Once the wheels finally hit the ground and the plane slowed down on the road, Lucienne let out a soft sigh. It was normal for her to sit in a helicopter, getting from a to b or she would travel by train but-- an 1 .30h flight compared to an 18h trip by train... She just didn't trusted the pilot to much after the slight rough start.

She looked down at her phone, waiting for her luggage, before she texted the captain, that she already landed in Ireland and would soon take the bus from Shannon Airport to Galway Bus Station; asking if he could pick her up from there.

The hour long ride on the train, gave her some more time to unwind from the flight she took and let her enjoy some of the scenery of Ireland.

Finally at the final destination, she looked for the familiar black haired, tall captain; holding her suitcase and bag close.

thinking about officer luce tbh... aera thought he insisted on taking her off of padd to boost his own status but it seems like he really wanted to advocate for her. i wonder why he thought onus might be more reasonable? also just curious about luce in general tbh. he seems like he really believes in the commune's values ("but i learned my lesson," telling her nurin only "seems" intimidating) but he's also clearly sympathetic toward aera and doesn't want her to go through what he went through. he tells onus that aera playing piano alone is "trivial" and not worthy of bothering nurin with, which makes me think he does think nurin does and cares about important things, but it sounds like he's trying to convince himself as much as he means to convince her that nurin won't be overly harsh about aeras "small" crime. maybe luce was also picked on for being weird as a kid. anyway im going to pay more attention to him on this reread.
