My bad for not posting for like a month, im going through the wicked most dookiest worst art block rn🤢🤢🤢 but anyways here’s a mettaton (and oc OUUGHH AND METTAFELL) art dump😔

Hey, so real talk for a quick minute: I've alluded to having personal problems in real life, I think enough time has passed to talk about it - my mom was hit by a car in 2022, and a month after that incident I almost lost my job. If I didn't talk it much back then, it had to do largely with the fact that the car accident was a legal matter and I couldn't talk about it until the case was resolved.

Needless to say, this is why I haven't been making comics the past two years and been doing smaller posts. I actually somehow managed to singlehandedly prevent the company from shutdown and save my job (and pretty much everyone's job in that company), this while handling the legalities of my mom's car accident, but my brain is still in a funk state, and I gotta be honest for a quick minute that I am not yet at that state where I can mash out a comic every 3 to 6 months or so. Still mentally recovering to get back to that form of normal. TvT

That said, I can still create small stuff from time to time. You guys seem to like the MTT music stuff I post, maybe I might do more. Anyways, I don't draw Qull!Mettafell enough despite many of you expressing an interest in him. If you're on ComicFury, then you know what collab this image is for. It's now canon that he plays an electroacoustic guitar now. :>

Canonfell has a plot hole that I'd like to hear people's theories on- If Mettafell despises how he looks and just wants to look normal how in the actual hell did he fuse with the body? What stopped him from just flying out and saying "Alphys, this sucks, try again?" Is the implication supposed to be that he COULD leave whenever he wanted but is too whipped to?

My Mettafell vs Canonfell Mettaton

-His body is so odd-looking because it was designed to invoke a primal fear response in humans, a fact he initially enjoyed. But the promised glorious war against humans never came, so he's become little more than an odd-looking, contemptible thing in the eyes of others and deeply insecure under all the rage and theatrics.

-He is not at all a beloved figure, but he's well known due to starring in humiliating propaganda films alongside Burgerpants in order to stay alive and keep what little he has. Even for someone who wishes he could be famous, it's quite a psychologically grating, degrading thing.

-The whole "he has to fight his programming to talk" thing is not real. It's an act he's putting on to lure Frisk to the filming studio and kill them. He and Alphys are once again weaving a false narrative, only Alphys is playing the menace and he the abused creation that wants to help the human escape. Mettafell however has no plans to actually return the SOUL once he gets it though (also wanting to cross the barrier and escape this hellhole forever) and thus tries to fight Frisk on his own instead of alongside Alphys.

-He CAN close his mouth, but his body is broken as shit and so sometimes he'll show his mouthful of razor-sharp teeth in a vicious grin in an attempt to intimidate someone...only to find that his face is frozen like that. He has to get help from Alphys to close his mouth again. How embarrassing.

-He doesn't end up looking any prettier than he starts (he hates humans and mostly just planned to hunt them on the surface, why would be want to look more like one?) But meeting people who genuinely come to care about him and accept him for who he is helps him come to somewhat more peace with himself, and he even takes a bit of hard-bitten, defiant pride in his uncanny and unsettling appearance.

-He has proper edgelord spikes running up the sides of his hips instead of weird jutting hip bones.

-All 4 hands end in ridiculously long black talons. He eventually develops a fondness for decorating them.

Ok so new year eve mettaton is taking you shopping with him, He is trying on all types of clothes so he can look amazing for the new year party. So he’s definitely going to need your help deciding on what to pick. Metta does get tooo into shopping when it comes to clothes so eventually you got to be like “let’s go now we have other places to be” ;^^

After shopping Metta takes you to his studio. He wants to do a little new year segment on his show to wish his fans (and yours believe it or not you have some!) a happy new year. Mettaton would love it if you join in on the broadcast sense his feels his Beauty is lovely in the spotlight just like him 🥰

Once that is done you and him go back home and have a little cool off time sitting down and just relax together before getting ready for the party. Small conversations about various things like upcoming events, a little gossip ofc, just about anything that pops up. The little times when you are alone together are absolutely the best. Mettaton is such a caring and loving person and even a little goofy at times. He absolutely loves having these little moments together with his darling 💗

The party has started!! and you know Mettaton has it all decked out, plenty of foods and snacks, MTT brand adult drinks and MTT non adult drinks…glitter..everywhere.

I see Mettaton taking so many pictures with his s/o for memories and to post online. Some pictures of you and him are super special to him, so he decided to keep them to himself or hang them up on a wall, or even sometimes put them on his makeup stand so he can admire the sweet memories he’s shared with you tonight.

A couple minutes before the new years countdown he would pull you aside and say something like

“ I love you so much gorgeous, let us shine bright together as we take on a new year~”

Once the clock strikes 12 he would cup your face and bring you in for a gentle kiss.

Ooh, all right then... I am high-key obsessed with Underlust Mettaton/Underfell Mettaton as a ship (though tbh I very much prefer the pre-2019 "edgy tormented goth" Mettafell you saw sometimes vs the Canonfell one). They meet via Temporal Shenanigans and end up becoming an unlikely source of support for each other. They're two people (er, robots) that never got enough love in a harsh world and found it in all the wrong places (cont)
