Jean-Luc Picard is the son of a French immigrant to New York City and Athena. He's camp counselor of Cabin 6. He speaks English, French, and Greek fluently, and he's an incredible tactician, but a better negotiator. He's convincing enough to make Aphrodite cabin jealous.

Geordi LaForge is camp counselor of Hephaestus's cabin. He's also responsible for the quest to Hephaestus's junkyard that brought back a mostly intact automaton who the cabin quickly repaired and adopted as one of their own. The automaton introduced himself as Data, and he's a part of Hephaestus' cabin now.

Beverly Crusher is a daughter of Asclepius, and she's the best healer the camp has ever seen, much to the ire of Apollo cabin. She's not very skilled with weaponry, but everyone wants her on their side in Capture the Flag because she can heal minor scrapes and bruises instantly, and any more serious injuries treated by her heal twice as fast.

Deanna Troi is the rare daughter of Aphrodite blessed with empathic abilities. Not that she needs to be empathic to know that Worf Rozhenko, son of Ares, and William Riker, a legacy of Zeus, are both crushing on her hard. Most of the other campers are jealous of how much attention Aphrodite pays to her children. Deanna wishes she would pay them a little less attention.

Worf was raised in Russia by two adoptive parents, but he fled after accidentally killing someone with his divine strength during a soccer game. A satyr eventually found him hiding in Estonia and led him to Camp Halfblood. He makes a point to control his strength to avoid hurting anyone, but he's a force to be reckoned with on the battle field.

aight, give me five (5) headcanons for my no good very bad canon divergence au where odo links with the baby changeling from the begotten, realizes it (she?) is still sickly, and saves her life

Odo can communicate in a limited way with the baby changeling through physical contact. He can sense its thoughts and feelings when he touches it, and he thinks it's probably getting something in response from him. It's enough to know it was still stick, and he takes it back to Bashir for treatment.

Because he saves the baby changeling's life, he remains solid which he's not terribly happy about, but raising the baby changeling is very healing in a lot of ways. It helps him come to terms with a lot of the ways Mora hurt him. He doesn't necessarily forgive him for everything, but he understands it a lot better, and he finds a lot of catharsis in doing right by the baby changeling.

Mora really wants to name the baby changeling, but Odo insists it should get to chose its own name so it "doesn't get stuck with a name that started as a joke." Mora takes this comment very personally, but Odo grudgingly admits he's grown attached to his name.

The baby changeling grows much faster than Odo did due to the combination of Mora's experience and Odo's ability to communicate with it. It's much more reactive in Odo's presence and much shyer around Mora for obvious reasons. It likes Mora too, but Odo is the favorite.

Its thoughts start out very simple, just vague likes and dislikes and emotions, but the more shapes it's exposed to and turns into the more complicated they become. By the time it can turn into simple life forms, it can communicate complex ideas and images, but it doesn't quite get the hang of words until it masters a humanoid form.
