(if it isn't implied enough in the little comic w/ Y and Dr. Kalinka Cossack, Kalinka is gonna put a couple just VAUGE memories of Roll's into Y, it's so she doesn't lose touch from why she and X are fighting for peace between humans and robots, so she can remember that humans DID care for robots at one point and that it could happen again. BUT...... the memories are so far and so distant in Y's head that they come up more like,,,, feelings and nostalgia than anything else.

This is supposed to mirror how X gets most of his information about the past through Dr. Light's hologram/A.I- blurry memories and feelings vs. cut and dry facts)

In the year 20XX two scientist revolutionize robotics and the world. The two being Dr Albert wily and Dr Thomas light. Leading a coexistence between man and machine. Over time Dr light started a family and had two children Yuichiro and Emilia Light.

The son went into network and programming creating the helper programs known has navi's. While the daughter continue her father work in robotics. Even working with his old partner Albert. But brewing in Dr Wily heart was a darkness known has envy.

"YEARS I SPENT UNDER THE SHADOW OF THOMAS! ALWAYS BEING SECOND BEST AND NEVER GETTING THE RESPECT I DESERVED! I WAS ONE OF THE TWO WHO PRACTICTLY BUILT THIS WORLD! AND YET YOU ALL ALWAYS PRAISE DR LIGHT IF HE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT MATTERED! I THOUGHT I BE FREE OF HIS SHADOW AFTER HIS RETIRMENT! BUT NO EVEN THE SHADOW EXTENTS TO HIS CHILDREN! Megawoman in watercolors I tried watercolors for the first time. It was fun but quite hard to keep track of where colors were flowing!

MegaGirl (WIP)

I was watching Captain N again for the zillionth time just to see Skater Boi Alucard again, when I remembered the episode where Mega Man got a sister named Mega Girl. Clearly she was meant to be that show's version of Roll, but I feel like the concept could work, so I made my own version of the character. Her name is Melody and her alternate names could be RockWoman or Muse.

Unlike the other characters she isn't a robot but a regular human who happens to use a set of powered armor. Her backstory is that she contracted a serious illness that resulted in the loss of her arm. Her aunt, who specialized in prosthetics, gave her an advanced arm. Years later when her aunt got kidnapped by Dr. Wily, Melody snuck in and found an experimental suit that her she was working on and decide to rescue her herself.

But very soon she finds out the hard way that she is way over her head and reluctantly asked Mega Man for help.

So for Melody's ability she has power fists that can be amplified whenever she defeats a R.M., making her similar to Zero in gameplay. However she needs a mandatory power up to lessen the chronic pain that she often gets with her prosthetic (I am not an expert so I'll have to do research on this topic). For the most part she is not ashamed of her disability and wants to be treated as an equal regardless but remains aware of her physical limits.

Another thing to add is that she is not Rock's love interest. She's in her teens (though her exact age is unknown) so they would have a platonic relationship akin to a sibling or cousin dynamic, which I find it much better than romance (which is funny coming from someone who adores romantic OC x Canon). As for her color scheme I might go from primary pigment colors (cyan and magenta) or something like green or orange. Something that fits in with the set up Mega Man, Bass, Roll and Proto Man has.

In the Mega Man X timeline the MegaWoman of those games is her great-granddaughter Symphonie.

I made a megaman oc before now i wanna revisit her 👀 👀

While varying in personalities and backstories, each Mega Woman share common traits:

Human women with cybernetic enhancements via implants, outside resources

Has a green theme color (to balance out Mega Man and Blues)

Typically forms a relationship with her Mega Man through the game/story; can be platonic or romantic depending on verse

Shares the similar absorbing abilities but with different stats

Primarily focused on close ranged/melee combat

Has distinct singing voice/can sing (look it's a game where characters are named after musical terms ok??)

Megawoman Classic: Real name Melody Jones. When she was very young, Melody needed implants in order to heal from a devastating illness. One of Light's friends, Prof. Desi Belle, provided the implants. When Pro. Belle gets kidnapped by Wily, Melody seeks out Mega Man to save her.

When Melody becomes Mega Woman (through experimental fabric) she has the same absorbing abilities. While her response time is faster, she lacks durability. Her base armor is green but changes patterns and colors whenever she defeats a Robot Master.

Mega Woman X: The great grand niece of Melody, Yodel Jones was an agent tasked with partnering up with two Reploids, X and Zero, to take down Mavericks. Yodel would later become a diplomat and ambassador working to restore the broken relationship between humans and Reploids. Her and X are very close, to the point of borderline romance. Her moveset is based entirely on close melee combat: power but sacrifices speed and long-range prowess. Similar to Zero.

Mega Woman ZX: Have no idea 🤔

Mega Woman Battle Network: There's two of them: Symphonie is the "Caretaker" of Chaud Blaze, in reality a government agent tasked with uncovering business malpractice. Her NetNavi is MegaGirl.EXE, a graceful yet snarky fighter who has a tumultuous relationship with Protoman.EXE. She's like that one blunt friend in the group.

Mega Woman Starforce: Have no idea either 💁

That one weird CGI Mega Man that came out a few years ago: Retains the name Melody only now she's the popular student who isn't shallow and materialistic but hates that everyone assumes that she is so she uses her money to craft a hero suit for her and uses her resources to fight crime. So like a female Adrien Agreste but with actual development lmao

90s Mega Man cartoon: She's the token human sidekick character who somehow is also the only character that has the braincell; would probably be the start of ship discourse lol

Okay that's like all the Mega Women I have, I don't know every single version of Mega Man but I would LOVE to flesh her out more!
