Cabinet decision: FDI approved in coal mining and digital media. 75 new medical colleges to be opened across the country, Modi government decided. Decision in cabinet meeting chaired by PM Modi- 75 new medical colleges will be opened, 15700 seats of MBBS will increase. Modi Cabinet approves opening of 75 new medical colleges from 24,000 crores, export subsidy to sugarcane farmers. New Delhi : A number of major decisions were taken in the Central Cabinet meeting today. After the meeting, Union Ministers Prakash Javadekar and Piyush Goyal made several announcements for 100% FDI, single brand retail and sugarcane farmers. Apart from this, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar also announced 75 new medical colleges. The government will open 75 new government medical colleges in different states by the year 2021-22. Prakash Javadekar said that medical colleges will be opened in places where there is no medical college already and there are unserved and aspiring districts which have lagged behind in development. The implementation of this proposal will cost Rs 24,375 crore.

Proposed new medical colleges will increase 15,700 seats of MBBS in the country. Piyush Goyal said- Modi government has mainly worked on FDI in last 5 years. One and a half times FDI has come in the last five years. 100% FDI has been approved for coal mining and sales. Single brand rules were eased for retail. 26% FDI in digital media approved by the government. Online retailing is allowed under single brand retail, in which case the necessity of opening the first store is exempted. New medical colleges will be built at a cost of Rs 24,375 crore. This will include 15,700 seats of MBBS. The Union Minister said that this is the biggest expansion of medical education. Apart from this, the government made a big announcement for sugarcane farmers. The government has announced a subsidy on exports of 60 lakh metric tons, giving gifts to sugarcane farmers. Apart from this, it was also decided to give export subsidy to sugarcane farmers for exporting 60 lakh metric tonnes of sugar. It will cost 6268 crore rupees. This money will go directly to the account of the farmer. This will also reduce the losses of farmers. Millions of farmers will benefit from this. At the same time, a decision has also been taken for the International Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure. Capacity building and exchange of information is essential. PM will launch this scheme by going to UN. At the same time, it was told by the government that FDI of 286 billion dollars has arrived in India. Union Minister Piyush Goyal said during this time that 100 percent FDI will be allowed for coal mining and its sale. Ltd. on 5 March 1965 to carry out exploration and development of the Rostam and Raksh oil fields in Iran and undertaking a service contract in Iraq.
