1. Is your muse a good kisser?

First off, I wouldn't be caught dead letting my OCs be bad kissers so jot that down!!! 📝😤 Secondly, yes! She's had only one or two intimate experiences under her belt before meeting the intimidating Master van Calox (do people really trust being close to a psyker let alone a telepathic one btw) but what she lacks in experience she makes up for in passion and eagerness. 😼

13. What personality trait/type does your muse find most attractive?

Adding to that note of having little intimate experiences, I'd imagine what drew her to past partners and Heinrix was their passion. Most are in their servitude to the Imperium -- as was she in her time lil miss dogmatic 💤 -- but learning the Interrogator was capable to be beyond his duties and had such hidden, personal and passionate depths is what drew her to him.

And in that magnetic attraction she learned more about herself in the process, too.

24. Does your muse tend to get jealous when in a relationship? Do they like it when their partner gets jealous over them?

Being in an actual relationship is very new to Lucinda so I think she's a little unsure on how to properly navigate the emotions that can come with it lol. Jealousy rears its head when Heinrix's noble politeness extends to other nobles at times (stares at Cassia/Heinrix interactions before they were even dating). Nevermind that she feels imposter in her newly-anointed royal position but she has to squint real hard to try and read that man because he's just. So. Good. at playing his part. It's looking a little too friendly Heinrix 🙄 LOL.

How much stock does your muse put in first impressions? What is the best way to make a good first impression with your muse? 

She's sooo easily impressionable 😭 lmfao. Lucinda was literally shooketh when Heinrix was out here treating her with respect not only because of rank and title but as a person? Unheard of when you've been treated poorly your whole life and had to work twice as hard to gain even an iota of respect or decent treatment as a psyker. Even as a sanctioned one.

But that's it. That's all it takes or rather... took. LMFAO. You know strictly speaking when he was totally not watching her every move, of course.

Their first impression of your muse: Dan Heng is a very complicated one, for the simple reason that, well— we have to touch on her memories of another; for Dan Heng is and will never be able to fully sever himself from Imbibitor Lunae, at least not for those who knew him previously. With that in mind, when Jingliu first looked at him, I can't describe what she felt in that moment any other way than... 'wistful'. She sees a man that is in essence, a shell of the former High Elder that she once respected, a shell of her lifelong friend, but also of that same friend that she was forced to raise her sword against because not only did he fulfill the unforgivable, his actions also threatened the Luofu. But Jingliu remembers the High-Cloud Quintet fondly, and seems to yearn for the days where she thought those would live on indefinitely, it's what she seemed to want in the first place— and it all ended at Baiheng's self-sacrifice for the gain of the rest of them, and a mistake that can never be undone (even if the intentions may have been noble). So seeing Dan Heng is... difficult, because she while she recognizes that is he is only an incarnation of Imbibitor Lunae, he is also still exactly that: an incarnation of someone that was, once upon a time, significant to her.

Current impression: Rather the same as the above as little time passes between their first and last meeting. She bears him no ill-will at this point, but still seems to conflate Dan Heng and Imbibitor Lunae, even though very consciously so. But one thing is rather clear to me, and it's that she wishes to bring an end to the Abundance across the board, but also specifically: "Maybe, when I witness the fall of the Abundance, you and Yingxing will find true release." Her farewell to him is not one of ill-will.

Are they attracted to your muse? Dan Heng? No. And I would say no to Imbibitor Lunae as well at this point, but I also only super recently learned that they were possibly the closest within the HCQ. I'm using this meme as a test for her, Charlie, bear with me.

Something they find frightening about your muse: Again, this is one where she actively conflates him with his previous incarnation, but she does so very consciously, it seems. Now, I'm not certain that 'frightening' would at all be the right word, but we'll humor it. That he was, quite frankly, capable of enacting what he ultimately was responsible for starting. They all held Baiheng dearly in their hearts, as they seemed to across the board, but there is a frightening element to someone's character to go as far as to break laws (when your position revolves around them so firmly) for anything, or anyone, to go beyond the laws of even nature and fate.

Something they find adorable about your muse: Not the right word, or specifically, it's not adorable in the traditional or intended way. But I think she finds herself amused by how insistent he remains that there is enough separation between he and Lunae, while it really seems quite evident to her that his curiosity speaks loudly enough in regards to his memories.

Would my muse sacrifice themselves for yours? Dan Heng, no, Imbibitor Lunae back in the day? Yes, it is the greatest honor for any Cloud Knight after all, to give their life on the battlefield. And if that, on top of it all, would be for a friend, who is there with her? Yes.

Would my muse go on a date with yours (platonic/romantic)? Charlie, the 'Dan Heng? No' and 'Imbibitor Lunae--' is driving me crazy. But Dan Heng, no, Imbibitor Lunae, a yes on the former.

One word my muse would use to describe yours: At this point in time, confused.

Would my muse slap yours if they could? Why slap anyone, if you can raise a perfectly great sword forged by a mutual friend (or if we're speaking Dan Heng, then the point remains but simply a different sword).

Are they attracted to your muse?:  He keeps coming back to annoy her, what that means he does not know. He hasn't worked it out yet. Give him time.

This is fairly frequent due to him either educating himself on technology or designing and building mechs and weapons. Pentious isn’t a big coffee person and will opt for strong black teas when he works into the night.

As a Victorian era demon, Sir Pentious has a lot of habits that he has retained from that era. His morning routine is a fairly early morning where he grooms and dresses himself for the day, making sure his looks prime, proper, and presentable before even leaving his room. This is followed by a light breakfast with tea, usually a black tea with rose petals but rarely any sugar or milk in his dining room. He usually reads up on the usual news and gossip while having breakfast. Afterward, he tends to his dental hygiene and checking for early signs of mouth rot (a common issue that snakes encounter) and gets started with anything else he has planned for the day from there. Hi!! I like your oc Mizuiro (hope i spelt it right!!) and knowing that she gets shipped with Leo tbh started giving me the courage to not just go back to my oc x canon ships again, but also the oc's I shipped with the turtle(s) (depends on the version lol).

I used to feel embarassed about it when oc x canon shipping was thought of as 'cringe' and people moral-shamed human x anthro characters but seeing other human oc x Turtles ships out there (yours included) gave me hope that one day I may pick up drawing my old otps again! ;-; Thank you!!

To know that my OC inspires other people is such an honor. She really is my muse. I'm thankful to be able to share the inspiration she offers me with others. <3 As for the whole "anthropomorphic x human debate", I think it's important to be aware of it for what it truly is : fiction. I've seen a video from a therapist on Tiktok (I know, it's quite vague- sorry I can't find it anymore ;_;) talk about how so many of her millenials and Gen Z patients often asks her if it's ok to be attracted to fictional characters even if they're not our age, if they're not human, etc etc. But her answer was great : It's mostly about treating our fantasies exactly as that, fantasies! Side note > There are so many tropes that are, in my opinion, awfully worse than a consensual relationship between two characters who have around the same age equivalence and thinking capacities but who aren't the same species. Do you get what I'm trying to say? The TMNT fandom, from what I understand, can be divided on that. Some people prefer to create non-humans OCs and some others (like me) prefers to create human OCs. I personally never thought there was a problem with writing a human character fall in love with a non-human character... especially since in the 2012 TMNT series or even the most recent Mutant Mayhem movie, there ARE canonical relationships between Ninja Turtles and human characters. Clearly, the fans weren't the first ones to think of that. I do believe that it is important to ask ourselves questions about our ships and how "healthy" it is, but in the end, you are writing and/or drawing for yourself. I understand that receiving criticism from someone who doesn't share the same point of view can make you doubt yourself. There is a huge fear about being rejected by a community or a part of it. The internet is a place to have discussions, sure... but what I'm trying to say is : If you have fun doing it, if it doesn't hurt anyone and if it makes you happy, do it! I don't know if you ever saw the meme below, but I think I'm going to end with that. When I understood this message, it gave me the strenght to post my art and my writings online. Look, I'm seeing people discuss feeling ignored for female OCs and I just want to discuss this undercut.

I have played a range of muses across various rpcs. I've written from female oc to male canon, in marvel, in star wars, in dragon age, and a few others. Am I going to deny female ocs often get the short end of the stick? No, I'm not. But am I going to discuss the issues which may cause this? Yeah. But I'm also tired of people saying it's a problem in this RPC because this RPC is, statistically, the most interaction I've gotten for my female OCs.

You want to know why canon male rpers don't interact with you? There may be a variety of reasons, but let me tell you what I deal with on my three sideblogs with the origin male romance options

I post on my pinned post that those blogs are private for my mutuals on this blog. I still get followers who follow those blogs but not this one. There's an innate concern of people not reading through all your stuff, just because you write a canon muse.

In the past, I've had people come up and assume entire dynamics (St.eve Ro.gers was a loop with someone who's OC was his wife???) without talking to me first. I've known rpg rpc male canon rpers who have told me they've dealt with this. Just because you know the magic combination to get your favorite to kiss your PC in game doesn't mean you'll have chemistry with every blog that plays them.

It is tiring to have people constantly coming to you for romance-without-plot. It can even at times feel like they're not interested in you or your writing, just in getting jollies with a face they like.

Onto the matter of female OCs being ignored and how my own women are doing decently, or why I suspect. This isn't to shame anyone, just some thoughts I have on maybe why and maybe for people to emulate.

I don't chase for ships or even just shippy writing. I'm invested in development and writing that build up, taking in every piece to figure out how the intimacy would work. and if the intimacy is a platonic one, I enjoy that too.

I'm not against memeing myself for headcanon memes or drabble memes. I'm interested in building in-depth discussions and plots for my OCs, even if I don't have someone I'm plotting with about it.

If I don't get interactions, I write little scenes with my own OCs or go find something else to do. I don't sit and wait with bated breath or reblog the same things multiple times in the same day.

I try to have variety in my memes, try to find things simple to send, or sentences with a variety of dynamics so people can pick and choose.

On the matter of memes, when I do send them, it's because I've carefully combed over the list to find something I feel would fit the dynamic I can picture possibly working between muses. I try to be deliberate.

Another thing to consider is the RPC is dominated by people who are attracted to men. A lot of the time in video games, people put a lot of themselves into the PC and so they have similar attractions. So the male canon rpers get bombarded with these OCs and they can't keep up with it a lot of the time, especially on solo blogs.

Look, my suggestion if you're a female OC and you're feeling frustrated by lack of interaction, do some solo writing. Develop a bit. Have fun with your OC just for yourself, and maybe someone will see you having fun and want to have fun too. It may take time but that's okay, good things come to those who wait. Maybe if you're feeling frustrated, get off the screen (seriously). Because your frustration will show in your writing. Go read a book, go take a walk, go do some chores, and then just write a bit for yourself.

okay so this is kind of open to interpretation bc i do plan on getting an au written up soon where albedo is sent to sumeru rather than mondst and ends up as a member of the akademiya. which would 1) make their paths much more likely to cross 😭 2) force albedo into a much more social position than what he's really used to. i've kind of answered this with a lil mix of this and the canon verse in mind

i think they'd have the potential to be good friends either way !! i can honestly see them helping each other out from time to time what with albedo's ability to just ... fabricate resources and (smaller) concepts of kaveh's from basic sketches (thinking of that one time he produced a chair out of thin air for the traveler fkgh) and also kaveh being a lot more charismatic and understanding of people, in a way that albedo would v much appreciate being around and possibly being able to rely on him just a little bit while he finds his footing in sumeru ??? the romantic ones that i've highlighted are just things that i could maybe see but they def still depend on interaction and your thoughts on all this, and i personally don't see much room for any antagonistic dynamic between them outside of friendly / academic rivalry or the idea that albedo's research does kind of fall under some of the akademiya's sins e.g. interfering with human evolution, tampering with life and death, delving beyond the universe etc. and i don't know how kaveh would feel about that if he were to find out ?!

Unisex: Breina has two archetypes she finds attractive: Butchness, or refinement.

That means she finds expressions of masculinity attractive regardless of the gender - strength, the scruff of body hair, larger frames (muscular or fat - she'll happily take both). In a dynamic, she is more likely to fall slightly more submissively to this type of person.

On the flipside, again, regardless of gender, there's something that pings her brain about someone she perceives as refined or even delicate in some way. It makes her feel protective, and it leads her to fall into a specific, rather devoted pattern with that person. She will take dominant or submissive roles with this subtype.

Unisex: Slightly older. I don't have an explaination for this one it's just a pattern.

Masculine: Beards are particularly attractive.

It annoys me when headcanon ask memes include questions that are about your muse’s opinions on the sender’s muse. Not because there’s anything wrong with those questions by themselves, but because they’re ALWAYS the ones that get sent to me. It’ll be a whole list of interesting or thought-provoking questions, but no, I always end up getting the one that’s like "what do they find most attractive about my muse” and it’s almost always sent by someone I’ve barely interacted with.

experience/how many years:  i've been roleplaying forever, tumblr since i was like ? twelve ? we won't talk about it. but i've been around awhile.

best experience: probably when i was frequently writing in the tma/penumbra/podcast fandom. i made a lot of friends and plotted a lot / idk, it was really comfortable and was a safe space, though my time writing beetlejuice was also really fun, it was the first time i ever made an rpc server and i learned a lot !  

rp pet peeves: replacing fcs for aesthetics / shipability - ie replacing fat or old actors ( especially older women ) with younger / more conventionally attractive actors OR using skinny faceclaims and then "body claims" for fat muses. ( i understand it's hard to find the perfect fc especially when fat actors / content for fat actors is hard to come by, but it feels bad to me as a fat person. ). the idea length of reply / speed of reply = effort / care. sometimes, words are hard, i'm dyslexic and work full time, we're here to have fun and personally i don't care if you match length. write what you can / what you feel.

plots or memes: both ! i love a good plot but i am very much the sort of person who likes to improvise a majority of the time, i like to go with the flow, though gerri is one of my more plot driven blogs due to the nature of the show, i'm just not very good at like . . . plotting. i'll just throw ideas at you and giggle. 

long or short replies: i personally write para / sometimes novella, especially with gerri, she has a lot of thoughts and emotions she doesn't actually display but i feel are important to understand what she means. a lot of the time what she's saying needs to be deconstructed, and there are multiple layers to it, which is hard to get across in shorter replies. though i'm not opposed to one-liners.

are you like your muses: some of them yes, most of them not so much. gerri is far more serious than i am, she's also more sure of herself and better at hiding her nerves / desire for acceptance, but we both crave that sort of acceptance, and for both of us a large obsticale in getting it is our perceived gender. i project a lot onto my muses which is something i'm aware of. ( i'm far more like connor in terms of personality, which uuh says something. ) . she's also sixty years old with a law degree and a job she's secure in making millions of dollars a year, while i'm just a goofy little guy.
