Wait, I just saw your reblog, what do you mean there's been no official Lestappen hug?

Those two basically eye-fuck each other on a regular basis and have zero personal space when it comes to each other, how is that even possible?

I had to go back and check my recent posts because so many of my reblogs are queued and I can't for the life of me remember what I've queued.

But as far as photo/video evidence go, we still haven’t seen an official Lestappen hug. The closest they've gotten to an actual hug is this absolute fucking travesty that has haunted me for the past 4+ years, which @thearchercore talked about not too long ago.

To be fair, it's no wonder they still haven’t hugged properly when their last attempt was that off-the-charts awkward.

"Well, hello to you too, Daniel," Charles replies with a roll of his eyes. He holds up the flowers. "I came to see how Max is doing. But it seems I came at the wrong time?"

Now it's Daniel's turn to roll his eyes. "Yeah, kind of. But only because he's a bitch." The last words are shouted over his shoulder in the vague direction of Max, and even though Charles can't hear or see an answer, he imagines Max flipping Daniel off on the other side of the wall. It's somewhat confirmed when he hears Max's voice. 

"That's only because —"

"No! You don't get to say anything!" Daniel's booming voice interrupts Max's complaint. It startles Charles. He has never seen the Australian angry, let alone furious. He gulps as Daniel turns to him again. "I'm leaving before I knock him out, and believe me, he deserves it. He’s all yours."

Since I've had this blog for a couple of weeks now, I figured it's about time to make a little introduction/overview post to pin.

As you can maybe guess, my name is Marie, I'm 20 years old and my raging ADHD got me into F1 around Christmas time 2023.

I'm a McLaren girlie, hook line and sinker, which you'll probably notice by the amount of orange hearts I tend to use 🧡 I occasionally live comment my thoughts about races and document my hopes and frustration about McLaren too.

Unsurprisingly, my favourite driver is Lando, but Oscar is only marginally behind. Others who have a special place in my heart are Alex, Carlos, Charles and Max.

Which brings us nicely to Lestappen ❤️💙

I've done some translating over the past and will certainly continue doing, which you can find on my AO3.

I'm also cooking up some fics of my own, which I'll link here, once I actually muster up the courage to post it.
