More Hollow Life AU! I love these guys' bugsonas! Especially Gem and Jimmy.

Gem wakes up in Mantis Village where she earns the respect of the lord through trial by combat. Scar in Fog Canyon where he immediately catches on to Millebelle's scam and wants in! Martyn wakes up just outside of Hallownest with Ren, they get picked up by the Grimm Troupe. Tango starts alone. Jimmy wakes up in the same room as Skizz with Mumbo not far from them, the 3 get picked up by Quirrel who babysits them!

Deciding to add some lore hear, the Watchers gave "gifts" to their "favorites" when they transplanted the lifers into Hallownest. Grian was given his cloak as there is Watcher symbol on the inside of it as a private reminder to him of where he hails. Jimmy's entire outfit was given to him by the Watchers, that's why it's so weird, they are reminding him of his place by modeling it off a canary. Scott's gift was getting to be the most useless bug in combat possible, along with a perfectly sized lantern to trap him in! I've yet to decide on Martyn's gift, but he must have one. Suggestions?

Speaking of suggestions, GIVE ME BUGS! I don't know what bugs to make everyone else and need suggestions! So far I have:

The Lantern Keeper

No performance goes without the lights illuminating the stage: or, in this case, the flames!

The keeper ensures there is neither too much or too little light present so the viewers may experience the atmosphere of the troupe tent in the best intended ways. The little fire lumaflies dance around the keeper, follow the instructions, rest and charge at the lanters and cast the fire and light at the command. The keeper is never without them or at least a single lantern.

i know i already have a bunch of series so far, but this one's a good one to quickly whip together when the ferretbrain or life kicks me in the teeth. little vessels! back in july, i sketched forty-three vessels based off almost every charm and most items in hollow knight, so here are the results of listening to a lot of long and boring lectures XD

so meet kindle and lyre! they're not proper OCs in the sense that they've got tons of enthusiasm or a role in a story behind them, but i can pencil out a history and trajectory for them.

Ok, i managed to buy the key and was looking for the places that I had seen were locked (but I had forgotten that I had bought markers and FORGOT TO PUT THEM ON THE MAP!), but I can't find them anymore

Regarding the story, I stopped at the fight against Hornet (and I still haven't managed to win 😔😔)

I'm saving money (what's the name? I don't remember) now to buy the light (?) to search the places that are in complete darkness

alright!! nice! So you've gone through Forgotten Crossroads and Greenpath that's noice. Honestly markers are your best friend it's very much worth it to do a little round through Crossroads just to mark where you find roadblocks just so you know where to come back to later.

I'm guessing since you have access to the lumafly lantern then you've met Sly the shopkeeper! what did you think of him? and the mapmaker? arghgh dudee I hope you don't mind me following along with your progress it just makes me very happy. Good luck getting the lantern! (also the money is geo)
