Here's some of my warrior cats OCs with Dirtstar/Dirtclaw being the main character. Her sister is Petalheart, Maggotstar is mostly the cat responsible for turning Dirtstar into a terrible person (if anyone is interested I can explain the entire story)

blackpaw - she's best friends w/ flypaw. homie's a lil shy but she has a strong moral compass and loves her mom and dad n mentor. goes off to live with a bunch of barn cats when her parents die indirectly due to maggotstar's poor leadership skills.

maggotstar - she smells. she's... not the best leader and devotes most of her time giving her kits special treatment, and she knows it and hates herself for it. the medicine cat effin' HATES her lmao

flypaw - impulsive and a bit reckless. she doesn't like being the leader's kid, hating the fact that no matter what people will treat her differently (whether it's positive or negative)

buckpaw - in contrast to flypaw, he LOVES basking in the attention and glory of being the leader's kid and shows off a lot. he knows he's different from the other cats of the clans and indulges in it. without his mother he's helpless

i'm not too sure which blog to post about this on so why not on main, fuck it. i've been considering reworking my warriors ocs into being their own unique clans rather than just the ones from canon

their lore has always been that these clans are DISTANT descendants of the canon clans whose ancestors broke away to find their own home (for a lot of reasons, mostly prey scarcity but also Political Stuff) so my line of logic is that they just made their own versions of the clans in their new territory

but thinking about it more, i feel like maybe they would want to rename their new groups? after all, they left that old life behind for a reason, and the new territory would likely call for cats to adapt differently than they did in the old territories.

i kinda want to make them into three clans that inhabit a large span of territory? my current map for the territories feels pretty crowded so making it bigger would probably be better regardless

the issues with this change would be

1) i would have to mess around with the lore a bit; windclan, riverclan, and shadowclan i have the clearest plans for so they're the obvious choices for being reworked with the others being fused into them, but skyclan and thunderclan still do have some plot stuff. i'd have to be REALLY careful planning which characters get transferred to which clans for it to still make sense

2) there's one cat specifically that i really wanted to be leader of thunderclan that would likely have to either stay a warrior or be born waaaay later in the timeline (i could also possibly make four clans instead of three, i don't have an idea of who the future skyclan leader might be so?)

3) speaking of leaders, i'm pretty attached to most of my current cast of those too. pipitstar and ivystar have designs that i really love and i'd hate to have to cut them. i DO have plans for a separate "clan" of cats living in twolegplace that are unrelated to the real clans, but neither of those two would fit in that group. and i can't exactly switch them out for any of the others; wildstar and olivestar being leaders of their respective clans is integral to the plot. maggotstar i guess could be swapped because he's the one i'm least attached to but that would still leave one of the two out, unless again i have four clans instead

4) it would make the clans pretty big unless i destroy a bunch of background characters. apparently canon clans are way bigger than what the allegiances say so maybe i could get away with a slightly larger cast, but it's still something i'm concerned about; i don't want to push the envelope too much. i could possibly rework some of them into being kittypets/loners/rogues though

Mothwind anon here! This is about her best friend~ (hush ik that beetlewhisker is already a name but i like it, ok?)

Beetlewhisker is a mangy black and white colorpoint tom with many scars (which i forgot to draw here), and blue eyes although his left one is blind with a cataract. A shadowclan warrior, he’s the son of Maggotstar and Floeriver, and he and his brother Blueclaw were harshly groomed from the beginning to be their father’s successors. Beetlepaw was a bit less eager than Bluepaw, which made the white tom suffer abuse under his father until he got his warrior name.

A moon or so later was when Flowerkit. daughter of deputy Flamestone was kidnapped from Thunderclan as a hostage to provoke a battle. Beetlewhisker, Mothwind, and Beetle’s future boyfriend Nightlake stood up for her. As punishment, Maggotstar made Beetle have to raise the kit himself- getting barely enough prey for both. Nightlake stayed in the nursery with him, and they fell in love. Mothwind too, with Blazekit and Sunkit. Maggotstar fell soon after- and his loyal warriors escaped Shadowclan with him. A tom named Yellowheart became leader, and he apprenticed Flowerkit to Violetstrike, Mothwind’s daughter.

Beetlewhisker and Nightlake are peacefully in the elders den now; being cute together and sharing stories and good wishes to young cats who deserve it.

Honey's Horrible No Good Time in Warriors - A Masterlist

Honey's Horrible Time is a warrior cats inspired story inspired by the isekai genre: stories in which someone dies and is reincarnated into another world. This post is to help wrangle all my posts as tumblr tags are rather inconsistent in trying to manage everything.

The story revolves around the death of a human after being hit by a car and is reincarnated into a fake Warriors arc. She is sent into the body of Honeypaw, the half-sister and bully of the arc's protagonist, Frostblaze. With the spirit of Honeypaw and a strange "Guide" from StarClan accompanying her, the former human-turned-cat, who names her Honey, must figure out how to navigate this new world...and survive her impending death.

Some key information:

Not all information will be explicitly told. Some of it will be told through puzzles or can be extrapolated through other information.

This is a work in progress! Plot points are subject to change and the story is still being developed.

There won't be any official comic or story written. I'll do mini comics and maybe some short stories but there are no plans to make it an official thang as of now.

I miss nine people in one body, it was such a cool idea conceptually, I understand why it’s being scrapped though

i'm still fond of the idea! but i wouldn't do it with a character like maggie, i should have put more thought into the concept before i went so hard into building her up as the monstrous

here's a little concept sketch i did of the different people in maggie and their different personalities. they'd all go by the respective lives they are and i had initially planned that the way they'd lose those lives was the same way that they'd die when piloting maggotstar's body (nine and honey would have had a showdown in a burning building, how things have changed).

sorry for clogging up your inbox but I had one more very funny idea, you should take the idea of maggotstar's ninth life being a child and recycle it into, like, a literal kindergartener being sent into the body of the grizzled and wise leader of another clan. like honey goes to the other leader for advice and suddenly the leader starts talking about paw patrol. it would be very funny I think.

I still hope you keep Maggotstar though, ofc not as a main baddie but maybe as a minor baddie, I just really like their name and the idea of a Sphnyx cat WC villain is so fucking funny to me

i think i'm actually gonna go with one of my ideas i had before: a joke villain who used her connections to get her clanmates to steal coconut oil to help her with her skin problems turned into a big bad when she learns the true nature of their world and plots to thwart her demise

So do you have any straight answers on the redacted character (question)

Nothing straight about them (okay maybe like….fifty percent of them). I’ll confirm that redacted is Maggotstar! There’s been a few hints I’ve given as to what’s going on with them but some general notes on the OG character:

I big ol’ mix of inspiration from Scourge (striking design + impractical weapon), Brokenstar (eeevvviiilll clan leader that can be beaten by a kittypet apprentice) + Darktail (general sway over cats)

I know the dark brown tabby would’ve been more poignant for a wc villain but like….rule of cool, I wanna do some fun stuff lol a hairless cat villain would be ridiculous

In the story, she is the Big Bad that Frostblaze and Eagle have to fight. Leader of, uh, EevviiiilllClan. All that.

The little pouch I’ve given her? That’s a bear fang knife! (It’s a little small since I based it around how it would be human sized so I gotta fix that lol)

You have no idea how much I wanted to give her a gun just to harken back to that image of Ashfur with a gun

pondering maggotstar and an older ask about her having a dad and honestly kind of love the idea that she gets to have another reincarnator as a father figure…only to have to watch him die because her story demands it

Maybe for maggotstar you can just have one human who dies over and over again and comes back to life the way any cat spirit would? I think the story heart of a child experiencing and growing up in this brutality is still there with that. Maybe the original spirit tries taking back over (like the imposterstar situation) at some point but fails just for fun?

I want to keep that commentary on Clan culture in Maggie for sure. Whilst I do love the idea of turning her into a total goof villain, I also like the approach I took with her ninth life.

I’m thinking joke villain to serious villain pipeline for her, a goofy immature threat that, due to the circumstances of Clan culture, turns into a true threat. Her biggest inspo is Scourge so my original plan was to make a new whole fourth “imposter clan” as the books would refer to it for her but I’m considering placing her in one of the three Clans.
