Some headshots of what I'd think the Mitchells would look like a few years into the future, with a few OCs scrambled in.
As this is for a project, these likely won't be the final designs for them, but I'm actually quite liking some of the designs.

Movie #10 of 2024: The X Files
I've been watching the series on Hulu and they remastered it for widescreen t.v.'s and some of the framing is hilarious when they block the actors super close together in the center of the screen.
The first three seasons are fantastic. My favorite episode is probably "Squeeze" which includes snap crackling pop dialog from Mulder like, "Is there anyway I can get it off my fingers quickly without betraying my cool exterior?" [shakes hand wildy]
My other favorite aspect of the early seasons includes on location shooting in Vancouver so nearly every episode they're in a forest. This dynamic led to magnificent storytelling decisions facilitated by editing such as Mulder knocking on Scully's door and handing her a ticket because they've got to get on a plane to leave D.C. and fly to Washington state. Smash cut to Mulder and Scully in a 1994 Ford Taurus driving INTO DANGER (a forest). Because something bad and scary happened there (forest bad)!
Oh yeah, they also made this dumb movie at some point in between seasons. Duchovny and Anderson exude tiredness as they over and under emote their way through this oddly paced nothingburger of a movie that serves as a way to kill the one cool old english guy and doesn't make a whole lotta sense continuity wise. And then they've gotta get right back to work on the next season. It's fine.

The second season of Danny Phantom continues the emotional and exciting adventures of the main character. It is packed with action, humor and exploration of more complex themes. Character development and raised stakes add depth to the story. While there are slight flaws in some episodes, overall this season is a great addition to the first and will appeal to fans of the series.
My rating: 8/10

Could I humbly offer two of my favorites for the brackets? First, Servant of God Thea Bowman, who was a delightful soul and took the USCCB to task for racism (the speech is on YouTube and it’s electrifying). Also, St. Mark Ji Tianxing. He was a lifelong opium addict who never gave up on his faith although he despaired of ever going to heaven, and was eventually martyred. Anyway I love both of them a lot and also this is a cool project thank you for working on it :)
OF COURSE YOU CAN OFFER FAVORITES
SERVANT OF GOD SISTER THEA BOWMAN WAS AN AMAZING HUMAN BEING
And of course St Mark Ji Tianxing!!!! He's heating up in the rankings - let's hope he makes it to the bracket!!!!!

Most Anticipated LGBTQ+ Middle Grade Fiction: July-December 2022
The Language of Seabirds by Will Taylor (July 19th) Jeremy is not excited about the prospect of spending the summer with his dad and his uncle in a seaside cabin in Oregon. It’s the first summer after his parents’ divorce, and he hasn’t exactly been seeking alone time with his dad. He doesn’t have a choice, though, so he goes… and on his first day takes a walk on the beach and finds himself…

Man in a Suitcase: The Sitting Pigeon (1.2, ITC, 1967)
"Not like your country I'm afraid, sir. No banging away with guns."
"Well, I'm for peace and quiet myself."
#man in a suitcase#the sitting pigeon#itc#1967#classic tv#gerry o'hara#edmund ward#richard bradford#george sewell#robin bailey#lois daine#james grout#mark eden#joe melia#sean lynch#david garfield#garfield morgan#carol cleveland#peter burton#tom bowman#the 15th episode produced but for unknown reasons shunted to the number 2 spot for transmission (Pixley doesn't elaborate)#perhaps it's the impressive amount of location work again‚ or a solid script that has McGill reluctantly protecting George Sewell's#miserable coward of a grass. the trio of gangsters of which Sewell is the weak link are clearly modeled on the Krays (certainly the two#elder bros seen only in photo) who were still free men at time of broadcast (like these fictional villains‚ they'd be arrested for a#gangland murder in 68). Sewell and Bailey were both fresh from supporting roles in The Power Game‚ tho they share no scenes here (perhaps#they don't in TPG? i honestly can't remember). Sewell spoke warmly of Bradford in later interviews and appears to have had a positive#working relationship with the star. Lynch is very clearly dubbed‚ having perhaps struggled with the scouse accent his character has#actually Garfield looks to have been dubbed in post too‚ but possibly by himself (it sounds like him) picking up some awkward lines#Grout and Eden are solid support as cops and it's notable just how negative the ep's portrayal of the police is: they're heavy handed#bullies who threaten and blackmail McGill into taking the job‚ and apparently have more in common with the gangsters than our hero
