Day 9 - Most visually pleasing love scene

As an Aegosexual I really do have a lot of thoughts on what makes a visually pleasing spice scene. It’s a funny line to walk and stuff that works for some invariably won’t work for others. (Venus in the sky and PlayBoyy were both way too gay male gaze coded for my taste. There’s *nothing* wrong with this it’s just not for me. Bulges and moaning and feeling like I might actually see a penis just don’t work for me.) It’s safe to say I gave this one some *thought*.

Prapai & Sky LITA special episode. Look, I’ve got many, many thoughts on Mame but you cannot deny that memindy get their spice scenes *correct*. The way this is hot as hell and also highlights what a damn service top Prapai is, was and will always be *chefs kiss*. SKY YOUR PHONE ISNT EVEN ON DON’T PLAY. (The BossNouel scene in the special episode is also a damn icon. Not to mention episode 6.)

Every damn spice scene between Mile & Apo in KinnPorsche. Even the dubcon. There I said it.

Hi! I'm a mostly quiet follower admirer of your blog and I have no idea why I followed you but I like your blog, lot's of diversity and queer "stuff" and I kind of love it (Okay I love it a lot) I'm anonymlous because I'm kind of old, but I wanted to let you know I saw a gif or a question list maybe about some series called "The Sign" and it looked interesting (like young me would have devoured it if it came out in her time) and so I thought what the heck I'll check it out.

I found it on youtube, watched all of the ones they had (up to episode 5) and am now hooked. Is there a place to watch this and others like it that supports the actors? I mean free is nice but it doesn't pay the actors. I did do some research but google isn't helpful when it comes to services from around the world (is anyone surprised? Sacrasm intended). I can probably only afford one? So I was thinking of doing iQIYI, but I'm not sure? Where do you watch your content mostly? OR do you have recommendations for subscriptions services that might be better?

Also, any other shows you recommend?

If your goal is to support the actors, YouTube is the best place to watch The Sign and other queer (Thai) shows like it because the episodes are released on YouTube by the official productions house. For example, you have IdolFactory which is the official production house for The Sign.

Then you have GMMTV, one of the largest, most prolific producers of Thai BL on YouTube followed by Studio Wabi Sabi, MeMindY, and Mandee just to name a few.

There are also "smaller" production houses like Star Hunter Entertainment, Dee Hup House, Dược sĩ Tiến Entertainment (Vietnamese), STRONGBERRY (Korean) and VIBIE STUDiO, O2 Production (Vietnamese), and Oxin Films (Pinoy).

So to answer your question, I watch most of my content on YouTube. And since you're just getting started, you will find more than enough content to keep you entertained there. However, if you are truly in the market for a subscription service for bl/queer content, I would recommend GagaOOLala. iQIYI does have a few gems (KinnPorsche, Laws of Attraction, Dead Friend Forever (airing), Blueming, Sing My Crush, La Pluie etc.) and the uncut versions of a few shows (Love in the Air, Wedding Plan, Bed Friend, Pit Babe etc.), but in my opinion, you would definitely get more variety (in terms of regions and genres) and bang for your buck with GagaOOLala.

For a more in-depth analysis on streaming services, I recommend reading this post by @absolutebl as it can help you make a more informed decision regarding the streaming service that would be the best fit for you.

you know, i love gushing about ifylita and my stand in so let's discuss.

personally, i think it's a VERY HIGH possibility for my stand in to get a special episode. considering how aggressive iqiyi has been in supporting thai bl series on its platform with the special episode thing (see: wedding plan, city of stars, love in the air, don't say no, tharntype).

but at the same if you notice, most of the series that has special episodes are memindy productions (except for city of stars which is a star hunter bl). yyds has only had one other series being ifylita and pepzi has only directed one other work being kinnporsche so it's kinda hard to use these as precedents.

however, i do think a special episode for my stand-in is possible based solely on the novel which has quite a few extra chapters and i'd genuinely be content with them straight up adapting the extra chapters if they don't have any new ideas for mingjoe. i also think it'll greatly enhance the story for us to be able to see a bit of mingjoe after they get together because the novel really just ended with them getting together (man the wife chasing arc was LONG but i like it that way, ming needed all that groveling)

the only thing that i'm not 100% certain about is that for ifylita, it was pretty much announced even during the behind the scenes that ifylita would be 12 eps + 1 special ep whereas i don't think i've seen pepzi nor yuan hinting anywhere that we'll get a my stand in special episode yet so that knocked off 1% of the certainty for me (at this point in time, but hopefully they'll hint about a special ep later on).

In Fortpeat News: Their Next Project?

We have next to nothing to go on right now BUT it would seem like we will be hearing imminently about Fortpeat's next series.

(*CUE DELIRIOUS LEVELS OF UNHINGED EXCITEMENT*)

In a recent live Peat hinted that information on a new project would be coming soon. As of yesterday, MeMindY have also formally announced two new upcoming projects based on MAME's novels. Apparently there's been filming taking place by the sea. Something's a brewin' and it's hard not to indulge in my wildest delusions.

I've certainly been highly anticipating these two acting again. With the recent update, I'll be living constantly and perilously on edge until we get an official announcement to confirm this. Because how 'soon' is SOON exactly? News could drop at any goddamn moment.

Something about this also makes me ever so slightly sad too, because it means finally closing the chapter on these two as Sky and Prapai, and welcoming the start of a new era for them as two different characters.

So start making your wish lists dear friends. What are we hoping to see in this new series? All I desperately pray for is that this isn't a misdirect. PLEASE for the love of god, give us the goodies.

Honestly i am sad because from beginning - i am deeply in love with JaFirst/LeoFiat and they incredible chemistry and i am pleased with Don’t Say No The Series , i loved it 😌 it’s no suprise it’s my favorite BL so far 🥰
