We are incredibly excited and PROUD to announce that our VERY special manx kitten, Hemmed, has been adopted! This morning our dedicated and wonderful volunteer, Lisa A, set off with her daughter, Valerie, to Tennessee. Hemmed's adopter knows all about Manx Syndrome kitties since she recently lost hers. When she saw Hemmed online, she knew she just had to have her. We set up a Zoom video call so the adopter could see Hemmed and have a face to face conversation with her foster. She quickly confirmed her love for this little girl and asked "when can I get her?!". We're so lucky to have volunteers dedicated to our mission and ready to make these outcomes happen. Our family just got a little bigger, stronger, and even more loving thanks to Lisa, Valerie, and Hemmed's new mommy. Special shout out to Hemmed's foster for caring for her this past month. Putting diapers on kittens isn't the easiest task. Her dedication to making sure Hemmed had a comfy life outside the shelter while being treated for her urinary tract infection and cleaning up the mess created by life as an incontinent kitty, made all the difference.
