urge to have character choose death (consciously or not) due to a heavy breakdown (yours or not) because I'm an angsty shit
vs
not wanting to lose like 20-25 levels worth of progress this loop (I am So Close to max level I can practically taste it aaaaaaa)
FIGHT!
(isat spoilers, found it in act 2 but that's because I'm vigilant about things sometimes)
for context I caught bonnie eavesdropping and stared at the pineapple option afterwards for about 5 seconds before coming to my senses
If I wasn't going for the OP achievement early so I didn't have to do it later I 100% would've though
...
in other news I have a new idea as to how the loops start to mesh together somewhat for ACOH, and it very much directly involves this
I feel very bad for Bonnie though cause depending on how much of this idea I use they will feel Very Guilty for two of Siffrin's deaths and not just the tear one...
anyway, actually explaining my idea here!
So, we've seen how the deaths make everyone loop back, it's still gonna play out almost exactly the same with that. And the effort of the timeline to keep your equipment with you while also not breaking people's minds is still there, that's just the timeline fixing itself.
But what about the points like with Bonnie, where you go back a bit to prevent that?
What if it wasn't solely caused by [??????? ??????], but also something fucky with the others' memories?
After all, I don't think Bonnie-who-remembers-accidentally-pushing-Siffrin-into-a-tear would accept saying some of the things they did in this situation
(source: similar breakdown at similar age, albeit over something very stupid and with a very different reaction, would not have said some of the things I did if I knew the world wasn't ending)
and then Siffrin takes the pineapple and fucking perishes. Not Sure whether it'll be it slipping their mind entirely (previously they were hyperaware that "pineapple? kills me maybe??"), brain fog mixed with guilt over the situation (and the fact that it won't just magically get that much better despite the rewind), or just straight up "I made them irrevocably upset this time, let's start this over entirely"
I am very much unintentionally traumatizing the fuck out of Bonnie here. Why is there so much opportunity to do this. Is it going to get worse. Bonnie can't look Siffrin in the eyes their next loop until they all nearly go through the hallway without dealing with the boulder first.
I was fully intending for Isabeau and Siffrin to be the first whose loops cross but this is an Opportunity if you can't tell.
Depending on how I play with this idea either Bonnie will talk with someone (likely Odile) about the loops (!!!!) or I'll keep with Isa and Sif being the first to talk together about it

I have two achievements left on ISAT, all chats with Loop and max out the entire party's levels. I... wanna give myself some time before I play this again, I think. It's a lot to process, but I definitely wanna play it again some day.

Philippines Win the"The Gathering of Rugby XIIINations Tournament"
[Thailand, Bangkok,] - [10/11/2017] - [Body of Press Release]
As the Rugby League world focuses on the World Cup being played in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Hungary and the Philippines travelled to Thailand to compete in the “The Gathering of Rugby XIII Nations Tournament”! A reminder that “The Greatest Game of All” is played in more than the 14 countries present at the World Cup.
On the 5th of November at the Mahasarakham Institute of Sporting Excellence stadium the Philippines National Rugby League (PNRL) national team the Tamaraws played their first match against Hungary’s national team the Bulls. With the Philippines Bovinae overwhelming its Hungarian counterpart 72 – 0.
PNRL Head Coach Arwin Marcus reporting:
“Every player stood up to the occasion, I was very pleased with our defence, to keep Hungary scoreless shows how committed our players were for each other, Hungary had plenty of opportunities to score but we kept turning up for each other”.
“I thought our halves Sheedy and Russell really steered us perfectly around the paddock, it’s really hard to just single out one player but Richard Goodwin was outstanding from fullback, he is just a great competitor”
More Philippines Rugby League history was made at “The Gathering of Rugby XIII Nations Tournament”, with local Philippines, Manila Storm players James Osias and Al Del Castillo Tesoro proudly making their International debut.
PNRL Vice President and Co-Captain Paul Sheedy stating:
“The definite stand-out play of the night belonged to James Osias who made his debut alongside powerhouse front rower Al Tesoro Jr who both became the first players selected out of our Estepa Elefante Cup competition in the Philippines. James bagged the last try of the night and his raw emotion after scoring was a scene that needed to be witnessed to capture how much it means to represent the Philippines”.
Manila Storm Al Del Castillo Tesoro said of the tour:
(This was a totally new and different experience for me since I played alongside veterans. Their level of professionalism and respect can’t compare to the others. I admit that I struggled learning their plays since they were new to me. Their standard was high requiring strength and agility. I learnt everyday along the tour. My team mates were kind and accommodating to debutants and thanks for my kuya's patience. I learnt a lot from them and I will treasure the memories until I hang up my boots).
Manila Storm James Osias reflected on his first try for the Philippines:
“unang international score ko ay napaka emotional napaluha ako sumigaw ng buong puso na pinoy ako napaka saya unang apak ko pa lang sa field naramdaman ko agad ung intense ng paligid but hindi ko inisip un dahil lagi ko iniisip na nagrerepresenta ako ng bansa ko at gusto ko ibigay ung kakayahan ko para sa pilipinas. napakakakaibang experience hindi ko makakalimutan lahat. salamat ng marami”
(When I scored my first international try I became very emotional and could not stop crying and shouting with all my heart that I am Filipino and I can do it. When I first stepped on the field I felt intense but I did not think of it because I always thought that I am representing my country and I wanted to give my best for the Philippines. I learnt a lot from this tour and I will always bring the Tamaraws way into my life. Very unusual experience I will never forget everything. Thank you very much.)
Two days later on Wednesday the 8th of November the Philippines backed up to play Thailand in what was also the 3rd Asian Cup match between the two countries. The Tamaraws repeated their dominance of the tournament winning 64-2
PNRL Head Coach Arwin Marcus reporting:
“The Mighty Tamaraws have won the Asian Cup beating Thailand 64-2 in tonight’s clash at Mahasarakham Institute of Sporting Excellence,Thailand.
The mighty Tamaraws raced out of the gates taking an early lead in the first half leading 38-0, thanks to 3 tries to Will Grooms.
“We were very clinical in the first half, completing nearly all our sets, our forwards really set the platform, and all were outstanding tonight.
“Max Power and Steve Bernstrom led from the front giving our edge players plenty of attacking shots, Marc Russell and Will Grooms formed a great combination on our left edge”.
The PNRL would also like to wish Co-Captain Glenn Power all the best, who after our victory tonight has announced his retirement from playing Rugby League. Glenn is an inaugural player representing the original PRL Carabaos and the Tamaraws since our inception in 2012.
PNRL Secretary and Co-Captain Glenn Power stating:
“My journey with the Tamaraws started in Thailand winning the Asian Cup and has also finished that way. I’ve been blessed to play alongside some unreal blokes and even got to Captain the boys alongside Paul Sheedy. I’ve had some of the best moments of my life and will cherish them all forever with brothers I’ll never forget”
PNRL Vice President Paul Sheedy would like to thank our sponsors Golds Gym Philippines, Max Power Electrical, Exerstend and all our wonderful supporters and the host nation Thailand for their warm hospitality and the opportunity to promote and develop Rugby League in their country and spread “The greatest game of all” in Asia.
