I will never stop this

Every season I have to make a post about how indescribable D20 related grief is.

There is such a wildness to it where I feel my heart like sinking as I process it all. And like you find these beautiful stories about cycles, about loss and love and the things we do for secrets and for the things we love and the things we want. The sacrifices we're willing to make. The way war and death and grief takes people apart piece by piece and never rebuilds them. The way we are changed when we're left behind in a world without someone we thought we'd have forever. The feeling of finally having something to want, something that's yours, that's solid and something that's beginning only to have it ripped out from beneath you. The people we turn into when there is nothing to do but to run. The way fear and trauma and torment can make a person do things they wouldn't otherwise, how they influence decisions and desires and how freedom becomes a blessed commodity. The way we find that people need each other but sometimes they just can't. The way ambition blinds and ruins. The way the people who are gone leave ripples in their wake, something new as they die, something blooming from their decaying.

Like there's this deep story about the cyclical nature of the world and the way it's all so unforgiving. A narrative about how life finds a way, among the struggles of a girl who should be dead growing up too quick in a war and learning to want instead of just need. A plot about a man who loses everything trying to find something to prove that there is a purpose to his torment, that he can be saved.

And it's beautiful

And then you have to explain to your friends that you're crying because the radish grandpa and the chili pepper satanist died.

Like how the fuck am I meant to explain the profound grief of a mango? Or the way that ambition has absolutely crushed a pastrami sandwich who, even more than greatness, seemed to want love. The way greasy provolone cheese tells a story of regret and atoning for one's mistakes.

It's funny how Akechi had resentment, envy and love for Joker as well and wanted to stay dead. But Maruki thought "Two for the price of one" with both Sumire and Akechi.

Maruki never went into Goro's head as far as we know, at least not in depth. But he knows that Akira cares about Goro, and that this could be used as leverage (Maruki can say he didn't intend for it to be blackmail all he wants but WHAT ELSE WAS BRINGING AKECHI BACK FOR). Maruki holds a sort of respect for Akira and wanted him to come over to his side willingly. Goro came back not because Maruki thought it would be what's best for Goro, but because he knew that's what Akira wanted.

while I'm delirious from my cold it occurred to me to create an au like if glee characters were streamers/youtubers:

- santana would be a criticism youtuber with gameplay in the background who always talks about controversies and things like that. A.

- quinn might be a game streamer, i see her playing puzzle games or RPGs. also according to a certain person she would be a lol player, which may be a possibility.

- brittany would be a nintendo youtuber, like most of her videos are playing animal crossing or kirby

- rachel would have a channel about musicals, movies and series where she would also criticize. she would probably live fighting with wantana. she would have an alternative channel where she would upload games but she is not that good at playing, I imagine a scene where they would send her to play fnaf and she would suffer horribly.

- blaine gives me true crime youtuber vibes.

- kurt would make videos of him putting on makeup while telling storytimes, occasionally he would play a game that was recommended to him.

- finn would be a streamer of shooter games like cod or halo. i don't see any other future. he would live in controversies because he doesnt know how to express himself well WISKSKS

I feel disgusted with everything I read, hear and watch

I can never trust hundreds of content creators who I watched and read and liked art of

It’s gotten to the point I refuse to check social media for content creators I like because they might be cheering for my death

I feel guilty listening to any music not in Hebrew because I don’t know what the artists have said and I don’t want to look

I’m scared of finding any new people or shows to watch

Everyday I block yet another creator who prided themselves on inclusivity and progressivism and yet doesn’t offer that to Jews or Israelis

I’ve left so many forums and discords and deleted so much social media

how will I ever return from this? Will I ever be able to watch YouTube, or read books, or listen to music or read webcomics ever again without thinking about potential horrible things the creators have said?

if these people say their spaces are for everyone to be safe in, why do I feel like I’ll die if I say where I live?

Do I even have a future?

Does the future even want me to be in it?
