The more I read the books, the more I marvel at Sam's DEEP understanding of Lestat. Not only does he GET him but he has managed to PORTRAY his true essence so very vividly. That takes an insane amount of talent and commitment, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for this casting decision of ALL TIME.
