It was a dark stormy night..you were working at your desk quietly with your headphones in as the storm raged and thundered outside. You glanced to the window once or twice with a soft sigh gently escaping your lips.

I hope he's ok..; you thought as a shock of bright blue lightning fell from the sky lighting up the room momentarily making you jump a little. You'd been thinking about butch all day mostly, you just didn't want him out in that weather. You were worried yet you somehow got a feeling he'd be just fine.

You sighed once more to yourself as you let the music fill your head. You had a lot on your mind..you couldn't help but think of so many different things at once. The past few years had been rough, work wise was just stressing you out..as well as fake friends and fake past love. Everything was getting under your skin, you were just glad that Butch was there to hold you through your tears. And boy did you miss him right now.

As you lost yourself in your thoughts you felt a firm yet gentle hand on your shoulders. Was it? Who were you kidding you knew who it was and you immediately felt a warm smile spread across your face.

"Heya babydoll~ whatcha doin?" You chuckled as you took out your headphones and turned to face him. You were stared back at, as his red eye light created a soft red glow against your work desk. "Nothing..i was just thinking about you though"

He smiled, clearly happy with that response as you felt his thumb rub soothing circles on your back that gave you the good goosebumps. "Heh, glad to hear i—" he was cut off by a loud bang of thunder that made you squeal.

"Eyyyy..woah woahhh babyyyy, babyyy slow down aight? Take it easyyy C'mere.." He chuckled as he sat up on the bed with a smile welcoming you to his embrace. "Mm..ok.." You mumbled and climbed into his lap and hugged him closely, as his big strong arms around you making you feel safe.

You heard a gentle chuckle and looked up at him, "what?.." You mumbled. "Nothin..yer just...Beautiful" he whispered thumbing your cheek softly. You hummed and let him do so.

"I love you.." You whispered, he hummed and kissed your temple only saying "sleep.." In a low gruff tone. His hands wandered up your jumper and scratched your back and kissed you cheek, humming in a tone that slowly lulled you to sleep.

And with that you both fell asleep, forgetting about the storm and the only thing that mattered to you both was that you were alone...together..in each other's arms. Cuddling sweetly and warmed laying against each other and damn there was no place you'd rather be..

You woke up to the dim light of an unfamiliar room, your eyes adjusted to the dark room when you felt a ringing pain in your head. You were tied up, couldn't move, you were confused and scared very scared. You were squirming around trying to free yourself from the metal chains wrapped around your body when all of a sudden you heard.

"Well, well, well looky here boys~ sleepin' beauty's finally awake" you looked up in horror to realize you'd been kidnapped by the snake mafia one of butch's (your husband) worst enemies. You glared at Seth the leader of the gang. "Dawww what's wrong princess? Cat got your tongue~" he lifted up you chin to meet his eyes but you refused his gaze.

"B-butch will kill you for t-t-this" you stutterd through the pain in your head. "Oh ho hoo sorry babe your 'prince Charmin' hasn't noticed yet~ you've been here for hours, and we ain't heard a damn thing from that walking sack 'a bones" he smirked while placing a thumb on your lip.

You bit down on it. Hard. To the point where when he forcefully removed his thumb from your mouth it was covered in blood. He slapped you hard across the face "stupid skank! " the force made a single tear form in the corner of your eye.

It wasn't long after they began hustling you for information, "where do they keep the money huh? " "I don't know", you responded " where are they hidin'? " "I don't know" you responded yet again. He slapped you again and grabbed your cheeks to force you to look at him "listen here ya stupid slut that red mafia retard is your fuckin husband, you mean to tell me 'you don't know' where he keeps shit!? " he shouted in your face.

"If ya wanna know so fuckin badly why don cha ask me yerself? " a low voice spoke it was demented with anger and you knew exactly who it was. "BUTCH!" you cried out with joy.

Before you could say anything he pulled Seth by the hair and smashed his face repeatedly into the corner wall until the floor was covered in his blood. It spilled out of him like a water bottle that tipped over on its side. Your husband glared at the other gang members.

He pulled out his gun pointed them to their faces and said in a tone you never heard before " stay the hell away from my wife you bastards. " before pulling the trigger multiple times killing every single one.

He rushed over to you and untied the chains and when you were free you leaped onto him and started to cry and cry. He pulled you into him lovingly as you cried into his chest, "I am so sorry sweetheart" he said in a broken whisper, "I should've never let you outta my sight.. Not for a damn second. "

He teleported you both home, you cleaned up and just lay in bed. "Baby" he said rubbing circles on the plush of your inner thigh. "Mhm" you mumbled enjoying the soothing circle movements on your thigh. "I'm so fuckin sorry, this whole thing is my fault I got you involved with my bullshit and now.. Well now look at whats happened.. " he said looking away from you.

"Butch-" you said lovingly, "really it's not your fault I shouldn't have wondered off without you" you rubbed his cheek bone to comfort him. He was still avoiding your gaze. "The most important thing is that we're not severely injured or hurt", you reminded him he placed a cold boney hand on yours that was on his cheek bone.

"Yeah.. Yeah yer right sweetheart", he said with a relived sigh "I'm glad they didn't dare to hurt ya too bad, but it still gets on my damn nerves that they tried to".

"Shhhh" you nuzzled into the crook of his neck and wrapped your arms around him which in turn he did the same. "I love you butch" you kissed his neck before snuggling up to try get some rest.

"I love you too doll, I'm never lettin' ya outta my sight again don't worry", he kissed your forehead before falling asleep in the bed with you.
