this is a largely meaningless observation but, based on the fleki uniform demonstration comic, mithrun seems to wear the default style of the canary uniform, probably because he has no desire to personalize it or preference for how to do so, etc. when he does seem to pick his own clothes, though, they don’t look super in-line with what we’re shown of elven clothing styles in his region: high collars look like they’re fairly popular with elves in general, but out of uniform he tends to be a lot more covered up than everyone else—long sleeves, long pants, boots rather than sandals, and he dresses that way both prior to getting eaten and after the events of the series. anyway it’s kind of cute that after everything that happened to him, someone cared enough to remember what his clothing preferences used to be.

Some people are saying that Buck and Eddie's cheating is the same and I'm just like....

Buck didn't choose to cheat, it was a series of events that someone else initiated and he went with in the moment. He felt bad and yes he lied about it and made some mistakes but he did feel guilty the whole time. He still fucked up but in a different way

Eddie has actively chosen to do this, he flirted, he said he was a single dad (which okay fair if you don't see Marisol as a Co parent maybe just as a babysitter) but he followed up with it's just him and his son (further making a point he's single) he went out of his way to follow this path and yes his feelings with Shannon have complicated it but he's chosen to lie and walk this path and although we've just seen the beginning and we don't know what will happen he seems to be okay with it

Yes both are cheating/have cheated but it's vastly different levels to it.

it's  officially  midnight  here,  which  means  i'm  allowed  to  post  this!  so ...  happy  one  year  anniversary  of  enduring  the  plague  of  avalon  upon  your  dashboards!  alternatively,  thank  you  so  much  for  giving  me  a  place  to  babble  about  my  #1  favorite  comfort  character  who  has  experienced  zero  comfort.  (  i  swear  i  am  being  SO  NORMAL  about  this.  yes i did literally buy  cake  and  party  hats.  )  whether  we  speak  on  the  daily,  you've  just  gotten  here  or  anywhere  in  between,  i  want  to  extend  my  sincerest  gratitude  for  being  on  this  absolutely  wild  ride  of  a  blog  with  me.  there's  been  ups  and  downs,  but  ultimately  i  feel  like  my  passion  for  writing  has  been  ignited  stronger  than  it's  ever  been  before.  i  am  still  always  so  excited  whenever  i  get  the  chance  to  log  on  here  and  create  stories  with  all  of  you  —  and  i  wouldn't  have  that  opportunity  if  it  wasn't  for  this little  corner  of  the  internet  you've  helped  make truly special.

there  are  so  many  of  you  i  feel  lucky  to  have  met.  (  and  so  many  i  would  love  to  get  to  know  better,  too!  )  i  hope  we  can  continue  writing  together  for  many  more  anniversaries  to  come.  and  if  the  day  ever  comes  that  they  finally  pull  the  plug  on  this  cockroach  of  a  hellsite,  i'll  forever remember  this  community  as  the  rpc  that  got me to  laugh  at  petrichor.

The "why are people criticizing romance tarot readers, I don't want to do shadow work readings" shit I saw on here a few months ago did a lot to my psyche, mostly make me realize I should not be consuming that content as much as I have been over the past few years.

I also learned that anyone who has a problem with doing shadow work or self reflection readings but obsesses over romance are probably suffering with limerence like me and that snapped me tf awake

life is so complicated when u want to read something with an extremely specific vibe but can't find anything and don't have the time/skills/energy to write it yourself

like I'm so desperate to read something about people being stuck underwater/on the ocean floor for a concerning period of time and slowly losing their minds in the cold dark empty sea and battling with the fear of being completely horribly alone under the surface versus the possibility of supernatural forces existing alongside them + bonus points if there are survivors who return but when they come back they are unrecognizable and their loved ones can tell that there is something profoundly wrong or innately different (think underwater (2020) / our wives under the sea (julia armfield) / the creepy atmosphere in the cloverfield paradox (2018) where it feels like the vessel has a life of its own)
