I enjoy shipping, but I cannot see the appeal in watching shows only for the purpose of shipping; I think it closes you off to so much. I think coming into a work with the expectation that it will only succeed if a particular configuration of people end up happily in a relationship with each other when the curtain closes means you will reject so many unexpected choices altogether. It destroys your ability to appreciate the entire concept of tragedy. Just, imagine refusing to let yourself enjoy "I'm not a gardener" because you are too furious that a different kiss than the one you wanted happened to feel other emotions.

i'm really psyched abt Buck 911 getting to have his bisexuality, but tbh if they aren't writing him making the same romantic mistakes as he has with women (e.g. - jumping in too fast, accepting whatever affection he can get without questioning his own needs, hanging onto a relationship a liiiittle too long out of hope, sublimating his big gay feelings for his best friend into an Acceptable Dating Target, etc) that ain't my guy

i think logan's relationship w marcia and him missing her and genuinely valuing and loving her is so good and it rounds out his character in a really nice way. like as soon as we meet logan, we meet marcia. and they are very much a team. it's a much needed layer to his character and i think it helps show the audience that he is capable of like tenderness. it's just so interesting and makes me think
