Day 7: Lan sect @mdzsrarepair24

This was the best excuse to draw one of my favorite rarepairs. I was originally planning on posting this on the 26th, as it is the anniversary of that time my besties told me about the concept they had for their fanfic and I cried at the boba place. 

Silken Veils changed me as a person. Not only did it get me into this rarepair; it swallowed me whole and then spat me out as something with new likes and more understanding. It feels like a very personal fic to me. The fic was not created for this event, of course, but I’m linking it once again. As usual, mind the tags.

gold and brown leaves again no waaayy... anyway, qin su has her own garden where she grows more than just sparks amidst snow. maybe she can take her new troublemaker friend there.

[ID: an underwater scene featuring sea creature versions of xue yang, wen chao and jiang cheng. they are on the sea floor, converging around a large rock. xue yang is happily showing off an iridescent makeshift blade to a dazzled wen chao and unimpressed jiang cheng, who are on the other side of the rock and a bit tangled up. xue yang's mermaid tail is based mostly off a barred knifejaw, whereas jiang cheng's belongs to a purple eel. wen chao is a red squid-like creature with a squid for a hat, complete with dorky eyes. one of his tendrils is reaching out to xue yang. a few sea critters like jellyfish swim around them, and a little crab and sea star rest on the sand. the foreground has swaying algae. bubbles rise around the three as sunlight streams down through the water. /end ID]
