MAIN: in a constant battle against sleep, hypnos is found sleeping more often than performing his task of accounting for the newly arrived dead to the house while awaiting judgment. hypnos is a serious case of immortal immaturity, constantly lounging around, and finding many ways to avoid his responsibility of accounting for the dead, from doodling to sleeping.

HSR: penacony entity. hard to find, usually more likely to see him when you don't try. gives unsolicited advice. knows a lot about the family. the family doesn't know who he is. tbh hypnos isn't entire sure whats going on either!!! xipe? fuli? they're pretty chill but he doesn't work for them.

LEAGUE: spirit of sleep & dreams. hypnos is sleep incarnate. just like in myth he allows mortals to have peaceful sleep. though i've added dreams to the mix since adding the oneirei would be... hard. despite being a spirit akin to kindred, he likes talking to mortals quite a lot!!!

DND / BG3: hypnos is a patron... probably falls into the fae category. anyone who accepts him as their patron will usually be plagued with sleepiness, exhaustion... but have the ability to induce the same in others. combined with other strange eldritch magics akin to his mother nyx.

Im so glad somebody sent this in but now it's a struggle of picking just one to talk about oh boy, here we go...

So I think one of the biggest ones is Xander Cadwalader. He was a shapeshifter and from the world I created for a book I was writing a long time ago. His basic back story is that he was a famous singer and total asshole/drug addict who could shapeshift into a giant wolf. He was an elitist in this world (due to his useful shapeshifting ability) and spread propaganda for the governing facility--White Warden. However, at some point he got incredibly sick with the virus that had broken out amongst the city and started to get severe brain damage/amnesia. The further it progressed, the closer to death he was getting. Desperate for a solution, he decided to join an experimental cure hosted by the white warden, though he didn't realise how little testing had actually gone into it to begin with--no one, human, animal, or otherwise, had been tested with it yet. Long story short he almost died and ended up getting full amnesia as well as severe brain damage and broken abilities. He can now only shapeshift into a tiny black puppy that basically looks like an all-black German Shepard puppy, but like the runt of the litter, super tiny. He also has sort of adopted the full personality and thought process of his dog self because of the amnesia. Basically, he's a human that acts like a dog//has the limited knowledge of a dog, who can turn into a dog form--not very useful in the eyes of the White Warden, so they dropped their record deal with him and basically left him out on the streets. In most verses I played him in he was still homeless or had been homeless for a long time, carrying around his old guitar which has now gotten quite beat up and damp from being dragged around. He often has trouble remembering how to play, but he does remember loving it in a past life--even if he can't tune it for shit now.

He's a huge optimist literally to a fault because he is so naive and gullible. Honestly, I only stopped playing him because his faceclaim was Brendan Urie who I don't really subscribe to anymore, but I haven't been able to come up with a better faceclaim since. Like the gifs for Brendan were always so perfect and it frustrates me to not be able to find anybody else because I don't really wanna use Urie as a faceclaim lol

so ive had very low muse lately. obviously. but ive also been wanting to explore this AU I have where Ordos was never destroyed, all the Adhocs were able to grow up (and were legally adopted by Henri) and some of the gods were called back etc etc

Its kind of like a happy AU for most of my Ordan characters (and Earthen ngl its kind of a scifi verse where Ordos and Earth are in active communication).

I do have a server for it, but I haven't been too active IC (mostly for headcanons ngl since I find it to be a very new and fascinating thing to explore). But if anyone wants to go on it and read about it or write in that verse I might drop the link for it.

Been doing some blogwork and setup and such for my Genshin multimuse, but now that that’s all set up and I can settle into things, I’m over here wondering if I should just move Shayan over here to Sera’s blog as a side muse, since Kunsel’s getting moved over to the multi to join Cissnei and Shiva- Gonna debate it for a day or so methinks, especially since it might help Shayan (and a couple surprise extra extra side muses related to him and Sera) be a little more active.... Hmmm-

here,  they didn’t have to follow any of these so called earth made rules.   here ?   they were the ones in control,  starscream being the one in charge of keeping their new visitor under watch.

but was that thing about flattery a total lie ?   perhaps it wouldn’t work on the other decepticons,  but for someone with such a large ego,  it didn’t take long before red eyes glared down,  a smirk forming against his features.   “ but i didn’t say anything about stopping,  now did i. ”
