The Let Me Into Your Heart pilot trailer is finally out. It doesn't have English subs (yet?🙏) but it looks really good.

Between the cast (Atom Nathaphop my beloved! - but it'll take a while for me to get used to him having longer hair again lmao), the focus on likay, and the (weirdly enough? but it really caught my attention) lighting - what's not to like?

Plus, it's currently actively in production so we'll hopefully get to see it soon.

How are you sure meb is a safe company? I've never heard of them before but I want to read the books you read...

I did some searches before buying, and looked at the reviews on my app store. I also am mutuals with a couple-few people who use meb, so like, hearing their recommendations and such really helped.

Actually, I don't have a meb account (yet), what I have is something different. Not sure how, but there is a thing in settings to CONVERT my account to a meb account, so... obviously something is different.

What I did was I downloaded the app on GooglePlay, and I do all of my purchasing through that. That way, how it actually works is that when I buy stuff, GooglePlay pays meb, Google just reimburses itself from my account. That way, meb doesn't get any of my payment information and it protects my credit card info. It just warns me that google takes a 30% cut of every charge, and I can get better token-for-cost ratio through the meb site itself.

Any time I'm buying something through an app or site I don't know 100% if I can trust, I'll go through the play store.

BUT, and I only just learned this like a few days ago, look at this still from the opening credits of Until We Meet Again:

meb sponsored at least one drama. So like, that REALLY leans me to it being legit. I've never paid enough attention to notice if Mame or anyone mentions being able to get a book on meb, but a drama featuring them that strongly with their sponsors kind of makes me feel safer.

in 2016 (when I was a degenerate broke english teacher living in france) I was in Barcelona on holiday walking on the most random back street and had a Barcelona jersey on (I am a former culer, but that is a different story lol) and started getting heckled by a group of adult men saying stuff about Suarez the traitor, left us to play at Barcelona, etc. and I turned around and was like are you liverpool fans?? They said babe we’re from liverpool we’re scouse?? And I showed them my liverbird tattoo and they freaked out and wanted to take pictures with me and my friends and gave us a bunch of money and said we were their daughters. my more responsible friend was like noooo we can’t take their money we can’t talk to strangers! but I’m too invested in having fun so I was all in.

we actually ran into them later on as we walked around the city - we walked past a bar they were in completely coincidentally and they pulled us into the bar to watch a football match with them, and they bought us drinks and food and were just handing us euros and saying go have fun!!! they tried to give us their numbers to text them if we needed anything else and to let them know we got back to our airbnb safely. total dads it was so fun and heartwarming. Liverpool fans are everywhere and it brings me so much joy to connect with them.

told this story to @thelatenightvibes a while ago. love scousers sooo much Liverpool is one of my favorite cities in the world.

📚Do you read your own Fic?

Sometimes, lol. Especially when I’m writing a new chapter, I like to see that my wording and prose is all continuous. Helps me keep the narrative in flow. Other times I try not to, otherwise I get all up in my head about grammar or spelling or just paragraphs that could be better.

I love your works so much btw!!!! I’ve definitely read them more than my own, lol.

🍰 Name one of your fave comfort fics.

Wow, this is hard. I’d say something I go back to a lot, because it’s so well-written and so sweet and one of the first works I read in the fandom years ago is “Same Same but Different” by Ferritin4. There’s something wonderful about a cross-fandom work that doesn’t need to try so hard. (And even if Neymar has officially been on my shit-list for a good while now, him in fanfic is so well-meaning and sweet.)

🧠 What’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet?

I’ve been wanting to do an AU for so long now. Like a Uni AU so badly, I’ve got stuff written, like random tidbits. I don’t even know who the pairing would be. Or the context. It’s just something I’ve been thinking about for so long and sometimes I want to just dive straight into my notes and give it some life somehow.

There’s oftentimes when I wanna just publish all my WIPs or ideas just as they are, lol. Cause I know they’ll never get finished and I don’t want them rotting and dying in my drafts ahahaha.

Does cutie pie has a book? If yes, the story make any sense in there? I just finished naughty babe and it was way better explained (even if some of it didn't make any sense to me, but like it worked for the story they were telling) and I realized how weird and confusing was cutie pie.

And it was sad because the couple is cute and they have good chemistry and everything.

There is a book for Cutie Pie, I bought it through the Meb app.

But like... It doesn't really... It fills some blanks in, you see more what Lian's side of things is, the history between Lian and Phayak is fleshed out more, and you get some more information about Kuea and Diao's relationship... but they changed SO MUCH for the show.

I think Naughty Babe is much closer show vs novel than Cutie Pie is to it's novel.

The show for Cutie Pie has a lot more going on than the novel. The novel doesn't really have a plot the way Naughty Babe did, so they had to inject a lot into the show to make it work as a show. The novel is more... vibes?

I need to get back to my watch through of Cutie Pie sometime lmaooo. I keep getting distracted with stuff at night when I'd usually be watching XD

uhhh. idk man. hold on lemme think. ok this is kinda a cop out but im proud a the fact that my fics exist??? cause before may i had never written or published anything besides the pokemon ashen frost fic i wrote for my friends that they convinced me to put on ao3. i never considered myself a writer (i still dont tbh). if you told the max from four months ago that she'd have eight published works on ao3 she woulda asked you what you were smoking

ooooh this is a good question. ok so even tho champagne problems is in my opinion my best work, i think uefa high is the best intro to like,,, writer max. its the most,, me, ig, if that makes any sense??? like im not trying to be angsty or funny or anything im jus being myself. its very informal n i throw in references to things that are totally unrelated n no one reading is into but that i like.

ok im assuming this is fics that i havent written. i recently had the ABSOLUTE JOY of reading ein unbeschreibliches gefuhl by mercedesdhubh on ao3 n,,, OHMYGOSH. i loved every single second of it. im angry at myself for finishing cause idk what im gonna do w my life now. i HIGHLY recommend this one. the author has such a way w words n its HANDS DOWN, TRULY, DEEPLY the most ROMANTIC SHIT ive ever read. this shit had me SWOONING BURYING MY FACE IN A PILLOW SQUEALING N KICKING MY FEET. im gonna remember this forever

ok my first piece of advice is to never take advice from me. i am NOT smart enough to give advice. second is uh,,, ok so i like to write dialogue first. n then go back n put in all the wordy descriptions of the setting. but then again thats probly an extremely common thing that everybody does

Okay there’s a post about how to find the best dragon fruit going around and they’re not wrong exactly for if you live outside the tropics/DON’T live around SE Asia but like. I want my friends to know that the dragon fruit with the white flesh CAN be extremely sweet and delicious when it’s actually fresh. That’s the stuff I grew up with and it’s so so good.
