mod idea i want to see realized but don't have the technical skill for: making the falmer in the forgotten vale non-aggressive towards you once you kill vyrthur.. or a master-of-disguise extension where the falmer will recognize you as friendly when you're wearing falmer armor...

this game is so pretty it's not fair

#i've been really into skyrim lately#the vibes are immaculate#it's a huge comfort game for me#been falling asleep to those '10 hour skyrim ambiance' videos on yt lmao#reminded me i should share some of these screenshots i took the past few days#cruddy rambles#yes my dragonborn is a battlemage what about it!!!#it's genuinely a really fun playstyle to play support while your teammates destroy everything for you#play on legendary and setav their damage values to like .3 and it's so so so fun to play support#you get oneshot by everything so your followers HAVE to take aggro#im a conjuration/alteration mage so i can summon walls of earth to block enemies and wraiths that explode on impact#the thalmor embassy is going to suck but it'll be a fun experiment to see how far this build can take me#currently my dragonborn's goal is to 'save up' enough money to pay for his education at the college of winterhold. so he's roaming around#doing bounties and got roped into the main story by accident#so far we've found lucien kaidan inigo and lydia (who is getting replaced by auri when we get close enough to make me beelining to her#believable on the 'roleplay' part of things) naturally#my dragonborn is originally from solstheim and came to skyrim for the college. which. he doesn't know it's horrible so that'll be fun.#listen i wanted a reason to actually have my character 'established' before i did college stuff as for roleplay reasons i'll be leaving#my followers at home for that questline#so he needs the money lmao

We have once again transitioned from shirking my responsibilities in favor of Skyrim to shirking my responsibilities in Skyrim.
There may be something to be said about my anxiety and ADHD when I feel overwhelmed with how many organizations are relying on me in a video game with unlimited time, but there’s a lot of pressure.
I feel bad for repeatedly rescheduling with Alduin, the World Eater, but there’s really nothing I can do.

After 2 weeks and a day of overall progress in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, I’ve been made Arch-Mage of Winterhold College…definitely one hell of an achievement if you ask me…I might have had to make a few trips to the abandoned house in Markarth and back to relocate my entire inventory, but it was worth it. Hogwarts will always be my #1 home, of course, but Winterhold College might just pass for 2nd place.

hi!! 🩷 i've been playing skyrim so much just for comfort and all i can think of is former mercenary könig who now has a farm and a huge house where you have a personal library and a garden and an alchemy table because you're his pretty mage wife <3
or könig who's still a mercenary, this huge scary nord who always has war paint all over his face even with a hood on, only uses two-handed weapons etc. and you're possibly just a mage who needs to explore a bunch of ruins so you have to spend most of your money to hire him and all of your courage to even talk to him about the job in the first place.
SHUT UP I LOVE SKYRIM
Ugh he def proposed to you under the auroras or when you were enjoying a rest at some secret grotto. Held an awkward “I want to spend the rest of my life with you” speech right after you emerged from a stream with nothing on (König stole a glance or two from the banks after promising he wouldn’t look, the big pervert)
He’ll carry anything you give him, and loves it when you make him a homecooked meal <3 Poses as a rough Nord but is always happy to arrive home after adventuring, sleep and fuck you on a cozy comfy bed that has a soft straw mattress with some mountain flowers tucked in it.
Is a bit skeptical about your magic and potions tho, König never understood those things and you dabbling with them makes him think you’re some sort of witch, soon luring him into a trap with your enchanting eyes :/ That’s why it took months before he finally threw caution to the wind and rutted you in the hot springs near Kynesgrove...
He just couldn’t take it anymore, his flirty little mage being such a tease :( Do you even know how many times he had to fap himself to sleep under the furs? ...While you slept soundly not a few feet away, unsuspecting and sweet? Always walked ahead of him so that he had a hard time keeping an eye for the bandits because your ass was swaying right there under his nose >:(
Paws itching to touch you, he especially hated when you sought out a tavern and started to chat with townsfolk or flirt with men to hear rumours. Either cheeky or far too innocent to be travelling with someone like him, you proposed that you pay for single room only and sleep in the same bed to save costs.
Sometimes snuggling closer for some body heat, you didn't get intimidated by the obvious boner soon swelling between you. You even dared to comment on how hairy he was, and fell asleep with a soft smile on your face, pressed snug against his chest. In the morning, you cupped his ass and he had to get a little gruff, warn you that he’ll fuck you until the bed breaks if you’re not careful (that finally got you to your senses, but only for a few days)
He always wanted to build you a proper house, a manor even, steal you away from all the diplomatic nonsense and dangers, he even put some coin to the side so he could someday offer you a safe, happy life away from all this. You could have your own chickens and leeks, he could make you a little alchemy lab too, you’d look so cute perched on some bench with your nose in a book <3 So imagine how his heart soared when you whispered 'yes' to his proposal, König was sure you’d just vaguely tease him about it as per usual!

Durnehviir from Skyrim, Platonic/Romantic intentions. Scenario where he's been so lonely in the Soul Cairn and aching for company - particularly Dov company - that when the Dragonborn/Dovahkiin arrives, he decides to prevent them from leaving. If headcanons are better for you to write it out, since you're new to Skyrim, that's also fine. - Scale Anon
I'll do a concept but I will mention your plot! I really did enjoy meeting him in the Dawnguard quest :) I think so far the Soul Cairn quest and the Mage College quests are my favorite. Man... I love dragons :D
Yandere Durnehviir Concept
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Isolation, Kidnapping, Manipulation, Dubious companionship, Possessive behavior.
Tumblr media
Being trapped in the Soul Cairn surely has to be lonely, right?
Durnehviir hasn't seen his own kind in forever, he also can't be killed.
He's forever meant to fly/roam the Soul Cairn with its endless sea of purple and blue.
That is until he meets you, a Dragonborn venturing into the Soul Cairn with a vampire in tow.
Durnehviir would meet you as he does in the game during the Soul Cairn section.
You come for the Elder Scroll, fight him, and gain his respect.
You'd be right that the undead dragon would crave your attention.
He feels so at home when he senses the Dovah blood within you.
He can feel it when you shout, he can sense it when you're near...
It feels so nice to have Dov company again.
Durnehviir may even be angered at the fact he can't follow you out of the Soul Cairn.
He may not trap you right away but it'll happen with time.
As much as it pains him he'll let you leave after some chat.
He teaches you his shout for you to call his name, in fact he hopes you call his name.
Having a chance to feel the sun of Tamriel and speak with you, even if it isn't for that long, gives him something to look forward to.
Durnehviir even asks if you'll visit him in the Soul Cairn since you're attuned to it now.
Durnehviir then becomes a dragon you feel you can trust, an undead guardian with skills in Necromancy.
Affection between Dragonborn and Dragon is something I feel I should discuss.
For the most part it's respect, verbal communication between Dov is enough to show care.
However, the idea of something more physical feels tempting to write.
Durnehviir certainly yearns for some sort or company with his own kind.
If for some reason during your chats you feel compelled to, say... stroke his face in a gentle manner... it's divine.
He finds himself surprised at the affectionate gesture but does not fight it.
In fact... he'd stay as still as he can just to not disturb you from your moment.
If dragons could purr then he's certainly purring (Growling? Rumbling?).
Durnehviir begins to grow attached to your company.
He could talk to you for hours.
He loves your touch, he loves it when you shout his name to call him, at this point he feels he is loyal to you ever since you proved yourself to him.
You are a worthy Dovahkiin and the last of your kind.
So... do you really expect him to just let you leave him alone in the Soul Cairn?
Your greetings are often verbal, perhaps even shouts.
Yet Durnehviir admits he likes pressing his snout into your chest playfully due to your size difference (even if it's OOC but let me indulge).
If Durnehviir feels he can't be alone anymore then he could trap you in the Soul Cairn.
He can't really die, he always comes back into being within the Soul Cairn.
He's quick with it, too.
Even if you tried to escape the Soul Cairn after one of your visits, Durnehviir suddenly blocks the way.
The large undead dragon stares you down, eyes flaring with a certain passion to them
It reminds you of the blue glow the skeletons have in this place.
Durnehviir doesn't really feel bad for trapping you.
He can't take the loneliness any longer.
Plus, dragons eventually go back to their possessive roots and cravings for power.
In his eyes he's the closest Dovah to you and he plans to keep it that way.
Is it wrong to guard the Soul Cairn's gate to keep you with him? Maybe....
That's not even mentioning the prophecy you're meant to fulfill.
Instead of thinking about the future, Durnehviir wishes to fulfill his own desires.
He'll keep you here as company, his little Dovahkiin.
In the Soul Cairn there's no need to worry about food or living needs.
Here you have no such desires.
All you have now is the ghosts to talk to.
Even then, Durnehviir prefers to keep you isolated beside him.
You both won't ever feel lonely.
He'll take you to a tower or castle within the Soul Cairn and keep you there.
He'll curl around you and keep you under his wing, just so he can look at you with his eyes alone.
This is where you're meant to be.
You're meant to be with a fellow Dov, even if you are not fully Dovah.
Durnehviir will be the only company you'll ever need.
You could always try to slay him again, but he'll come back.
No matter what you do... Durnehviir will always be waiting at the gate of the Soul Cairn to retrieve you.
He refuses to be left here all alone...
So he'll make you stay here as his Dovahkiin... one he can adore and care for all of eternity in the Soul Cairn.

Work-in-Progress Wednesday
I am so close to finishing this chapter which I have been working on and dragging my feet on for entirely too long. Have some words or something.
This snippet features the lovely @sylvienerevarine's OC Sophrine! <3 Go check out her work because it is hilarious, entertaining, and everything you ever needed in life. You can thank me later.
Tagging: Obviously, you Molly, but also @oblivions-dawn, @bostoniangirl21, @dirty-bosmer, @umbracirrus, @pitiable-arisen, @bougainvillea-and-saltwater, @vivifriend, @skyrim-forever, @theoneandonlysemla, @inkysqueed and anyone else who wants to participate
“Have any of you ever been outside of the College?”
A few of them blink as if confused she is speaking to them before the Khajiit, Sal’ja, speaks. “This one has seen everything from the jungles of Valenwood to the cliffs of the College.”
“Anyone else?”
They shake their heads, and Dahlia bites her lip before looking towards one of the benches at the western end of the Yard. Lydia, Narile, and Sylvi all sit quietly watching her, her daughter bouncing on her housecarl’s knee as Narile leans in to kiss her wife’s cheek.
Eventually, when Lydia makes eye contact with her, she grins. “Anyone fancy an outing to the nearby village?”
Several hours later and after three separate conversations with her husband about being safe, Dahlia and her group set off for Kynesgrove. While it is not exactly the battlefield they will find themselves in later, anything is better than nothing. Or at least that is what Tolfdir had always told her right before things went either catastrophically wrong or ended in comically benign manner.
The sleepy town emerges before them as all things in Kynesgrove do: languidly, and without a sense of urgency. Except for that one time with the dragon, but that was a special occasion. Dahlia smiles as she dismounts her house and leads her small group of  band of followers over the worn, moss-covered cobble stones and into the center of the town. It is no wonder her mother chose to put down her roots here as the ambient and pace of life is much better suited for retirement, and the climate significantly warmer than in Windhelm. Perhaps she’ll have to try to talk Ulfric into visiting more often to see the sights and visit the hot springs, of course.
However, there is one thing which she might not be able to accustom herself to—the moment she steps into the main square of the town it would appear that all 50 of the residents, including the miners, have made their way out of their homes and businesses to welcome her there. News in small towns spreads more quickly than wildfire, and how it does so has always been beyond her.
“Good afternoon,” Dahlia starts, inclining her head towards the gaggle of onlookers. “I was just looking for the inn?” While it comes out as more of a question, and it is blatantly obvious that the large building in the middle of the square is in fact the inn, the sudden shift from sleepy town to bustling square flusters her. Why didn’t she bring Ulfric with her? She sighs. He always knows what to do in these situations, and it would seem that nothing ever catches him off guard.
“Follow me right this way.” A pretty Breton woman around her own age comes forward and places a hand on her shoulder before steering her past the crowd and straight into the inn. “They’re a bunch of gossips who have nothing better to do, but they have good intentions.” She smiles kindly at Dahlia before sitting her down at one of the tables as the mages and housecarl follow. “I’m Sophrine.” She extends a flour-coated hand towards Dahlia for her to shake.

@darthvaderofmiddle-earth
Okay, I have so many ocs for everything ever, but this is my skyrim ocs. Content warning for abuse, drugging, and abduction in some of their backstories.
Starting with Anais. She's half Altmer and half Bosmer. Her father holds a minor government position in Firsthold, important enough to be respected but not important enough for anyone to care what he thinks. He was on holiday once and had a brief fling with a Bosmer woman, and when he got home he discovered he was pregnant. After thinking about it for a bit, he decided he really did want to be a dad, so he kept the pregnancy and the kid. When she was young, Anais looked just like him, and early on discovered she was talented with magic. As she got older, though, she looked less like him, and it became obvious that she wasn't just Atmer. Her father tried to find a magic tutor for her, because her talent and skill were far, far beyond that of her peers, but no one of any real skill was willing to take her as a student. Her family was always more or less accepting, her father especially so, but others around her were less so.
Eventually, she decided she was truly sick of living in the Summerset Isles, so she talked a ship captain into hiring her as a ship's mage. There she met a boy who would become her best friend for a long time, Zezial. He was a bit shy, and somewhat more withdrawn than the rest of the crew, and he knew what it was like for no one to accept you, as his family had abandoned him as a child due to a large birthmark on his face. For a few years, they were absolutely inseparable. They both became more confident from knowing each other. Zezial figured out that he wasn't just a boy, but also a Something Else as well. They truly did love each other.
The ship's captain, though, was not a good man. And as many times as Anais saved his ship and crew from certain death with her magic, he had something against her in particular. Whatever his issue was, one day, he turned on her, claiming she had stolen from him, or something. Everyone else on the crew was silent- even Zez, who knew for certain she hadn't stolen anything, and desperately wanted to say so, was too afraid of the captain to speak up. So the captain struck her in the eye, and threw her from the ship into the water.
She washed up somewhere along the northern coast of Skyrim, unsure how she survived, and at that point decided that clearly being a sailor wasn't the answer. She's not entirely sure what she's going to do next, but with magical ability as good as she has, she's sure to find something.
-
Evin was the first Skyrim character I made and so of course, she's next. She/they/it pronouns all good for her. She's Bosmer, from Valenwood, and she had fully black eyes from the day she was born. Most of her family considered this an ill omen of some sort, including her father, who was so disturbed by it that he left. Her mother also considered this to be an omen, but thought leaving over it was definitely a step too far, because she's still a child and a person. She spent most of her childhood with her mother, rather than with other friends. Her family was wealthy, and her mother adored Evin, playing whatever games she wanted to, teaching her whatever skills she was curious about, reading her whatever books she chose.
Eventually, though, her mother fell ill. Fearing what the rest of her family, who didn't adore her child nearly so much as she did, might do without her around, she decided to send Evin to find her brother- estranged from the family now, but once close friends with his sister. She knew he was in the southern part of Skyrim somewhere, but little else about where he had ended up or what he might be doing. She wrote him a letter, gave it to Evin, and sent her child off.
Evin of course lost the letter long before arriving in Skyrim. She wasn't thinking about it when she went to jump in a river for a swim, and it became ruined completely. So when she finally did arrive in Skyrim, she had no idea who she was supposed to be looking for. She ended up more or less giving up on finding her uncle. No longer living in a place where every plant is sacred, she discovered that she loves apples, and with that discovery soon also discovered that she's a very good thief. Eventually, she found herself in Riften, joined the thieves guild, saved the thieves guild, and met her uncle without either of them realising it. She's only about whatever-the-bosmer-equivalent-of-19 is by the end of all this, lol. Later on she ended up joining the Dawnguard too, and has a massive crush on Serana(Serana knows this, and thinks it's adorable). She might also be dragonborn. Depends on whether I'm putting her in the same universe as the next two characters =P
-
This one is the 'darkest' one, heads up.
Loriel and Celandil are identical twins. They're also Bosmer(…there's a pattern here), and neither of them are cisgender. They grew up far away from Valenwood, with a mother and father who both lied about what the Green Pact said in order to fit their own wants. Their parents were not very kind people, their mother being especially cruel. She wanted her children to be strong and powerful and ruthless. When Celandil didn't want to hunt cute rabbits as a small child, she made him go without dinner. When Loriel wasn't quite as good at archery as her brother, she made them practice all night.
One day, as a (equivalent-of)teen, Celandil went on a 'date' with a human boy in the village they lived in, and their mother was furious. She didn't want either of her children getting involved with humans and had told them that many times. She beat him, and left him with a scar down his face and one of his antlers incapable of growing back correctly. It was at this point that he ran away.
Having always been interested in healing magic, and always forbidden to study anything related to magic by his mother, Celandil knew a tiny bit of it. He managed to get his left eye functional again, though that was as much as he could manage with his little skill. He decided to travel to Cyrodiil in hopes of learning more, and once he made it there, ended up learning not only healing magic, but also mundane healing as well, working as a healer(for free) in the poorer parts of the Imperial City. He managed to learn everything from midwifery to helping those at the end of their lives pass without pain. He also picked up a habit of wearing a mask to cover his scarred face, justifying it by saying it was because it scared some of his patients.
Loriel did not leave home when her brother did. They stayed for several more years. On their birthday, the 20th of Evening Star, when they were finally of age, she snuck out to go have a drink at a tavern, and to maybe celebrate with some strangers. She accepted a drink from a charming stranger, and then fell unconscious.
She woke up in a cave, hands tied, surrounded by people in robes. There was blood around, some of which appeared to be hers. These strangers, as she found later, were followers of Molag Bal, and were hoping to call to him on his summoning day, and beg to be made vampires. Their method of doing this was to attempt a re-enactment of the creation of the first vampire.
They got their wish… but Loriel was made a vampire as well. With new strength, and new speed, she escaped the cave while they were all celebrating. She found her way back home, and told her mother all that had happened- and her mother was, of course, angry with her. Called her all sorts of things, and told her that since she was a monster now she ought to go find a monster hunter to 'deal with' her. That was when Loriel left home.
Loriel wandered for a while, unsure what to do. She discovered that despite being a vampire now, sunlight didn't actually hurt her, she was just stronger in shadow. She discovered that she could live off animals' blood, though after being attacked by bandits for the first time, she found out she was much stronger if she fed on people. And she knew she hated vampires. While she could still pass for a living Bosmer if she tried, they had a keen ability to tell when other vampires were near, and could always tell if someone was hiding being a vampire. Often, Loriel could tell someone else was a vampire well before they had any chance of figuring them out. They also developed a fear of other people, especially other vampires.
So they decided to become a treasure hunter. They were skilled at archery, and now with their new speed and strength it was easier than ever to keep enemies at a distance, and most ruins were shadowed places. They would occasionally go into towns to sell off what they found, or to buy new a new knife or bow when the ones she had became dull or broken. She started keeping a silver knife on her at all times, too, just in case she encountered a vampire and couldn't just escape.
One day, Loriel was heading to a keep near a ruin she had just left to see if she could sell what she'd taken, and saw the place in ruins, and a large flying creature leaving the place. Cue main quest of Skryim beginning. Loriel is dragonborn, and while he doesn't know it because he's in Cyrodiil, Celandil actually is too.

Enjoy!
---
Was it unlawful and cruel to go running for the shoreline after a massive storm churned up several lost and sunken ships in hopes of finding leftover treasures or supplies to enhance one's own ship?
Nylarril didn't think so, and so did a majority of the others living on Pyandonea.
For months now the sea was in a state of unrest with storms regularly falling over the island. It was the summer months when such storms were meant to happen. Scouting and raid operations were at a halt until there were calmer waters. Only those ordered by King Orgnum himself venture out and with no less than three storm mages per ship to grant them safe passage out of the misty veil.
Until then, Nylarril was home and was going scavenging.
It was going to be awhile before he was called to action and he was hoping to find some decent tools leftover on the ships. If not, he could find some old weapons to turn over to the smith to remake them into new blades. And if it really was a worthless endeavor to search around the wreckages, he could at least find dinner.
There was no one around his area of the shoreline, at least to his knowledge. He did wake up pretty early after the storm had passed over the island. It was a blessing none of the trees had crashed down on his home and only blew leaves onto his path. A minor inconvenience, so long as he didn’t slip on any of them.
Nylarril was waist deep in the belly of a ship, cracked open like a shucked oyster. He could see the different levels and what was left of the cargo floating pitifully around him. Nothing survived their stay in the sea as plenty of them had been eaten by the fish or boring clams chewed the wood into splinters.
He did find the armory of one ship and started collecting the best looking pieces onto a floating crate for ease of carrying.
‘At least today wasn’t a total waste,’ he thought as he piled more miscellaneous pieces into the crate. ‘I can probably convince the smith to make me a new sword out of this. If any of the metal is good.’
With loot in tow, and maybe a few pieces of gold he found in some random corners, he started to wade his way back to the shore. He momentarily got lost inbetween the towering shells of the ships around him and found himself deeper into the ship graveyard. It was there that he heard a noise.
There was a persistent splashing sound somewhere inside the ship’s hull. It could be any number of things that could’ve been caught up in the wreckage. Maybe it was a bit of debris that was hanging in a weird way to keep splashing. Maybe it was a creature wrapped up in some rope trapped. Either way, it was making noise and that could mean something worthwhile to see.
With a new goal in mind Nylarril waded toward the noise. Rope around his waist to keep his floating crate nearby, it took him longer than he thought to find the source of the noise. The closer he got to the splashing the stranger it sounded. It sounded less like a piece of debris being pushed and pulled by the waves and definitely like something was caught and thrashing around.
It wasn’t long until he ducked under a fallen beam and turned the corner when he finally laid eyes on the cause of the sound.
“Mother Sea preserve me!”
Trapped, wrapped up in a tangle of netting and ropes, was a mermaid.

The last Akaviri alpha
Alpha Kaidan x reader
Warnings: Gore, light angst, smut, teasing, heats, ruts, jealousy, hurt/comfort, adult themes, mentions of rape
Tumblr media
You weren’t even sure how you became a target for such horrid people. The Thalmor dressed in their elven armour and high robes, using the empire to ruin whatever they can in Skyrim. You were simply heading to the village to gather some produce and other items needed at the farm when you heard chanting and your world went black. When you had awoken the cell stank of death, it was cold and your body was chained up by your hands. When you opened your eyes you realised you were naked, small cuts over your body in random places maybe from cutting your clothes off. You had sobbed for ages before you went numb and your mouth went dry. Sometimes a guard would come in throw some bread into the cell, sometimes you couldn’t reach it and would starve more, watching the rats get to it instead. Time was irrelevant down here, you don’t know how many days it’d been or weeks, who knows, once the Thalmor got involved nobody would find you.
You awoke with a startle as you heard shouting and cursing, you looked up seeing them being in someone new. A man in nothing but underwear, snarling and cursing, thrashing against the hold of four men. The man stopped a Thalmor mage behind the group holding his hand up, magic emitting from it. The man was knocked out and carried to a cage where he was cuffed to the wall, left to dangle like yourself. You hung your head again as the guards went by your cell and laughed. One walked in and you kept your head down before fingers forced your chin up. The mage elf spat in your face muttering something in a language unknown before shoving your head and walking off. The guards laughed behind him locking your gate again and leaving. You kept your tears back wishing you could wipe the spit off your face.
The stranger eventually woke up, struggling against the holds before realising it was no use. So this is how you’d die, in some cell gods know where with a stranger.
“Hey” you frowned looking up and over to the man. You didn’t answer him just put your head down.
“Be quiet” you said praying no Thalmor were around.
“They’re gone” he added but you didn’t answer.
“My names Kaidan” he said.
“I don’t care” you muttered, but he heard.
“Do you know how long you’ve been down here?” He asked and you ignored him.
“Alright” he said softly.
The man, Kaidan, tried to make conversation, you ignored him afraid something might happen. Guards would come in, throw your pieces of bread or unglove their hands and touch your body, laughing at it. You felt humiliated every time they did, the man in the other cell yelling at them to stop only to get himself beat up. Kaidan threatened them every time they came in, threatened to chop their hands and heads off before feeding them to the skeever. You could feel yourself slipping everyday the Thalmor noticed and barely kept you alive by forcing food and water down your throat. Sometimes you’d catch wiff of a scent unknown to you, smelt like home and sweet rolls, mixed with the wilderness and alpha. You didn’t know if it was an elf or the man in the cell. You didn’t catch it very often due to the smell of death, rotting food and your own body fluids. You heard the familiar sound of the door squeaking open and closing heavily. You cursed another Thalmor here to humiliate you. There were already guards here and a Thalmor mage who was torturing Kaidan. You hated the sounds they made and closed your eyes trying to block them out. It stopped once Kaidan passed out and the mage left on the other side of the cells. You heard a whistle of an arrow shoot by and hit the guard in the chair. He fell to the ground and you froze looking to the door. Someone walked out, a warrior by the looks of it a bone bow in their hands, arrows on their back and a sword on their hip. They walked to where they just striked grabbing something off the bench and rushing to your cell. You panicked smelling alpha as well.
“I’m not here to hurt you” they said a kind smile on their face.
“I’m here to free you” they added going to your cuffs and unlocking them. They took off their cloak and wrapped it around your shoulders. You had fallen to the floor, knees aching at the hit.
“Here, I have a healing potion” they said handing you a small red vile. You took and sipped it, your wounds healing fully and the hunger going away.
“There’s someone else” you pointed to the cell across from you and they nodded.
“Wait here a moment” they said leaving.
“Who are you? I’ll kill everyone of you bastards once I’m free” Kaidan fought.
“I’m here to help” the stranger said unlocking him. He also fell to the ground, but caught himself, the stranger handed him a potion and he sighed standing up and drinking it. You shuddered pulling the cloak over you.
“There’s one more bastard up that way, I’d help but I don’t have my gear, I’ll tend to the girl” he said and the stranger nodded readying their bow and going up the way Kaidan pointed.
Kaidan approached and you finally got to see him clearer, he was strong and tall, long dark hair and dark eyes. His scent hit you and you finally knew where that nice scent was coming from. He faltered a bit nose flaring as he took in your scent before shaking his head slightly. You heard distant yelling from fighting before it stopped.
“Just wait here a moment I’ll be back” Kaidan said grabbing the dead guards mace and going after the stranger. You struggled to your legs glancing to the way out. You needed to thank the stranger though. You headed where they went and went up the stairs to see the dead mage that tortured Kaidan. Kaidan was bent over a chest pulling out a sword a smile on his face.
“Are you alright?” The stranger asked turning to you and helping you to sit down.
“I am now” you nodded smiling slightly.
“Who are you?” You asked and they smiled.
“I am Dragonborn” they said and you almost didn’t believe him if you hadn’t heard the rumours. Exact armour and gear along with the markings they had.
“Why save us? How did you know?” You asked.
“Your father is worried sick he’d sent out papers over the town I was passing through, I picked it up, I knew the Thalmor had been taking people, they’ve got multiple places like this over Skyrim” they explained.
“Gods” you whispered.
“The inn keeper saw Kaidan here get grabbed but didn’t want to say anything in fear of getting taken too” they added.
“Glad you found us” Kaidan spoke up and the Dragonborn smiled.
“Of course” they said.
“I’m in your debt Dragonborn, should you need someone to join your travels” Kaidan said shrugging on a plain black shirt and pants. You frowned slightly feeling something tugging in your mind at his words. The dragonborn frowned slightly also at you before smiling.
“It’s alright, you deserve a warm meal and rest, should I need you, I’ll find you” the Dragonborn nodded.
“I cannot repay in that way I’m not a skilled warrior I work at a farm, should you need shelter though and food please don’t hesitate to stop by” you spoke up and they smiled.
“Should fate cross our paths again I’ll stop by for a fresh meal” they nodded. You watched Kaidan gather his armour on and sheath his sword. You hadn’t been able to focus properly with his scent in such a small room. You wondered what the tug was also, why was he so special?

I haven’t seen one on tumblr before I think so screw it I’m makin my own!! I’ll provide captions of what the mod contains and such and if they are CHONKY to download etc. You dont need to download all of these but hopefully these help someone building a Snelf run.
RACE MODS
True Snow Elf Race
(Suitable for a more vanilla-esque elven look for both available gender presentation. Also offers a retexture for more detail)
The Ancient Falmer

Playable Falmer
(Want to play as The Betrayed instead? This mod will satisfy that desire.)
QUESTS
Carved Brink (A large quest mod that adds a bit of Snow Elven history on a group that stayed away from the war. If navigation is difficult use the tcl command. Also, make sure you have followers to carry your loot bc there is A LOT. Otherwise its a beautifully done mod with an interesting story.)
Legacy Of The Dragonborn (A MASSIVE mod that gives you access to a museum to fill yourself but it also adds a lot of snelf content. Side quests to rediscover their lost temples, investigate their suffering under the hands of the Dwemer and even find ancient lost relics of their people. Adds more snelf centric weapons and loot ontop of all the other content it brings) Strange Friendship- Falmers (A custom voiced questline about a talking falmer showing up at the College Of Winterhold.)
PLAYER HOMES
Snow Elf Hut (A charming snelf home thats bigger on the inside. Good for if you want a big home but too overwhelmed by palace sized options. Would recommend!) Snow Elf Castle (A home mod for the noble Snelf who desires more than a hut or a hole in the wall) Aylerial Snow Elf Playerhome (Another palace sized home located near Castle Volkihar. Also good if your Snow Elf is mixed race as it contains a few dwemer centric objects.) Snow Elf Palace (A big and highly decorated palace home. In my opinion it feels like the most accurate or lived in of the bunch.)

FOLLOWERS
Female Falmer Follower
(A traditional Falmer follower that isn’t hypersexualized. Also a marriage candidate.)

ARMOR/ACCESSORIES
Ancient Falmer Armor Overhaul (Makes the armor shinier and look more like metal rather than plastic.)
Amulets of Skyrim (Adds various amulets to your game that are unlocked as you go along. Introduces Snelf centric amulets as well once you get to the Vale.)
Auriel’s Armor (Adds a new set of armor to compliment Auriel’s shield and bow. Requires a few smithing perks but are all unlocked upon completing “Touching The Sky”.
