Gackt - Vanilla 1999
Gackt is a Japanese singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and actor. He has been active since 1993, first as the frontman of the short-lived independent band Cains:Feel, and in 1995-1998 the visual kei rockband Malice Mizer, before starting his solo career in 1999. He has released nine studio albums and, with forty-eight singles released, holds the male soloist record for most top ten consecutive singles in Japanese music history. Besides being established in the modern entertainment industry and a pop icon, Gackt's music has been used as theme songs for video games, video game films, anime series/films, and television series. In addition to his music career, Gackt has acted and voice acted, including characters inspired by him in video games like Bujingai and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. He also provided the voice samples for the Vocaloid software Gackpoid.
Gackt released his second single "Vanilla", from his first full-length studio album Mars (2000), on August 11, 1999. "Vanilla" is one of his most popular and commercially successful songs. It peaked at number four on the Oricon Singles Chart and charted for ten weeks. With 248,360 copies sold, it was the 89th best-selling single of the year, and it was certified Gold by RIAJ. The single was later re-released in 2002. It charted for six weeks, reaching number twelve. "Vanilla" is a favourite among fans, particularly because of a live performance from Gackt's Mars tour, which contained a large amount of fanservice with Masa, his guitarist at the time.
"Vanilla" received a total of 72,5% yes votes!

There is khair behind everything.
“Assalamualaikum! Do you want me to help you take the pictures?”
“Waalaikumussalam! No worries it’s fine! Thank you.”
Ibunya menjawab dengan senyum dan hangat.
“MashaAllah it is so nice to see you. There is going to be a Jummah prayer here, if you’d like to join.”
“We are heading to the masjid actually, we heard it’s pretty close.”
“Ahh yes, it is walking distance, it’s a beautiful masjid, and with this beautiful weather you should definitely go there.”
“I am always inspired by my patients and their family. You guys are the reason we are doing research.”
“Thank you! Thank you for doing this.”
Tiap keluarga pasien berkata demikian, selalu membuatku merinding. Fulfilling and rewarding.
“InshaAllah, may Allah give you strength and may Allah make it easy.” Aku mendoakan mereka.
Tapi jawaban sang ibu, membuatku berkaca-kaca:
“Aamiin. It’s okay! We believe that there is always khair in everything.”
Deg.
"We have eeman, we'll be okay.”
Dan kalian tau apa? Beliau dengan senyumnya berkata:
"The dunya is temporary anyways.”

tentu ini gak definitif dan bisa berubah lagi karena belajar gak ada habisnya, aku juga gak ngerasa kalo ini macem "godly tips gweh yang paling bener sejagat raya" tapi i think some people would be interested karena alasan di atas????? yea also i just like to yap so oof

Hidupku seru sekali, seperti marathon aku selalu mengibaratkan. You should defeat your negative thought to continue the game.
Ah, jadi begini proses bertumbuh? sakit sih tapi silver liningnya aku jadi semakin terampil melihat sebaga sesuatunya dari helicopter viewku sendiri.
Cerita dibalik foto diatas. Sarapan nasi warteg, pulang makan gorengan. Muntah di pom bensin Temanggung. Tidur di pom bensin Magelang. Sampai kosan jam 22.00.

Cut Songs
Just to give you an idea of how much work I put into my Cornelius x Franny playlist, here is a list of songs that were cut from it, with explanations as to why. 1. Eraser Girl by Maretu - Oh man, this song is dark... Before I had a concrete theme, I had a lot of "dark love" songs on there, this being one of them. This song in particular ends with both partners committing suicide together. 2. In The Bedroom, Royal Suite, Secret Grotto, Private Table, and Rooftop Lounge from HuniePop - Cut for one reason... THEY'RE NOT ON SPOTIFY. It sucks because these songs are PERFECT. UGH. 3. Boom Boom Boom by KIRA - Couldn't make it fit... unfortunately. Real sad because this a song you could easily imagine Neil and Franny singing... well, vocaloid versions of them, ha ha. 4. Saw and Pendulum by (?) ft. Hatsune Miku - Another dark song I cut once I found a theme. It's a yandere song, and like most yandere songs, someone got murdered. 5. Games by KIRA - Another one I just couldn't make fit. I do plan on doing something with this one, though. 6. Hot Milk by MentaiRocker - Cut because it was too hardcore of a sound for the playlist, and I had settled on the one rock song I was gonna put on the playlist. 7. SYMBIOTIC by Starset - Same as above. 8. Saccharine by Jazmin Bean - This was more of a "love is disgusting" type of song. It was cut very early on. 9. Soap by Melanie Martinez - The vibe didn't quite fit for this one. 10. stillness in woe by Purity Ring - Cut because the lyrics were too cryptic, as well as too "ethereal" sounding. 11. Holy Lance Explosion Boy by rerulili - Not really a love song... more like a "we fucked up so now we gotta stay together" type of song. 12. Two Faced Lovers by wowaka (rip) - Again, wasn't really a love song. Just a dark story about two "lovers." 13. SuperNova by Spott - Because breakcore definitely didn't fit the vibe... oh well... 14. Cosmos Love by Lexie - It's not on Spotify :( 15. Darling by BlueBrony - Also not on Spotify... ugh. The good ones never are. 16. Veni Vidi Vici (Magic) by Scraton - Cut last minute because I couldn't make it fit anywhere. But I also realized that the filter on the samples makes it sound like Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin' is singing it. 17. Fluffy Chocolate Bunnies by Mr. Sunset - Not. On. Spotify! UGGHHH! That song is so good, too!!!! 18. Breathing Space by DJT and Rusyd Rosman (Shuffle Horse Remix) - Say it with me everybody... it's not on Spotify... 19. Star Lily Dance Performance by MASA WORKS DESIGN - It's part of the Onibi series, and if you know what that means because vocaloid was a part of your childhood like me, then you know exactly why it was cut... 20. Brass Noise Flamenco by MASA WORKS DESIGN - I realized Cornelius and Franny ain't like that, so it was cut. 21. Sick Sick Sick by Pinnochio-P - Another one that was cut last minute because I couldn't quite make it fit. 22. Jenny by Studio Killers - ... I can't not see this as a lesbian love song, I'm sorry y'all. 23. Kuru Kuru Pa! by Lamaze-P - Because I'm gonna make a stand alone piece for this song. I'm inspired, lol. 24. Hole-dwelling by Kikuo - Too depressing for the theme I was going for. 25. But I Like It by Lauren Sanderson - The sound was too hardcore for the theme, same as the others above. 26. La La Lainey by Forever The Sickest Kids - Cut because it's more of a Cornelius x Lizzy song, to be honest... 27. 1980s Horror Film by Wallows - Ah, the good ol' bait and switch. Unfortunately, not good for the playlist. 28. Butterfly's Repose by Zabawa - WAAAAAY too sad for the theme. I ain't tryna make anybody cry. 29. Lemonade by Nicole Dollanganger - Too dark. Ends with murder... 30. Heart Shaped Bed by Nicole Dollanganger - Cut mostly because I have an image idea for this one.
I listen to way too much angst... But hey, all that angst can make for some cool images! Eventually.

I’m back from Mexico now… and had the most magnificent time in Puebla! Only a two hour drive from Mexico City, Puebla is a peaceful artisan and food city famed for its Baroque buildings… … as well as this masterwork of Japanese minimalist architecture (above): Toyo Ito’s Baroque art museum, Museo Internacional del Barroco! Read on for my food / art / shopping guide to Puebla, Mexico. My favorite mems include strolling around the artist markets, eating street foods like quesadillas and tacos, and chilling poolside at Cartesiano spa wellness hotel overlooking the old Catedral. (Gracias Canirac Nacional and our new friends Maria and Miguel for making these travel experiences possible.) Puebla is only a two hour car ride from CDMX, making it a sweet escape from hectic city life for a few days. Treat yourself to a stay at Cartesiano Boutique & Wellness Hotel like I did. You get access to spa facilities and a quiet rooftop pool overlooking this colonial era church. Cartesiano Hotel is located in a former convent and has a stunning garden with a labyrinth! Guests can take part in free wellness classes; we loved trying a morning moving meditation session. Puebla’s colorful streets have a unique feel because of its history. The Spanish founded the city in 1531, and the architecture is a mix of European Baroque and Indigenous styles. Puebla is also the only major colonial city in Mexico that was not built at the site of a pre-Columbian settlement. Puebla is also home to a masterpiece of Japanese minimalist architecture… Museo Internacional del Barroco! Architect Toyo Ito’s design looks like curved white concrete sails mirrored by water — a contemporary take on the 17th century art displayed inside. Built in 2016, the Baroque International Museum’s maze of rooms highlights the contrast of light and dark (chiaroscuro) that fascinated Baroque artists. Watch my IG video to see me exploring Toyo Ito’s architecture! A swirling courtyard fountain mimics the dramatic flow of water found in many 17th century works. I was enthralled by Toyo Ito’s use of light and curved concrete elements. Inside the museum, you can see works of art by Pueblan artists, as well as impressive collections of Baroque works. Come at golden hour and stay until evening to see the white sails aglow. The whirlpool in the center of the courtyard is mesmerising — possibly my favorite space in the museum. Toyo Ito’s wave-like shapes also pay homage to Italian architect Francesco Borromini’s facades. Museo Barroco in Puebla is a must for those who love classic art and Japanese minimalism. The moon came out to play… At night, the structures are illuminated with light. I’m so happy I got to see Toyo Ito’s Baroque museum in Puebla. Check out my Instagram @lacarmina reel for a walk-through of the architecture. I worked up an appetite, so it was taco time. Maria took us to her favorite street vendors — and Taqueria Las Ahumaderas served one of the absolute best tacos I’ve ever had. See how the chef “werked” the grill with a hairdryer! The chopped beef was melt-in-your-mouth juicy, topped with guacamole and salsa… I could have eaten six of these carne asada tacos. We also tried pork carnitas tacos and unique Pueblan versions, arabes and orientale (pork with Middle Eastern spices, served in pita bread). The next day, we headed to Mercado Cholula (located near Cholula Pyramid, the largest in the world by volume). Here I had the best quesadilla of my life: a freshly made blue corn tortilla with stringy cheese, squash blossoms and huitlacoche truffles! Cholula Market is a well-run and friendly place to try local specialties like stews and memelas poblanas (thicker masa tortillas with beans and other toppings). You can also shop for all types of produce and ingredients, as well as healing herbs — I left with a sachet of Mexican oregano. The friendly vendors hold out samples for you to taste: Puebla’s yellow peaches were scrumptious! One of the reasons I wanted to visit Puebla was for its famous talavera, a pottery tradition that dates back to the mid 16th century. You can purchase talavera at various shops and markets in the city, but I wanted to visit one of the most well-regarded producers: Talavera de la Reyna, not far from Cholula Market. I knew I was in the right place as soon as I saw this wall of black and white skulls! My goal was to purchase a Mexican talavera skull for my apartment redecoration project (which I will reveal soon). So many one-of-a-kind handmade skulls to choose from… Talavera de la Reyna has the highest quality ceramics, from sculptures to plates and vases. The elaborate process includes two kiln firings and hand painting, and can take months to complete. Of course, I had to take home one of the skulls (a tribute to Mexican Day of the Dead culture) – can you guess which one? If you visit Puebla, you can’t miss Talavera de la Reyna’s showroom and art gallery. There’s no better place to learn about the ancient ceramic tradition and find an original piece. I’m all about hands-on activities, and was delighted to take a Mexican cooking lesson. I learned how to make mole poblano from scratch using pre-Hispanic methods in the home of Maria and Miguel’s mother! We gathered in her classic kitchen and prepped a dozen ingredients for the spicy, earthy, chocolate-y sauce, which is one of my favorite Mexican foods. A delight to then share the mole with their family along with Pueblan dishes like chalupas (a crisp tortilla with toppings). We also had a meal to remember at El Mural de los Poblanos, known as the best traditional restaurant in Puebla. How lovely is this open space with a mural and skylight. I devoured three types of mole on duck enchiladas, as well as fresh salads made with papalo, a peppery green leaf from this region. I came across a witchcraft themed cafe as well, Home Witch Home, which is done up in Halloween decor for “foolish mortals.” More authentic are the smiling sugar skulls and La Catrinas found at Perros del Mal, a buzzing mezcal bar with an impressive selection of mezcals, including artisanal versions from the Puebla area. I had a mezcal cocktail in a talavera skull mug and shared modern Mexican plates at Attico 303, a hip restaurant in the historic district overlooking the grand Catedral de Puebla (a UNESCO heritage site). The perfect spot for dinner with a view of the central plaza. You can’t leave Puebla without doing some serious shopping. I dropped pesos at La Cosmetiqueria, an all-natural soap and skincare store near the historic center. I found snake and pumpkin soaps for less than a dollar each (perfect gifts for Goths) and got a creamy avocado moisturizer. “You can sit with us,” Puebla Goth edition! While there aren’t really any Gothic attractions here, you’ll find friendly skeletons all throughout the city. I browsed the many market stalls that sold art and souvenirs, but preferred the higher quality items found in artisan boutiques, particularly in the Barrio del Artista (Artist Quarter). Dancing calaveras and devil masks — Mexican culture has plenty of spooky elements! My face looked like these happy skulls as I wandered around the small artisan workshops and saw them at work in the Artist’s Barrio. Don’t you want to visit Puebla, Mexico after seeing how my trip went down? Gracias to everyone who made these travels possible. (Please click on the Puebla story highlight on my Instagram @lacarmina for more tips!) I leave you with rainbow sugar skulls and a few press / writing updates. Huffington Post interviewed me about travel JOMO, or the joy of missing out when on vacation. I told them: “I’m a fan of the Chinese ‘lying flat’ movement, which is about living simply and opting out of the socially conditioned trappings of hustle and work culture.” Read more of my thoughts on Huffington Post. WIRED Magazine also interviewed this Goth gal about how to keep up a skincare / beauty routine while traveling! Of course, I went on about sun protection… See the article “How to Pack Your Beauty Routine for Travel” on Wired. Finally, I received an assignment to write Eater’s Best Restaurants guide to Osaka, Japan. See all my food and travel writing for Eater national here. Thanks for supporting my journalism, and as always, you can catch up on my current travels and fixations on IG @LaCarmina! Source link

Apa aku sudah berjalan terlalu jauh?
Kamis, 18 Juli 2024
tadi juga sempat ngobrol sama bg peter, temen kerja disini soal beberapa hal. topik pembicaraannya lumayan ngebuka pikiran. makasih bg udah mau sharing
on another random minutes tadi juga ga sengaja buka youtube dan nonton video review buku. bukan totally review juga tapi lebih ke ngasih pandangan dia soal buku yg dia baca. the main topic is about stoicism. kayaknya menarik buat di baca. tadi udah cari juga bukunya di amazon, udh dapat free sample nya juga di kindle. habis ini mau baca sebentar hehehe
22.42 PM; udah malam bgt ini dan besok masih harus kerja. ada beberapa pendingan kerjaan yang di minggu ini belum selesai. so, the plan for tomorrow is bangun pagi biar bisa ke kantor lebih cepat dan semoga bisa lebih produktif.
saat paragraf ini ditulis rasanya perasaan udah agak mendingan. kayaknya aku cuma butuh wadah untuk menuangkan atau menyimpan keluh kesah kehidupan. makasih ya udah mau baca sampai akhir. semoga hari esokmu menyenangkan :)

These snacks, characterized by their savory taste profiles, include products such as potato chips, corn and tortilla chips, nuts and seeds, popcorn, pretzels, and a variety of other regional or specialty items. The market is driven by factors such as the global expansion of retail infrastructure, particularly in developing countries, and changing consumer preferences towards more convenient and tasty snack options. However, it also faces challenges from health concerns related to ingredients like salt, sugar, and artificial additives, prompting a shift towards healthier alternatives. The dynamic nature of the market offers significant opportunities for innovation, particularly in the creation of nutritious snacks that cater to the growing demand for wellness-oriented food choices. Despite the competition from local manufacturers, the savory snacks market continues to evolve, adapting to meet diverse consumer needs across different regions.

Product Analysis:
In 2023, Potato Chips dominated the Savory Snacks market, capturing over 68.2% of the share. These thinly sliced, deep-fried or baked potato slices are seasoned with various flavors, offering a crispy texture and a wide range of taste options. Corn & Tortilla Chips, made from corn masa, are popular for pairing with dips like salsa and guacamole. Nuts & Seeds provide a crunchy, nutrient-rich option, available in varieties like peanuts, almonds, and cashews. Popcorn, heated until fluffy and crunchy, is often enjoyed with salt or seasonings, sometimes coated with caramel or cheese. Pretzels, baked dough twisted into knots, are typically salted and crispy. Other savory snacks include items like pita chips, vegetable chips, and regional or specialty snacks.
By Flavor:
In 2023, Barbeque flavors led the savory snacks market with over 35% share, beloved for their smoky, tangy taste. Spice flavors also captured a significant share, appealing to those who enjoy a fiery twist. Salty flavors remained a classic favorite, while Plain/Unflavored options continued to attract consumers preferring simplicity. Other flavors added diversity with unique and innovative combinations, catering to niche preferences and adventurous snackers. Barbeque flavors, however, reigned supreme, captivating taste buds and dominating the market.

Drivers:
The global expansion of the retail industry significantly boosts sales of savory snacks. In developed regions like the US, Canada, the UK, France, and Australia, supermarkets and hypermarkets play a crucial role in delivering these snacks to consumers. Similarly, developing nations such as India, China, and Brazil are seeing a surge in modern retail formats as retailers invest heavily to meet the growing demand for snack products. This expanding retail infrastructure provides a significant opportunity for manufacturers and suppliers to increase their market reach in these fast-growing economies.
Restraints:
Health concerns about ingredients commonly used in savory snacks, such as wheat, corn, vegetable oil, salt, sugar, and artificial additives, are a major restraint on market growth. These ingredients, while essential for taste and production, raise health concerns, prompting consumers to opt for healthier alternatives. As health awareness increases and regulatory bodies encourage healthier eating habits, the market faces challenges in meeting consumer demands for nutritious options while maintaining taste.
Opportunity:
The shift in dietary habits towards snacking, driven by globalization and changing lifestyles, presents a significant opportunity for healthy snacks. With a growing awareness of the impact of food choices on health, consumers are increasingly seeking snacks that offer essential nutrition to reduce the risks of chronic illnesses. This demand for healthier snack options reflects a broader trend towards wellness-oriented lifestyles, prompting manufacturers to innovate and introduce nutritious snacks that cater to these evolving preferences.
Challenges:
The growing demand for ready-to-eat snacks has intensified production needs, especially in fragmented markets like Asia and Europe. Local manufacturers, often using lower-cost equipment, produce snacks infused with local flavors and spices, which are priced lower and cater to specific regional tastes. This creates stiff competition for established brands, challenging them to maintain product quality and innovate to meet local consumer preferences. Navigating this competition requires larger companies to continuously enhance their strategies, product offerings, and understanding of local tastes to maintain a competitive edge in these fragmented markets.

Salah satu playlistnya adalah Higher Ground oleh The Lost and Found Workshop.
Hehehe.
