Okay, the temperature seems to be rising again. Not sure who did it, but thank you for stopping them. Everyone in the center turned out fine, thanks to Sunburst, Fluffernutter the growlithe, Ol’ Burnguts the charizard, Rompy and Stompy the darumakas, Ponyta the ponyta, Swag Lord the simisear, and 100,000 Spicy Spelon Berries the volcorona. All of them are heroes! My deepest gratitude goes out to all of them and everyone else who helped save lives during this uh whatever this was. Catastrophy? Yeah that sounds right.

Our journey started like any other through the region of Lilos- from home to Moltos to Twistvale to Cloakdome and everything beyond, collecting badges and making new friends.Taking on the champion's challenge and becoming the region's champions.

{we ran into Team Helix grunts on our way home- they managed to get a hold of two of our teammates- Lillith the Charizard and Strudel the Mightyena.}

They were our very first companions... Lillith hatched from an egg when we reached Moltos city...Strudel was caught by us while we were defending the Cottonee Iris.... Dakota cares for both of them dearly.

((for the record, Iris stayed in Lilos with Dakota's father after their journey concluded))

{We didn't find them again until...well. our return to Rumbleheart town when we were tracking down the leader of Team Helix. It was the base of operations for the evil team and we uncovered their plans... unfortunately. Far too late.}

They had used their science to fuse both of them into unstable fusion pokemon. Strudel with two other canine Pokemon to form a Cerberus-

{and Lillith would join a Pyroar, Dubwool and who knows how many other pokemon as the false chimera malgamus. A beast with nearly the strength of the legendary chimera Hersion.}

But neither of them seemed to recognize her within their fused forms. Dakota was...devastated. we were forced to capture them again and return them home. Along with sending many of the other fused Pokemon captured by Team Helix to her father.

{her father has made some progress on unfusing several of the other amalgamated Pokemon we met in that facility. But has yet to untangle Hersion or the Cerberus. Even after all this time.}

In a surprising turn of events, I seem to have defeated two zubat with one rock throw. Literally. As it turns out, solrock is well equipped to defend me from bad people, and seemed to enjoy doing so! As for what Team Rocket grunts are doing in Unova, please go away, we have enough going on already.

Based on the look in its eyes after the battle, I think solrock is here to stay. I have to think of a name though. Firecracker? Spaceman? Splodey?
