The Aphmau fandom is currently in revival because of the upcoming announcement at VidCon and I really hope the toxic fans from the old Laurmau/Garmau/Aarmau days aren't gonna come back or have grown up. They're already full force on tiktok (which ig is the case for most fandoms), but if you're in the fandom on tumblr *please* remember the following:

-Don't like a post? Don't interact. Shipping wars are a thing of the past, and ships (even non canon ones!) can co-exist

-You won't always like the way the plot turns, and that's okay! That's what fanfiction is for and tumblr nowadays is generally a safe place to share your headcannons

There's gonna be an influx of younger fans that possibly know very little about the past of the MCD/MyStreet community, and I know this community is so great and creative when it wants to be. The majority of us that were the target age originally are grown-ups now. I want to see how you've grown your writing skills! Your art skills! I wanna see what headcannons you had before and how they've grown now! I can't wait for the announcement. It's honestly a little unbelievable, so welcome back!

been thinking about Aphmau and MCD and other Aphmau series, especially about the Jury of Nine.

i've always wondered if we count Zane as a member of the Jury of Nine, or if he's a 10th person who is in charge of them. cause if he's counted as a member, there's 2 more unaccounted for members who were never revealed, and if he's a 10th, there's 3. i've personally always loved the idea of Teony being a member, but who would the other 1 or 2 members be?

Anyone interested in a Mcd rewrite?

Growing up I loved watching Aphmau and both of her series. I plan on making a comic based on mystreet, with my own original characters and stories. However, I really want to make a mcd rewrite, and I wanted to know if anyone would be interested! Some changes I would make:

-Aaron does not exist

-Garroth and Laurance would play a bigger role in the story

-I would include lgbtq(Specifically Garrance)

-The story would actually make sense instead of random pieces that don’t fit.

And much more! I will be writing this as a fanfic, feel free to share your own ideas on how you would change mcd, or even send asks on head canons I have and character changes I would put in place.

As a big fan of Aphmau, I kind of stopped watching her recent content. Nothing against it, I just miss her roleplays. They were so well done, especially MyStreet which hasn't gotten its seventh season nor finale. I believe its the same with MCDiaries, I don't think that was finished either along with all of the other roleplays: My Inner Demons, Heart Point, MC Side Stories etc.

It sucks that she has stopped and as I said already, nothing against her new content. It's defiantly grown in popularity, gaining lots of views but the charm is no longer there. I miss the stories, the writing. I loved watching these NPCs in her roleplays becoming full characters with backstories, gaining personalities and VAs. It what made me love MC roleplays such as Empires SMP, Hermitcraft (kind of) and Dream SMP. I fell in love with these because of Aphmau's.

I know it's not coming back but, I would love for just one more. At least finish the ones that you've started Aph. Please.

Learning from a wedding I didn’t MC

Day’s December 17th, my cousin doctor is getting married to another doctor. If there is any wedding an MC would love to officiate, it is this one. It catches all the congenital anxieties in my immune system and processes them into inoperable excitement. My happiness is epidemic. Time scheduled for the wedding is 9 am. This is no Ghanaian time rendition; we are singing the wedding song of doctors who invite other doctors to doctor their doctored wedding. It is enough to quarantine the lateness plague.

The crowd my cousin draws is as polished as the english of a british schooled Ghanaian doctor getting married. It made me really curious to know whoever wielded the title of MC.

It turned out the MC was Mr Pratt. This cool-dude-with-a-humble-demeanor-and-a-lot-of-confidence. Mr I-don’t-know-about-you-but-i’ve-got-this-bad-boy-by-the-tumors. It was great getting to meet an emcee like him. He officiated the wedding reception with such poise and showed very little vibrations in his internal or external equilibrium. Mr Pratt had his sheets together and it was working, so I got closer to him during the digestion session to know how he was able to dominate such a domineering draw together?

It was like a scene from a good Chinese movie where the student draws from the well of wisdom of the ancient sensei.  He said, “You are the MC. You control the event. So as soon as you pick the mic, know that you control the show and it doesn’t matter the caliber of people at the event. You were paid to control the show.”

You don’t believe words like that till you have seen them being put into action. And I saw a testimony of that on December 17th 2016, the day the Ofori-Dompreh’s got married

Mid Ep 34. S3 of Minecraft Diaries.

Turns out writing the transcripts of the episodes for the Fandom Wiki is pretty fun, I'm doing that for the last few episodes of Season 3 but I may go back and do it for the rest of them when I have the time.
