A SHORT GLOSSARY OF TERMS, NAMES, ETC. these may often be mentioned by me or io. anything in here is considered canonical to io’s lore and can be disregarded if they clash with other lore. not alphabetical, but organized to keep relevant things together.

THE HOUNDS. a group of supernatural hunters that has been operating since 383 C.E. they are led by col salvienus, and have major footholds in six continents. main headquarters are located in france.

COL SALVIENUS. io’s son and the leader of the hounds, as well as CEO to venator shipping company. io and col are no longer on good terms, and have not been for centuries. col believes that io is dangerous and should be killed. he wavers from this path a lot, but always finds it again. he is not redeemable, and sees himself as a hero.

VENATOR SHIPPING COMPANY. the oldest shipping company in the world, and created by col. he is the current CEO. azzy is his COO.

AKA ELIJAH ‘AZZY’ ARAKAKI. publicly, azzy is the staggeringly young COO of venator shipping company. privately, he is a supernatural hunter who is second-in-command to col salvienus. while he handles a lot of the behind the scenes work, azzy is not afraid to get his hands dirty and hunt. despite being human, he is very good at holding his own against a wide variety of supernatural threats.

AKA SASKIA ROSCA. the hounds do not keep many nonhumans within their ranks, as col often uses any opportunity he can to get permanently get rid of them. saskia is one of the few, and is kept around because she’s a decently powerful witch who specializes in the trapping and siphoning of other’s magic. part of azzy's carefully selected group of hounds.

WQX 1440 BOSTON. an AM radio station with special operate-at-night privileges (clear channel). WQX boston is a herald for supernatural news around the world, and this news is only available starting at 11 PM EST. the host is very good at gathering information on supernatural events, people, and hunters. scarily good, to the point that they often tip nonhumans off about hunters who might be getting close to them. after iovita, WQX boston’s host is the hounds ‘most wanted.’

EDEN. the nighttime host of WQX boston. not much is known about them.

QUASAR, ORION, and MARS. the daytime hosts of WQX boston. not much is known about them, either. 

NO ENTRY. a private, supernatural-only club in los angeles. it is very hard to get an invite, as the owner only offers a limited number once or twice a year. each prospective patron must be thoroughly vetted beforehand, and are on probation within the club for a year. any funny business results in a lifetime ban, at best. death, at worst (thanks, bartenders).

LOUIS RUSSEL. the owner of no entry. he was once a low-level witch, but was turned into a vampire. the interesting combo has made him crave both the blood and magic of others. he rarely leaves no entry out of fear.

VENADEUS VIII. iovita’s biological father (this is unknown to them). he is a cult god of violent magic, and is known to be as cruel as he is uncaring. as dictated by his bloodline and the venadeus before him (and the venadeus before her, and so on) he is desperate for io to die and become venadeus ix.

LATONA. a witch who is just as powerful as iovita, but uses her power mostly for healing. she’s ~200 years older than iovita, and was born in roman africa. when she was married, her husband was cruel. latona created the magic to shapeshift herself into a hyena and kill him. since she still retains this secondary form, she has been known as bonebreaker in some places. found family (sister) when it comes to her relationship with io.

SABINA AMADIO. io’s biological half-sister. there is currently no knowledge on her current status - iovita doesn’t even know if she’s alive or dead. all the know is that they left her behind when they ran from home, and they feel guilt about it every day.

CELAENA and GAIUS. mater and pater, if referred to by io. long deceased. celaena is io's birth mother, and gaius is their non-biological father. due to their status as low-level magic users, they latched onto io's significant well of power when they were young, and greedily used it for their own gain.

LUCIUS SALVIENUS. col’s father and once iovita’s husband. col murdered him a long time ago and took over the group of hunters that lucius had led. lucius was more focused on peace through peaceful means. col is also focused on peace, through violent means.

WILL HOWE. another one of iovita’s past lovers. he was, most notably, a painter, and turned to it often as a form of coping. he died at sea.

AVICE GRIFFON and THE GRIFFON FAMILY. the griffons are a renowned family of witches living in england. avice griffon, in particular, is an ex of iovita’s. their relationship did not work, and both parties have very different stories about how it ended. iovita’s is the correct one, but avice’s family only heard her side, and subsequently loathes iovita.

Aircraft Crashes: accidents or murder?

The past nine decades, various fatal air crashes have spawned conspiracy theories that linger as haunting historical mysteries. Five cases produced official verdicts of criminal activity, but no suspects were ever indicted. The remainder are listed as accidents, but nagging doubts remain. These cases include:

July 4, 1923 Actor-pilot Beverly “B.H” DeLay and passenger R.I short (president of the Essandee Corporation) died while performing aerial acrobatics at Venice Beach, California. Time Magazine reported that half-inch bolts in the wings of DeLay’s aircraft had been switched with smaller bolts, causing the wings to collapse during flight. Gunshots of unknown origin had also been fired at DeLay days earlier, during a performance in Santa Monica. Journalists linked the crash to bitter litigation between DeLay and C.E Frey, a rival who claimed ownership of an airstrip purchased by DeLay in 1919. Several Frey employees were jailed for sabotaging that airfield, but no one was indicted for DeLay’s murder.

October 10, 1933 A United Airlines Boeing 247 aircraft travelling from Cleveland to Chicago crashed near Chesterton, Indiana, killing all seven persons aboard. Witnesses reported hearing a mid-air explosion at 9:15pm and watching the plane plummet into flames from 1,000 feet. Investigators from North-western University and Chicago FBI office concluded that a bomb had detonated in the plane’s baggage compartment, but no suspects were ever identified.

March 29, 1959 Barthelemy Boganda, first prime minister of the Central African Republic (C.A.R) and presumed to win election as president when France released control of his nation in 1960, died with all others aboard when his plane crashed 99 miles west of Bangui. No cause of the crash was officially determined, but suspicion of sabotage persists. On May 7, 1959, the Paris weekly L’Express reported discovery of explosive residue in the plane’s wreckage whereupon the French high commissioner banned sale of that issue in the C.A.R. In 1997 author Brian Titley suggested that Boganda’s wife, Michelle Jourdan, may have killed hi to avert divorce and collect a large insurance policy.

November 16, 1959 National Airlines Flight 967 vanished over the Gulf of Mexico with 42 persons aboard while en route from Tampa, Florida, to New Orleans. The final radar contact with Flight 967 was recorded at 12:46 am. Searchers found scattered wreckage with corpses near that point, but most of the aircraft was never recovered. Suspicion focused on passenger William Taylor, who boarded the plane with a ticket issued to ex-convict Robert Vernon Spears. Authorities surmised that Spears had tricked Taylor, a friend from prison, into boarding the plane with a bomb, thus permitting Spears to collect on a life insurance policy purchased in his name. Police later arrested Spears in Phoenix, driving a car registered to Taylor, but he subsequently vanished and was never charged with any crime pertaining to the crash.

September 18, 1961 Dag Hammarskjold, second secretary-general of the United Nations, died with 15 others when his plane crashed near Ndola, Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia), during a diplomatic tour of the strife-torn Congo. Security was tight during the tour, including use of a decoy aircraft, and Hammarskjold’s pilot filed no flight plans on the trip. Officially, the crash resulted from a pilot’s error in approaching Ndola’s airfield at the wrong altitude after nightfall. Many observers suspected a bomb or rocket attack. In August 1998, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, chairman of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, announced that recently uncovered letters implicated South African intelligence officers, Britain’s MI5, and the American CIA in Hammarskjold’s death. One letter claimed that a bomb in the plane’s wheel bay was set to explode on landing. In July 2005, Norwegian major general Bjorn Egge told the newspaper Aftenposten that an apparent bullet hole in Hammarskjold’s forehead was air brushed out of photos later published showing his corpse.

October 16, 1972 House majority leader Thomas Hale Boggs, Sr., was campaigning for Representative Nick Begich when their airplane vanished during a flight from Anchorage to Juneau, Alaska. Also aboard were pilot Don Jonz and Begich aide Russell Brown. The plane was never found. Begich won November’s election with a 56-percent margin, but his presumed death left GOP rival Don Young running unopposed in a special election to fill Begich’s vacant seat in Congress. Some conspiracy theorists link the disappearance to Bogg’s outspoken criticism of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover (who died in May 1972), but Begich’s children blamed President Richard Nixon, claiming that the crash was staged in a vain attempt to thwart congressional investigation of the unfolding Watergate scandal.

August 1, 1981 Brigadier General Omar Torrijos Herrera, “Supreme Chief of Government” for Panama since 1968, died with several others when his plane exploded in mid air during a storm. Slipshod radio coverage delayed the report of his plane’s disappearance for nearly a day, and several more days elapsed before soldiers found the wreckage. Florencio Flores succeeded Torrijos as commander of Panama’s National Guard and de facto ruler of the country.

October 19, 1986 Samora Moises Machel, president of Mozambique and leading critic of South Africa’s racist apartheid system, died with all board when his plane crashed near Mbuzini, in South Africa’s Lebombo Mountains. At the time, Machel was returning home from an international conference in Zambia. The Margo Commission, an investigate panel including representatives from several nations, blamed the crash on pilot error, a verdict flatly rejected by the governments of Mozambique and the Soviet Union Russian members of the commission filed a minority report claiming that Machel’s plane was lured off-course by a decoy radio beacon, set up by South African intelligence officers. Machel’s widow, Graca, remains convinced that was murdered. In 1998 she married then-South African president Nelson Mandela.

 August 17, 1989 General Muhammad Ziaul-Haq, ruler of Pakistan since he overthrew predecessor Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1977, died with several other generals and U.S. ambassador Arnold Raphel when their plane crashed shortly after take off from Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Witnesses reported a smooth lift off, followed by erratic flying and a steep nosedive. FBI agents called the crash accidental, but persistent conspiracy theories blame a wide range of suspects, including the CIA, Russia’s KGB, Israel’s Mossad, India’s RAW Intelligence agency, Afghan communists, ad Shi’ite Muslim separatists.

April 6, 1994 Unknown snipers shot down a government aircraft at Rwanda’s Kigali airport, killing Rwandan president Juvenal Habyarimana, President Cyprien Ntaryamira of Burundi, and all others aboard. The resultant political chaos led to full-scale genocide in Rwanda, where ruling Hutu tribesmen slaughtered rival Tutsis, and sparked civil war in Burundi.

July 19, 1994 Alas Chiricanas Flight 901 exploded while en route from Colon, Panama, to Panama City, killing all 21 persons aboard. Authorities found evidence of a bomb, blaming the crime on terrorists. Suspicion focused on Jamal Lya, the only passenger who corpse remained unclaimed after the bombing. Soon afterward, an unknown spokesperson for a group calling itself Ansar Allah (“Followers of God”) claimed credit for the attack, but investigators could find no other trace of the organization.

July 17, 1996 Trans World Airlines flight 800 left New York’s JFK Airport, bound for Paris, at 10:19pm Twelve minutes later it exploded in mid-air, killing all 230 persons aboard and littering the ocean with wreckage offshore from East Moriches, New York. Despite initial speculation of a terrorist attack, the National Transportation Safety Board issued a final report in August 2000, blaming the explosion on a presumed electrical short circuit that ignited fumes in the aircraft’s centre wing fuel tank. Meanwhile, multiple eyewitnesses on land reported seeing “a streak of light” rising from sea level toward the airliner before it exploded. Initial examination of the wreckage revealed apparent residue from three different explosive compounds, PETN, RDX, and nitro-glycerine but authorities claimed to find no evidence of impact from a rocket or missile. Some conspiracy theorists maintain that Flight 800 was shot down by terrorists, while others suggest a disastrous mistake during an offshore U.S. Navy training exercise involving surface-to-air missiles. The case is officially closed.

October 25, 2002 Minnesota senator Paul Wellstone died with seven others, including his wife and three children, when his aircraft crashed near Eveleth, Minnesota. Wellstone was near the end of his campaign for a third Senate term, his death coming 11 days before the scheduled balloting. Initial reports blamed icing of the aircraft's wing, but that suggestion was later rejected. Federal investigators finally named pilot error as the “likely” cause of the crash, claiming that deceased First Officer Michael Guess was “below average” in proficiency. In fact, Guess had been fired from two previous flying jobs for incompetence. Jim Fetzer, a philosophy professor at the University of Minnesota Duluth, published a book in 2004, blaming Wellstone’s death on unnamed members of President George W. Bush’s administration.

 July 30, 2005 Dr. John Garang De Mabior, vice president of Sudan and former head of the rebel Sudan People’s Liberation Army, died when his helicopter crashed in southern Sudan. Circumstances of the crash remain unclear, and Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni blamed “external factors” for the incident. Foreign observers note that Garang’s death helped bring an end to Sudan’s long-running civil war.

The Anurag Sagar is a volume of the "Kabir Sagar" Series ("Ocean of Kabir"), a collection of several Hindi-language volumes devoted to the teachings of Guru Kabir and Sant Dharam Das. Some Thoughts About the Origin of the Anurag Sagar (Ocean of Love)

Not sure when the Anurag Sagar first is quoted by someone in India, which would  give scholars a clue about a date of composition. Knowledge about who wrote it has become lost, perhaps even in the Kabir Panth world itself. And knowledge about the origins and date of composition has never been known by later Sant Mat paths, and fans of the book reading many centuries later. So, some reading it might just take it all literally, like some do with the Book of Genesis or other older scriptures, one of the many downsides of literalism.The Anurag Sagar is fairly late in composition I suspect, as it sums up the message of Kabir from the perspective of a very well-developed tradition, and one rather informed by other collections of Kabir texts. It reminds me of the 3rd Century C.E. Gnostic Gospel of Pistis Sophia and it's more developed or complex summing up of the meaning and teachings of Christ, and with the clear influence of other, earlier gospel material.

Anurag Sagar (the Ocean of Love) is but one volume of a larger collection known as the Kabir Sagar (Ocean of Kabir) with many more Q and A dialogue catechisms between Kabir (the Master) and Sant Dharam Das (the disciple). The Dharam Dasi Kabir Panth has a vast amount of this Kabir/Dharam Das literature. I suspect that Dharam Das Kabir Panth Gurus wrote under the pen name "Kabir" (or 'channeled' a 'Gnostic Kabir' in some cases perhaps?) over many generations. Only recently, with the publication of the Prakash Mani Gita, did Dharamdasi Gurus begin writing under their own name (Hazur Prakash Mani Naam in that case).

Russell Perkins Writes in His Introduction to the Anurag Sagar Published by Sant Bani Ashram:

"...The alert reader of Swami Ji's Sar Bachan or the books of Sant Kirpal Singh will notice many points of contact. Tulsi Sahib devoted a major portion of one of his principal books to a detailed commentary on certain aspects of the poem. Baba Jaimal Singh considered it to be the most authoritative book on the teachings of the Masters as the following account by his disciple and successor Sawan Singh shows:

"'On the fourth day I went to attend Satsang. Baba Ji [Baba Jaimal Singh] was at that time explaining the meaning of Jap Ji Sahib. Well, I started my volley of questions-so much so that the audience got tired and began to feel restless at the large number of questions I had put... Now he wanted to point out the way, but I had read Vedanta. When I read Gurbani, my opinion was different; when I read Gita my opinion was again different, and I was unable to come to a decision. At last I applied for eight days leave to enable me to study the teachings of Baba Ji. He advised me to read Kabir Sahib's Anurag Sagar. I immediately ordered eight copies of this book from Bombay so that I could also give some to my friends...

"'After several conferences with Baba Ji, I was thoroughly convinced and received initiation from him on the 15th day of October in 1894.'

"That Baba Sawan Singh continued to hold Anurag Sagar in high regard after he became Master is shown by the following account, written by one of his secretaries:

"'Hazur [Baba Sawan Singh] one day told Seth Vasdev, whose car is always at Hazur's disposal, that he should read Kabir Sahib's Anurag Sagar (The Ocean of Intense Love). Hazur said that without studying it, one cannot fully understand the difference between Kal (the negative power) and Dayal Mat (the Path of the true and Merciful God), nor can one fully grasp the teachings of Sant Mat.'" What happened to the complete overthrow of earth's present rulership and were all present governments will be overthrown and dissolved by 1914?  That is a big problem.  To explain away this major falsehood they change what the bible says.  Even changing what the bible says, this still does not negate the fact of what was explicitly stated by Jehovah's Witnesses divinely inspired leaders who were believed to be of God.  Since they are proven not of God, why are their teachings still believed?  This disproves the foundations of the religion.  That major issue aside, how do they then explain away the false teachings?  When Jesus did not show up on their date, they were forced to explain away the failure. They did this by seizing on a secondary meaning of one Greek word used in conjunction with Christ’s coming again. That word was parousia meaning “a being present, presence,” “a coming,” “an arrival.”  They would teach that Jesus did “come” and was “present” on their date, 1914, but since He did this in heaven, those on earth could not see it! His coming was conveniently invisible! All Jehovah’s Witnesses must believe this today. This particular Greek word was used in two scriptures, 2 Thessalonians 2:8 and 1 Thessalonians 3:13. It is very clear that Christ will make an “appearance” which we will all see with our own eyes at “His coming.” Not so with the deliberately altered version of the Jehovah’s Witnesses which reads, “Then indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence” (New World Translation).  Notice how the word “presence” is used instead of “coming.” It is an acceptable transla­tion from the Greek, but the presence is obviously not invisible, as the Jehovah’s Wit­nesses teach, since the whole phrase is “manifestation of his presence.” A “manifestation” comes from the root word “manifest,” which, according to the Doubleday Dictionary means, “to make plain to sight or understanding.” Ignored by the Jehovah’s Witnesses are the other Greek words used along with parousia to describe the second coming of Christ. To be really accurate we need to look at them all, not just selected, isolated scriptures that can be twisted to suit one’s preconceived ideas.  Contradicting Themselves Besides the failed prophecies and debunked divine leaders, there are other issues.

"Those" are the divinely inspired foundational Godly leaders, now being marginalized because of their disproven claims.  Here later divinely inspired foundational Godly leaders admit to the previous problem.  So, if divinely inspired foundational Godly leaders can be guilty of false prophesying, how then can you know that any divinely inspired foundational Godly leaders of the same group won't or are not currently? Because they say so?  Well, they have as well. 

1972 "Does this admission of making mistakes stamp them [Watchtower] as false prophets? Not at all, for false prophets do not admit to making mistakes." (Watchtower, Nov. 1, 1972, p. 644)  

This is a poor justification for being exactly what they admit, false prophets.  So I can blurt out any random future made up prophecy and as long as I do not admit the mistake, I am not a false prophet?

However, suddenly, there came an end to World War 1. It did not lead on, as Bible students expected, into world revolution and anarchy or the battle of Armageddon. And the sincere worshippers of Jehovah who were in the new covenant with him through his Mediator Jesus Christ, found themselves still in the flesh on the earth.
