I'm sure this is by no disappointment to you, anon, but I accidentally wrote a whole oneshot out of this prompt. Oops.

By default, Fresh has an inability to feel emotions properly, and even if they start to develop for any reason, his reactions towards them are... dangerous, at best. If for some lucky reason he doesn't attack or kill someone he starts to feel trust or care for, it'd be no surprise if he'd get very overprotective of them instead. Especially if they're chaos-causing buddies.

Fresh isn't close to many people and doesn't know many who think of him other than an object of fear an destruction. It's not like it bothers him all that much; he can't feel a whole lot to begin with. He instead just feeds off of it for entertainment. Watching other's emotions is pretty entertaining -- and if they only show fear around him, then he's gotta make the best of it. When life gives you lemons, right?

He's just got one friend, and thank the stars that you're just as willing to cause this absolutely unhinged chaos around the multiverse as he is. Not to mention that you're very interested in everything about him: his outfit choice, his true form, his hobbies, even all of his pet furbies that everyone else finds terrifying you're downright obsessed with. The next time he sees you, he's playing it cool, as usual, practically ignoring the fact that he's done nothing but think about you since the last time you two parted. What chaos is on the agenda today? Stealing a car, stealing some art, maybe killing a guy or 5, confessing your love to each other... wait, what, sorry, what was that last one? What he didn't really understand was your desire for intimacy. Nothing much, just cuddling while watching TV, but he didn't understand why you'd want that. Not even just from the standpoint of he could definitely kill you at any second if he felt like it, though that was a valid reason not to get close to him as any; but rather just... the appeal of intimacy? He didn't really care one way or another -- or, so he said -- but definitely didn't understand why you'd want to cuddle in the first place. With anyone, frankly. Not just him. And still, he went along with it -- 'cause it was you, right? Sometimes he wonders if he spoils ya too much.

You'd picked out Titanic to watch, explaining how it was an iconic movie from the 90's as much as the rest of Fresh's collected TV shows and outfits. Within seconds before it started, you had already curled yourself up next to him, leaning your head against his shoulder. Fresh was, although genuinely aware this was going to happen, genuinely still unprepared for it to happen. What does he do from here? Hug? Just accept it? Try to do the same thing back? He lost all interest during the beginning part of the movie purely because he was so intently focused on you leaning against his arm.

Your attention was grabbed once skeletal fingertips were pressed against your scalp, combing through your hair as gently as possible. Fresh, normally taking the bodies of skeletons for convenience, was not exactly used to hair and flesh. Frankly, it fascinated him a bit. It was soft. Very soft. And so squishy and fluid compared to the rigid bones he had.

Maybe this whole "dealing with emotions" wouldn't be so bad. Well. That's not true. He's just making an exception.

MY PURPOSE IS TO FINISH MY COURSE

The best way to learn leadership is to take a leaf from those who have gone before us. There are critical lessons to be obtained from the good things done by those people and equally so, the bad surrounding their lives can likewise be used as a basis for learning.

One great leader who made a significant impact from a spiritual standpoint was the Apostle Paul. We cannot talk of the New Testament without making reference to this great leader.

Whether it was in publicly preaching the gospel, one on one sessions, writing great masterpieces in literature, mentoring or coaching, Paul remains an inspiration to every leader who desires to leave a tangible trail in their leadership. Paul was a leader who driven by much urgency as he pushed the cause unto which he was called.

As he was about to depart from Ephesus, Paul addressed the leaders of the church and in the speech, profound lessons on leadership emerge. The height of his address came in Acts 20 vs. 24 where he said; "But l consider myself of no value, my purpose is to finish my course and the Ministry l received from the Lord Jesus Christ, to testify to the gospel of God's grace.

Paul knew his purpose and he was fully given to that cause. Everyone has a purpose they must have an encounter with and subsequently fulfil. No one is here for the sake of mere existence. Instead, the fact that you are alive today is proof of the solution provision that you are carrying. The fact that you came this time is proof enough of something of value you carry for the benefit of civilization. Every person who is worth his salt cannot afford to lead their life anyhow. Life should never be wasted doing things willy nilly. No one is here to merely maintain the normal biological processes. The worst thing that a person can do is to leave the earth in a worse off state than they would have found it. Every leader has an obligation to at least create a positive movement in the space they find themselclves in.

Paul knew his purpose and he indicates on how his purpose was to finish the course with excellence. The greatest fulfilment in life lies in fulfilling the reason why you are here in the first place. A leader who addresses his or her why stands to make the world a better place. Because Paul knew his why, he contributed much with his life.

Besides the commitment to the cause before him, Paul remained focused to the big picture. Amidst the choas and trials, he was fully given to the ultimate goal. Great leaders see the end from the beginning and they give their all to that purpose.

As Paul addressed the Ephesian leaders, he indicated and showed them how his life was before them as an open book. There was no need for Paul to hide anything. Here was a leader who was principled to a point where he declared publicly before them on how he never hid anything from anyone. It is the hallmark of leadership greatness to at least lead one's life with utmost integrity. Character and integrity are the utmost qualities of leadership.

One thing that Paul emphasised on was the commitment he had towards service. At the very centre of leadership effectiveness is service. Jesus indicated and admonished his disciples to serve where he said that he who desired to be great was supposed to serve. As Paul pushed his agenda in Ephesus and all the other places he ministered, he served with a selfless heart as distinct from a selfish one that tends to be common these days. The biggest challenge in our generation is a leadership that is selfish. This is a leadership that is driven by a personal agenda at the expense of the public agenda that benefits all. Paul points to himself as an example of how to give oneself fully to the cause as he was pushing to finish the assignment within his alloted time.

Paul served with humility. He never lorded it over others. Instead, he gave himself to the benefit of all. Pride goes before a fall. True leadership is not power, prestige nor possessions. It is always a humble service to others. The leader who chooses to go low will likewise be lifted to higher echelons of impact and greatness. Paul managed to impact far and wide because of the humble heart he displayed as he pushed the very cause that was placed upon his shoulders. Every assignment placed on the shoulders of the leader is never achieved by arrogance and pride but through humble service.

With many tears and in the midst of trials before him, Paul never stopped on his trails. Paul served sacrificially. The depth of conviction he had was exceptional. Leadership and sacrifice cannot be separated. Every success pass through the ladder of sacrificial service. Before the crown comes, the cross must be carried. Great leaders are prepared to deal with pressure before they enjoy any pleasure. The journey to every Promised Land passes through the wilderness. Paul even tells the Ephesian Leaders on how he knew that chains and tribulations awaited him wherever he went. With the very chains which he knew were ahead of him, Paul never backtracked on what he was supposed to do. Challenges or no challenges, Paul acted like a real leader by forging straught into the storms. Leaders are men and women given to the cause to a point where they can face anything and everyone. Whether it was kings with hefty titles or sailors at sea, Paul proved that he was not moved by anyone. He was given unto the cause for which he was called heavenward in Christ Jesus. It was this purpose that Paul was pushing forward. He knew fully well that he didn't have forever to fulfil his mandate. Everyone is here for a season and it is during the set season that the work must be done.

Paul offloaded everything he had. He told the leaders of Ephesus on how he gave all that he was meant to give. He was leaving the place after having finished his assignment. He brought about the change which he was supposed to effect. Leaders know that they are positive contributors and movers. They never sit back without effecting transformation. Paul's contribution entailed proclaiming publicly and continually the message he was meant to dispense.

At the point of departure of a leader, a clear trail of positive contribution must be seen. The leaders at Ephesus cried when Paul mentioned on the possibility that they were not going to see him again. A time comes in a leader's life that they must depart the scene. Before that time, there is need to do everything in one' s capability to add value. The work done must speak into future generations.

The work that Paul did at Ephesus is on record and it remains an inspiration to us. What type of work are you doing? Will the work stand the test of time? Are they going to make reference to you after you have departed.

Boiling Point ft Sik-k - Sik-k is like Groovy Room these days...EVERYWHERE (pun fully intended). Instrumental is nice. All R&B and smooth. I like Sik-K’s verse on this. He legit ALWAYS delivers and people seem to just know his style and what will fit him so well. They always seem to get him on the right songs. Overall, I can’t say I’m too hot on the song though. It’s good quality but it’s not really catchy or anything that special.

Chameleon - Again, nice instrumental. I don’t really have much else to say. It’s just an alright song. Nothing too interesting.

Nirvana ft Park Jimin - This is the single according to Apple Music. Well, Jimin sounds nice but...of course she does. Don’t really like the song.

Ravi Da Loca -  Maybe my expectations were just too high. This is a mixtape after all. I’m not too interested in this one either...

Payday ft Choi Choa & OLNL - OK, this one is better than the last 3 at least. This one is alright. Again, it’s not too special though. Which is why I don’t have much to comment on. But you it’s alright but better alright than the other ones. The Choa girl’s voice is nice. OLNL comes in way at he end with like 30 seconds left.

Wow. Overall, this mixtape was kind of a disappointment? Don’t get me wrong. The instrumentals are all pretty good. The songs aren’t bad but they just aren’t too interesting which is why I had so little to say. As opposed to Ravi first album, this mixtape was kinda just mediocre. There’s not really any risks taken or anything to really make it interesting. Its just one toned throughout. Whereas, the album from last year had highs (”Rose”, “Ladi Dadi”) and lows (”Bomb”, “Do the Dance”) and a few songs in the middle that were alright. Despite the lows, the album really impressed me and made him the artist with one of the best releases in 2017 for me. At that point, Ravi was kinda just a joke to me so it was BIG that I was thinking that highly of his work (even with the lows). So maybe my expectations for Ravi were just way too high after hearing something like “Rose”. Again, this album was not bad by a long shot but it’s just so....ehhh. So I guess the balance of the universe is coming back and that’s why I’m feeling ehhh about Ravi again. Anyway, “Payday” is the best song. Not saying much but still.
