Got tagged by @shortsighted-owl for 7 sentence Sunday! Here’s a bit from… uh… the sequel to proposal fic which itself still is nowhere near finished….

God, the Franklin Mountains trip, a long standing staple of Hart-Montgomery Elementary School. Time feels thin back here in El Paso, and Eddie can so easily recall Tony Navarro snoring in his ear as Eddie stared through the tent roof up at the stars. Then helping Sophia get ready for her turn when she hit first grade, a ball of energy who’d looked forward to it all year. Then Adriana, looking so small as they'd driven away, face pinched up in the way she had when she didn't want anyone to see her cry.

"Eddie," Adriana says, almost a plea, wearing an echo of that expression.

And it’s Eddie who lets out the sob this time, the sound helplessly shaking up out of his chest. How could they drive away? Their kid needed them, how could they drive away? “I’m married. I got married. To Buck. I told mom and dad.”

The results are in, and Aiko will be representing Czechia this year with Pedestal! Personally, I’m not too enthused with this result. Even as a studio cut, I wasn’t overly impressed by Pedestal as a song. The pop rock sound is kind of up my street, and I like the overall energy, but it’s also nothing I haven’t heard before. The chanting chorus doesn’t work for me, even recorded it sounds shouty, and live it was really rough. Aiko really needs to work on her breath control before May, but that wasn’t the only thing going wrong with her performance vocally. Changing the choreography would definitely help, personally I think they should just scrap everything from the ESCZ performance and rework staging from the ground up at Eurovision. You can’t rule anything out, especially this early in the season, but if Aiko delivers a performance anything like the one we saw last week, Czechia will really struggle to qualify.

It was a shame to see such a huge gap between the international and Czech votes. Unless I feel particularly strongly about the song, I prefer it when the artist who wins the local vote wins overall, and between the two I liked Elly’s song more, although I wasn’t all that fussed by either. Maybe Pedestal will grow on me over the coming months, but I’m not expecting much.

The fan favourite, Eddie wasn't dead when they left him in the upside down, Billy finds him, they must fight together to get out, but with a twist: every cycle starts with Billy gasping for air and scrambling to close a chest wound that... Isn't open anymore. Every cycle starts with Eddie flinching violently to get away from the bats.... That turns out to be Billy's hand gently shaking him to wake him up. Billy's not aware than a whole year has passed since his death, they figure out that they're in some kind of loop and have to figure out how to break free before el closes the doors (and somehow save Max in the process)

At least 3 Barça Youtube/twitch streamers have said that Messi is trying to come back to Barça for weeks now: Felipe Mellado, Antonio from Territorio Blaugrana and the infamous Gerard Romero. Romero said today there’s 60 percent of a chance be will come back and that Barça’s legal team are trying to figure everything out for his return. Antonio said Xavi is the one making it happen the most and that Antonella and the kids want to come back. Felipe has said it’s been clear for him that Messi wants to come back from the info he’s been getting….. Muchaaaachoooos ya nos volvimos a ilusionaaaaaar
