Diluc helping you on your period.. his warm hand resting right where it hurts most, fighting off the pain.

Diluc using the pressure of his hand to keep you pressed close to him, slowly thrusting into you. Using his other hand to draw circles into your skin, running it up and down your body, just really exploring and soothing.

Diluc totally uncaring about any complaints of how "gross" it might be, happy to deal with any mess, as long as /you/ are happy.

I do think that he’d be the perfect partner, narrowly beating out thoma only because diluc can take the day off with no repercussions and thoma probably would still have to tend to his duties! a big pyro man who will just lay there and try and gently reassure you as best he can? perfect.

howdy nat!! im so obsessed with yr writing and thats why I can trust only you with this request: risotto (or poly bruabba) trying to care for an s/o with debilitating period cramps?? i mean like, laying in bed all day with a heating pad, doped up on pain medicine period cramps. i just need a Strong Italian Man to cuddle me while i Suffer!!!! thank you so much in advance 💘

i’m. dealing with this as we speak. here’s some soft bruabba headcanons,

Bruno and Abbacchio work well as a team to try and ensure that you’re as comfortable as is humanly possible. Both of them absolutely hate seeing you in pain; Abbacchio, surprisingly, is rather worse at dealing with it. There’s always a flash of worry in his eyes when you groan and shift in bed as if you’re about to die - he knows, realistically, everything is going to be fine, but the very idea of losing you eats away at him. 

So he’s very much whipped when it comes to taking care of you. If you suggest something even in the most off-hand way, Abbacchio is already on his way to try and pick it up for you, no matter what it might be. You want that expensive chocolate only sold at that one chocolatier on the other side of the city? Abbacchio is already calling up Bruno to come and take care of you whilst he fumbles for his car keys. If you want to watch a movie, Abbacchio is already settling in next to you and making sure that the volume is loud enough for you to hear. If he touches your heating pad and it’s anything less than boiling hot, he goes to make it even hotter. 

He’s not good at talking to you when you’re doped up, though. When your words come out all jumbled up and confusing and your voice sounds hazy and far away, he panics a little bit - but thankfully, Bruno has him covered on that one. Bruno could listen to you talk about anything - and besides, he has plenty of experience listening to Narancia ramble on about things he doesn’t quite understand. Bruno makes all of the noises he should as he strokes your hair from his face, and even if he doesn’t know what you’re saying he still stores it away in his memory so if you mention something again later he can seem like he understood it. 

Abbacchio is willing to carry you to the bathroom if needs be and the cramps are so bad you can’t stand straight - and no matter how heavy you are, Abbacchio was a police officer and he can lift you and support you at any rate. He let his body go, briefly, in his worst state - but now he’s happy and content, he likes to keep strong and healthy (if his weakness for sweet foods often trips him up). 

Both of them are just grateful that you want to be with them. They take your bad periods in their strides - they’re perfectly content to cuddle with you and kiss your forehead and rub your stomach where it hurts the worst. Bruno tries to organise doctor’s appointments with the best doctors in Naples, because he doesn’t think it’s normal and he wants to help - and woe betide any doctor who tells Bruno Buccellati that you should just learn to deal with the pain.

okay, your mom doesn’t believe in (your) PTSD so she just can’t be your soundboard for the question of whether to cancel the stressful doctor’s appointment. that is a useless exercise and must be abandoned. 

potential reasons to cancel

-you’re supposed to be avoiding stress for your stomach and this is the opposite of that

-you have meetings Friday you have to go to, so you’d have to go to the doctor and then directly back to work, which is not what you planned!  

-can you even get this type of testing/ultrasound done while on your period?

reasons to not cancel:

-it was a really hard appointment to get and you might not be able to get another one for like 2+ months.

-also just see if maybe you can miracle your way into a soonish reschedule?

-can you ask your gastroenterologist without having to give her your whole Tragic Backstory?
