Thinking about MF!Sans finding you roughed up because of a bad encounter from some unrelated criminals (or even related ones that don’t know how important you are to him)

He finds you hiding your face from him while he’s trying to flirt, and for some reason you’re quieter than usual, not responding to him in the jokey “hey stop!” fashion you usually do. Then he starts getting curious and even a little fussed when you keep insisting on looking away from him until his hands close around your wrists and pry them away…

His expression falls when he sees the bruises, changing from playful to gentle concern. He cups your face, apologizing when he accidentally prods you too hard.

“darling… who… did this?”

He makes a dark face when you tell him who, but when you ask him to stay with you a while, he answers with “of course, doll.”

He spends the night taking care of you- you’d never know there was such a soft, caring side to him before this, thinking he was all bravado, looking for someone to bed with him. But he doesn’t make a comment or joke about stuff like that while he compresses your bruises and sits on the floor next to your bed and waits for you to sleep.

And when you do sleep, well…

Tommy

He gets the nyctophobia thing. Being a mob boss doesn’t really lend itself to restful sleep.

Hate to tell you that both humans and monsters need to sleep at some point though, so Tommy makes it his mission to get you to bed as easily as possible.

If your relationship is the type where you sleep in his bed with him, be that every night or just some, he makes sure to keep his room as comfortable for you as possible.

You got nice lamps giving off a very low ambient light. You got a bed overflowing with nice, soft blankets and pillows perfect for you neck.

He only does this for you btw, that man could sleep on a cement floor like it’s the queen’s bed.

Hell, he tries very hard to be home more often to help you get to sleep. If your somniphobia stems from a sense of safety (or lack thereof) there’s nothing safer than one of the scariest boss monsters and mob bosses around.

He’s willing to do damn near anything you ask if it’ll help you sleep. Massages, stories, he will even sing for you if he knows it’ll help. He’s not great at singing for the record. Fine, good even, but not great.

Hint: ask him to hum instead <3

On nights where you just can’t sleep no matter how hard you both try, he’s prepared to stay up with you to keep you company.

If you live with him, he installs nightlights and ambient lights in every room so you can walk around at night. If you don’t live together, he does the same thing. He just gets more obnoxious about checking them because he’s not over every moment of every day to make sure none of the bulbs blew.

Python

You want a man you can bond over having a sleeping fear with? You got him right here. Python is a Don. Can you imagine how bad his anxiety must be?

At first, your mutual sleeping fears will blend into a cesspool of anxiety and paranoia. It. Sucks. After you two have a heart to heart about how the other looks like garbage and has been barely functioning, y’all will come up with solutions.

Python has massive safety/security fears that makes it hard to sleep. You two come up the idea to install a state of the art security system that’ll alert Python the second there’s trouble. You explain your specific issues and you both come up with the most perfect, foolproof solution.

Naturally anxiety and phobias are by definition irrational, so this isn’t a perfect fix. That’s what you have each other for! Python makes some delicious teas, so on nights where one, the other, or both can’t sleep, he’ll get up and make some.

He’s definitely more of a wait until the fear passes enough to sleep kind of guy, but if you express that you aren’t and want to get to sleep, he does his best to help. In a similar, if not more stilted manner, Python does some similar stuff to Tommy. He’s willing to talk and tell stories. If you need him to just drone on so you can sleep, he will. You will hear about budgets, and territories, and resource allocations. It’s some of the most boring stuff in the world, but whatever helps right?

Nyctophobia he gets in theory.

Like, yes he understands that you have a fear of the dark and he even gets that there’s a lot of things that could stem from. But honestly? He’s so used to working at night and he’s able to handle himself that it’s never been a real concern for him.

He obviously is willing to help though. He offers to buy a nightlight or dim lamp to keep in your room. If you two sleep in the same bed ever, he’s gonna grumble about it.

Python is the kind of guy that needs absolute darkness to sleep. He gets you a nightlight no matter what, but he will also treat himself to a Very Fancy sleep mask.

He will never tell you that he’s been practicing acclimating himself to sleeping with more light because he wants to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. No way.

Bro you ave no idea how much I liked dusttale!sans back in the day…. It was crazy. Now that I’ve matured I see all his glaring flaws but he still has a special place in my heart despite my general dislike for aus.

I just can’t get over his design. He’s just so angsty and I like that a lot lol. Plus he’s also purple and a villain which is also a mega plus. Still, I wish he had an actual story line. The thing with sans centered aus is that they exclusively hang out with other Sanses and do power fantasy schticks. That’s fine and dandy (u do u) but I want a stand Alone dusttale that explores other characters!( main gripe: THEY ALWAYS UNDERUTILIZE PAPYRUS and UNDYNE). It also always bothered me that his whole story is way out of character for canon sans but eh ….it’s an au and he’s purple so I’ll let it slide

He really likes sitting with you while you work.

Depending on what specifically you work with (i.e. how big the loom is) it might not be relaxing perse but he sticks around anyway.

honestly, that man can sleep through a train derailing he's probably napping while you work.

He lovessss all the clothes you make him.

He probably won't wear it out very often because he doesn't want it to get dirty and messed up, but trust that he lives in it at home.

The one exception he has to wearing what you make him out is to formal events where he isn't concerned anything is going to happen.

He loves to gloat about how you made it just for him and everyone else should be dropping dead with jealousy.

Tommy only really accepts one or two tapestries from you because he doesn't have that many places he could put them.

Assuming at least one is pretty large, one goes in his office and sits on the wall behind his desk. He loves pointing it out when talking to prospective business partners.

The second would go in his (or your shared) bedroom on a sidewall so he can look at it while falling asleep.

Python

This guy is pretty much the opposite.

He loves any tapestry you make him and slowly builds a collection so he can switch them out seasonally.

He also displays them in his office for similar reasons but prefers smaller pieces to display on sidewalls rather than behind him.

Since he works behind the scenes and isn't getting as dirty nearly as often as his brother, Python is much more comfortable wearing the clothes you make him day-to-day.

He actually really enjoys matching his suits to the shirt you made or vice-versa.

If you work on anything larger or louder than a small tabletop loom, he probably isn't hanging out with you while you work. Poor guy is far too prone to migraines for that.

He prefers you make his formal attire, and will help prep everything you need to make him look perfect.

Yes, he does buy you some of the highest-quality threads to use for your art.

Mars

A bit stressed about being able to return that favor because he sees how much time and effort goes into one bolt of fabric or one tapestry.

You are going to need to convince him to take it.

He makes a request pretty early on to make sure any clothes you make are dark because he works outside with his brother a lot and doesn't want to have the stains show on your hard work.

He helps you sew to ease his conscience.

Regardless, he loves wearing what you make him and practically lives in them.

Tapestries tend to get to him more.

He's comforted by the fact that they are display-only but is still a bit itchy about not being able to repay the effort.

While he likes to mount smaller pieces to the walls, anything of significant size is actually used as a decorative blanket and rotated out randomly to mix it up.

Jupiter

Screams cries dies.

He loves everything you make him and will cook you a lavish meal to return the favor.

He is super good about cleaning everything super well, so you don't need to worry about him staining your hard work.

Make him linens. He is outside all the time in the hot sun all day he needs light and airy clothing.

He is actually a bit confused by the first tapestry you try to give him. Not necessarily because he doesn't know what one is or anything, he just didn't really consider it would be something a person would gift to someone that isn't like. royalty or something.

No matter the size, he tries to use it as a blanket the first night.

After that he's fine.

He does the same thing as Mars and treats a few pieces as decorative throws.

One tapestry is currently being used as a curtain.

He really loves everything you make him and cherishes it with his entire soul.
