Work Description: Marvel Art Party (Group Offering from 8 Artists + bonus) We are offering art from eight individual artists, all members of the Marvel Art Party Discord server: - amberdreams - rufferto - magpiemurder - sweatypeaches - heyboy - maichan - helene - amadness2method - call_me_kayyyyy (Bonus artist offering) You get to choose 1-3 characters, 1-3 prompts, and the highest rating level you are comfortable with. Each artist will then work independently and interpret one character and one prompt in their own style (this will be a discussion- we won’t just choose a character and prompt without talking with you about what you want). Over the next year, you will receive eight unique pieces of art and a bonus pet offering (delivered digitally). Call_me_kayyyy will only be drawing a Marvel pet as a bonus offering. Example: If you pick Bucky as the character, you can also pick an animal character such as Jeff the Land Shark as the pet. Note that this auction is for art of a single character per artwork, not a ship. Examples of prompts you might choose include: A pinup style pose, an illustration of a character from a fic, a movie scene, an AU, a specific setting, a specific activity, a specific emotion, etc. If you are interested in a character or prompt that might be seen as problematic, please send us an email to double check that we can draw it. The diversity of artists means you will receive art in a wide variety of styles and ratings (up to the highest rating you request).

“Thor et.al. Pen, Tombow brush, pen, and India ink. 11 x 17. 2023.

Thor and characters I created during my time writing and drawing the book. One of a series of Thor drawings I've done for charity auctions. Not much of a series yet. This is only the second auction piece although I've drawn three drawings based on this composition. It'll be auctioned at the NYCCon this weekend to raise funds for St. Jude's Hospital.

Top to bottom - the Thor Frog, Beta Ray Bill, Kurse, Lorelei, and Malekith the Accursed. The background is the minion level of the Time Variance Authority. I introduced the TVA in Thor although I didn't draw the minions until I was working on the FF. At least that's how I remember it. But I thought they'd make nice wallpaper here, an idea inspired by a conversation with my Son-in-Law. Thanks, Bryant.

The TVA have also upgraded their computers. Back in 1991 or so, they were using older models more or less like some old Apple versions. Now, they've gone to flat screens. :-)”

Work Description: A hand-sewn stuffed soft figure based on your favorite Marvel character. The figure will be roughly 8-10 inches/ 20-25 cm tall, made of fleece and felt in a smoke- and cat- (but not dog-) free home. The figures are basically two-dimensional, but finished on both sides. The winner can choose from one of my existing designs (see examples), or request a new design by providing at least 4 reference images, one of which should be full body. For new designs, the winner will review a sketch of the figure before it is cut and sewn. If the bidding goes over $40, I will include a second figure that the bidder chooses from my existing design list. If the bidding goes over $60 - I will include a third figure that can be either a custom design or chosen from my existing design list. Additional increases of $20 will result in an additional figure for a maximum of five figures total, two of which may be custom designs. If bids exceed $100 - I will offer additional hand crafted items, such as Marvel-themed felt gingerbread holiday ornaments, Marvel-fabric face masks or charging cord organizers using Marvel-themed fabric. Shipping will be included if the bidder is US-based, otherwise I will negotiate the cost of shipping with the bidder. Turnaround time for the figures will be between four and six weeks after first contact with the bidder with an additional two weeks added per figure.
