i got new tap shoes today!!! i enrolled for an adult tap class and an adult musical theatre class (haz is gonna do adult ballet) and i am so excited to be Learning again prior to auditioning this year fgbknjgnf. tap is my fave dance discipline so i hope i will have fun and have not forgotten everything!!!!

the thing is, i know realistically that full time jobs take up a lot of people’s time, but that’s also hard for me to put in perspective while working full time AND doing school AND volunteering a bunch. Like. i very literally have no free time right now and the idea of ONLY working 40 hours a week sounds so luxurious to me… Like. imagine if work (that stayed at work) was my ONLY responsibility… if i could just come home and lounge?? unfair. obscene, even.
#i would be SO much more chill and get sooooo much reading done!#maybe i could even watch a show or something????#but nooooooooo#gotta work work work all day long#at least i’m getting enough sleep#early bedtimes ARE something i’ve stuck to#could i be getting more done if i stayed up later? sure.#but it’d be lower quality and i’d be even LESS coherent for it#so it’s much better to get the sleep#maybe in 2029 i will know peace… (planning to finish my Master’s degree by 2028 at the latest)#just give me a secure full-time job with benefits and NOTHING ELSE#i’ll keep volunteering as much as i can but like. i just need DOWNTIME… literally ANY would be great#i had 101 assignments due in eight weeks this semester - that is fucking CRIMINAL#LET ME LIIIIIIIIIIIIVE 😭😭

I saw this house for sale near where I live sometime in summer or autumn last year but 'lost' the listing before I could show y'all the pic. Just wanted to second thatisbloodyfantastic’s comment from a few days ago about how wonderfully written your post about getting ADHD meds was. So cathartic to read!! I was just diagnosed with ADHD for the first time (in my late twenties 🙃) a couple months ago and I’m still coming to terms with it and struggling to find meds that actually work. Your description of that daily executive function struggle as “The Weighted Nothings” resonated so deeply with me I’m bringing it to my therapist and also stealing it as a band name sorry

#my left knee however#the leg i am allowed to stand on#did put on a protest today so that was extremely fun#my pelvis actually is fine it's the rest of my body that is trading off having a go#which actually is my fault i am going through a period of fucking around with the drug doseages as per instructions#and i do not have the best stomach#anyway the pelvis is used to this kind of abuse#i literally spent probably a thousand dollars this year fixing my hip/lower back issue from six years ago lmfao#'you need to strengthen your hips' what if i just break one and lose all of my muscle#what if i practise my one leg chair stands but only on the left side#these notes have gotten out of my control i was just here to make one funny comment#anyway very thankful i fixed my back because that actually would have caused more pain#god works in mysterious ways#aka a very clear message to stop fucking around and quit your job#but also fix that first and have eight hundred dollars a week for your troubles

cvs sent me a text yesterday saying my prescription is ready which was weird bc its a few days early & now they are telling me ‘uhmm actually its too early for this to be covered by insurance so you have to wait another ten days :/ whoops.’ which means ill have several days without the prescription i have to take every day. do you want me to just kill myself
