{77} Movies Seen in 2020 - 3 Stars
I saw this because of Isabelle Huppert. That's more than enough reason to press play.
Luckily this odd and entertaining. It's a play, the movie doesn't make a lot of effort in making it seem otherwise. It's also an 18th-century play, and the movie does absolutely nothing to adapt the script to modern days.
It's just played out like it was originally written. It's odd. but after the first half-hour, it just works.
Isabelle is brilliant and beautiful, and Louis Garrel does a good job holding his own alongside her.
