i can’t stop thinking about that one midge campbell line where she’s rehearsing her script and she asks her lover to remember her as a blur in the rearview mirror.
thinking about how it must feel for jones to hear that line after he loses conrad in an automobile accident.
all the ways in which conrad speaks anew in the mouths of his characters, communicating in all sorts of unexpected ways. and how much that hurts jones.
Finally starting 'Do Not Detonate' (the book about inspirations for Asteroid City) and as well as admitting a lot of Conrad is Tennessee Williams, Wes has also said he's a mix of William Inge and Arthur Miller.
(This also makes it kind of funny to me that Mercedes Ford takes a lot after Marilyn Monroe)

Summary:
Conrad and Jones are settling into their new relationship, but a busybody friend may throw a wrench in their plans.
OR
Schubert is sad, Jones is a touch jealous, Conrad is stuck in the middle of it all, and Mercedes wants nothing to do with do with this particular mess.
- I may move Schubert out of the Earp-Hall residence and into Mercedes’ flat, as the house was built with the idea of housing other characters in mind.
File Two:
- Midge and Dinah Campbell have moved in next door to the Steenbecks!
- Midge is pursuing a career in comedy while Dinah is an aspiring gardener who still views the stars through her telescope from time to time.
- Their home is mildly Kardashian-West inspired, as it’s all very white on the first floor.
- June, Montana, Dwight, Billy, and Bernice are across the street from the Campbells— Despite not having a built home, yet.
- Each child’s aspirations are set around creativity with their own unique flairs.
- Dwight has matching “party” outfits with Montana.
Why do we not make bikes and cars like we used to, but just configure them to operate with the current standards and technology provided of this day? I have a problem with this, maybe because I'm mentally an old man.
LIKE YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU DON'T WANNA GO BLAZING DOWN THE ROAD ON ONE OF THESE ON A SUNNY DAY?
OR ONE OF THESE BEAUTIES? They're so pretty and I wish to have one that isn't a rust bucket and a pain to maintain.
