Miyuki Koorikawa grew up in Aichi, Japan with her mother, father and her younger sister Arina. Her family are pretty wealthy. Her dream is to become a great singer when she got older. She did not have many friends, She doing singing as a hobby. Miyuki had always been an aspiring ice skater, but was interested in Beyblading, observing the neighbourhood children battle each other from a distance after practice. Her parents, concerned for her safety, did not want her Beyblading with the others as yet.

When she turned six years old, her mother presented her with the Beyblade, Blizzard Cygnus containing a beautiful swan BeySpirit that Miyuki immediately took a liking to. At first, she was not used to launching her Beyblade and keeping it spinning which discouraged her but she did not give up. A few weeks of training and watching the other children, she learned how to launch her Beyblade properly. Eager to show the others, she decided to show off her moves against another girl in front of a crowd. Fired up and passionate about her first battle, she was not unhappy from losing but instead vowed to become better and soon the best blader that Japan has ever seen.

At the age of eight, she had grown both in strength and in confidence and put ice skating off to the side to focus on her skills as a Beyblader. Miyuki was acquainted with all the other kids that lived near her and was told about a junior Beyblading contest that was taking place by Arina, who had signed her up already. Although nervous, Miyuki was pumped and eagerly agreed to participate and came out in second place. She was excited about her win but even more excited about discovering a new special move: Ice Crystal Assault.

One day when Miyuki goes to elite school. She heard from another girl that they're going to have a new transfer student in their class. That when the sliver haired boy name Tsubasa Otori came in. Miyuki thinks that he was cute and want to be his friend. Tsubasa sat next to Miyuki. Miyuki smile at him and introduce herself to him. He smile back. She would like to be friends with him. He responded yes. They became friends. They hang out alot. They getting along great.

When Miyuki was older, she decided to have a Beyblade battle practice. During a practice session with her Beyblade at a nearby gym, she ended up running into her childhood friend, Tsubasa. Excited to see him again. She was going to spend time with him, They decided to catch up on the time she missed while she was away with him over lunch, and later met with Tsubasa’s friends.  She became friends with the others, such as Madoka and Kenta. More powerful than when she was a child, Miyuki decided to take on Gingka Hagane and display her newfound skills. Madoka, Tsubasa, and Kenta all came to watch the unfolding of the challenge she presented. It was a tough fight and both Beyblades took a reasonable amount of damage. Even with Miyuki's Cygnus’s special move, she ended up tying with the powerful Blader. Gingka congratulates her, and remarks on how strong her Blader's Spirit is and how much stronger it could be if she kept believing in herself. They shake hands and she smiles, content with her victory, not in battle, but in herself and spirit which made her feel victorious. She soon joined Battle Bladers, wanting to achieve her dreams of becoming the best. However, things took a turn for the worst when she faced off against Ryuga. She was thrilled with excitement, and nearly managed to defeat him by putting up an amazing fight while taking so many of Lightning L-Drago’s attacks, but Ryuga used his dark power, which nearly destroyed Miyuki's bey. She sadly forfeited the battle, feeling saddened by the loss, but Madoka vowed to fix up her Bey and make it good as new again.

Before the World Championship, Miyuki spent time with her sister Arina to to recalling her past endeavours up to then. She was so happy to see them and expressed her feelings about Beyblading, while later introducing Arina to Tsubasa and the others. Miyuki then tells Gingka and the others that she Yoko, Risa, and Nichiko are going to be on Team BladeValkyrie, with her as the team leader. Excited about the World Championship, they agreed that they all make it their objective to have fun! Team BladeValkyrie managed to defeat Team Korea and Team Mexico, the next round leading to GanGan Galaxy and Miyuki was excited. Nichiko battled against Masamune and won. Reika battled Tsubasa, and nearly won until Tsubasa's dark power took over and caused him to nearly destroy Reika's Bey, which she ended up losing. Finally, Miyuki battled against Gingka, but lost to him.

After a break, BladeValkyrie got a second chance and battled against Team Starbreaker, which won against them and nearly outed their team from the tournament. Upon going against Damian, he traps her and Cgynus inside Hades’ Gates, but they break out of the chains and Miyuki almost manages to pull out a spectacular victory against him with her strongest Special Move: Sub-Zero Cannon. Both attacks collided, causing a massive explosion that covered the entire field in smoke. As the smoke slowly clears, it reveals Cgynus has stopped spinning with a stadium sleepout, while Hades barely managed to keep spinning,

During the Hades City incident, she, along with Yoko, Risa, and Nichiko help Gingka and many others fight against members of the HD Academy alliance.

A year and a couple weeks later, after the defeat of Hades Inc and the destruction of the Spiral Core, a strange event occurred. A new Star Fragment similar to the one that created Storm Pegasus and Lightning L-Drago exploded and spread out twelve beams of light that fell on Earth, hitting and enchanting eleven destined Beyblades. These Beys would prove to help in a time of darkness, as the legend of the star foretells.

Miyuki journeys with Gingka and the others to find the Legendary Bladers to help defeat Nemesis, as well as becoming one herself, which represents Earth. It was the danger of the battle against Rago that made her realise her obvious crush on Tsubasa. As the time came for Gingka and his group to depart, Miyuki was unsure on how to confess her feelings to Tsubasa. While walking through the forest of a nearby park they'd met, aimlessly wandering deep in thought, she accidentally trips on a root and nearly tumbles into the river, only to be caught by Tsubasa. He comments on her clumsiness and how she should not make it a habit. Nervously laughing, she tells him that she hopes that he could be by her side to help her when she can’t help herself, and confesses her affection for him.

Oh look it's the grandma boss and his 7 gremlins.

A lot of brainrot happen here and this is the start of this AU where my MFB OC-Sadahiko is the new manager of BTF (Bright to The Future) post-Zero G:

Formerly an undercover agent from WBBA, Sada was send to the newly established young organization-BTF, with the purpose of getting employed as their new manager. The end goal was to lead BTF merging into the WBBA, becoming a smaller section in the bigger organization.

To the adult, BTF is a minor threat yet still a hush of a once threatening organization, yet not that big of a deal. So with time, the WBBA slowly tried to secure their assets and potentially trying to take control over it. This is where Sada came in to the scene.

But later on, through thick and thin, not only Sada didn't get BTF to become a part of WBBA, he and the team successfully made it's own thing, becoming what is known as "the WJBBA" or "West Japan Beyblade Battle Association".

The team is rough around the edge, coming from an semi illegal company to actual legal company with it's employees that was previous dubbed antagonistic. Where will this goes? We will see

Miyuki journeys with Gingka and the others to find the Legendary Bladers to help defeat Nemesis, as well as becoming one herself, which represents Earth. It was the danger of the battle against Rago that made her realise her obvious crush on Tsubasa. As the time came for Gingka and his group to depart, Miyuki was unsure on how to confess her feelings to Tsubasa. While walking through the forest of a nearby park they'd met, aimlessly wandering deep in thought, she accidentally trips on a root and nearly tumbles into the river, only to be caught by Tsubasa. He comments on her clumsiness and how she should not make it a habit. Nervously laughing, she tells him that she hopes that he could be by her side to help her when she can’t help herself, and confesses her affection for him.

Miyuki Kooriya grew up in Aichi, Japan with her mother, father and and her younger sister Arina. Her family are pretty wealthy. Her dream is to become a great ice skater when she got older. She did not have many friends, She doing ice skating as a hobby. Miyuki had always been an aspiring ice skating, but was interested in Beyblading, observing the neighbourhood children battle each other from a distance after practice. Her parents, concerned for her safety, did not want her Beyblading with the others as yet.

When she turned six years old, her mother presented her with the Beyblade, Frost Archaina containing a beautiful Arctic Fox BeySpirit that Miyuki immediately took a liking to. At first, she was not used to launching her Beyblade and keeping it spinning which discouraged her but she did not give up. A few weeks of training and watching the other children, she learned how to launch her Beyblade properly. Eager to show the others, she decided to show off her moves against another girl in front of a crowd. Fired up and passionate about her first battle, she was not unhappy from losing but instead vowed to become better and soon the best blader that Japan has ever seen.

At the age of eight, she had grown both in strength and in confidence and put ice skating off to the side to focus on her skills as a Beyblader. Miyuki was acquainted with all the other kids that lived near her and was told about a junior Beyblading contest that was taking place by Arina, who had signed her up already. Miyuki thinks that he was cute and want to be his friend. Tsubasa sat next to Miyuki. Miyuki smile at him and introduce herself to him. He smile back. She would like to be friends with him. He responded yes. They became friends. They hang out alot. They getting along great.

When Miyuki was older, she decided to have a Beyblade battle practice. During a practice session with her Beyblade at a nearby gym, she ended up running into her childhood friend, Tsubasa. Excited to see him again. She was going to spend time with him, They decided to catch up on the time she missed while she was away with him over lunch, and later met with Tsubasa’s friends.  She became friends with the others, such as Madoka and Kenta. More powerful than when she was a child, Miyuki decided to take on Gingka Hagane and display her newfound skills. Madoka, Tsubasa, and Kenta all came to watch the unfolding of the challenge she presented. It was a tough fight and both Beyblades took a reasonable amount of damage. Even with Miyuki's Archaina's special move, she ended up tying with the powerful Blader. Gingka congratulates her, and remarks on how strong her Blader's Spirit is and how much stronger it could be if she kept believing in herself. They shake hands and she smiles, content with her victory, not in battle, but in herself and spirit which made her feel victorious. She soon joined Battle Bladers, wanting to achieve her dreams of becoming the best. However, things took a turn for the worst when she faced off against Ryuga. She was thrilled with excitement, and nearly managed to defeat him by putting up an amazing fight while taking so many of Lightning L-Drago’s attacks, but Ryuga used his dark power, which nearly destroyed Miyuki's bey. She sadly forfeited the battle, feeling saddened by the loss, but Madoka vowed to fix up her Bey and make it good as new again.

Before the World Championship, Miyuki spent time with her sister Arina to to recalling her past endeavours up to then. She was so happy to see them and expressed her feelings about Beyblading, while later introducing Arina to Tsubasa and the others. Miyuki then tells Gingka and the others that she Yoko, Risa, and Nichiko are going to be on Team BladeValkyrie, with her as the team leader. Excited about the World Championship, they agreed that they all make it their objective to have fun! Team BladeValkyrie managed to defeat Team Korea and Team Mexico, the next round leading to GanGan Galaxy and Miyuki was excited. Nichiko battled against Masamune and won. Reika battled Tsubasa, and nearly won until Tsubasa's dark power took over and caused him to nearly destroy Reika's Bey, which she ended up losing. Finally, Miyuki battled against Gingka, but lost to him.

After a break, BladeValkyrie got a second chance and battled against Team Starbreaker, which won against them and nearly outed their team from the tournament. Upon going against Damian, he traps her and Archaina inside Hades’ Gates, but they break out of the chains and Miyuki almost manages to pull out a spectacular victory against him with her strongest Special Move: Sub-Zero Cannon. Both attacks collided, causing a massive explosion that covered the entire field in smoke. As the smoke slowly clears, it reveals Archaina has stopped spinning with a stadium sleepout, while Hades barely managed to keep spinning,

During the Hades City incident, she, along with Yoko, Risa, and Nichiko help Gingka and many others fight against members of the HD Academy alliance.

A year and a couple weeks later, after the defeat of Hades Inc and the destruction of the Spiral Core, a strange event occurred. A new Star Fragment similar to the one that created Storm Pegasus and Lightning L-Drago exploded and spread out twelve beams of light that fell on Earth, hitting and enchanting eleven destined Beyblades. These Beys would prove to help in a time of darkness, as the legend of the star foretells.

They shake hands and she smiles, content with her victory, not in battle, but in herself and spirit which made her feel victorious. She soon joined Battle Bladers, wanting to achieve her dreams of becoming the best. However, things took a turn for the worst when she faced off against Ryuga. She was thrilled with excitement, and nearly managed to defeat him by putting up an amazing fight while taking so many of Lightning L-Drago’s attacks, but Ryuga used his dark power, which nearly destroyed Reika's bey. She sadly forfeited the battle, feeling saddened by the loss, but Madoka vowed to fix up her Bey and make it good as new again.

Before the World Championship, Reika spent time with her cousin Katelyn to to recalling her past endeavours up to then. She was so happy to see them and expressed her feelings about Beyblading, while later introducing Katelyn to Tsubasa and the others. Reika then tells Gingka and the others that she Yoko, Erika, and Nichiko are going to be on Team BladeValkyrie, with her as the team leader. Excited about the World Championship, they agreed that they all make it their objective to have fun! Team BladeValkyrie managed to defeat Team Korea and Team Mexico, the next round leading to GanGan Galaxy and Reika was excited. Nichiko battled against Masamune and won. Erika battled Tsubasa, and nearly won until Tsubasa's dark power took over and caused him to nearly destroy Reika's Bey, which she ended up losing. Finally, Reika battled against Gingka, but lost to him.

After a break, BladeValkyrie got a second chance and battled against Team Starbreaker, which won against them and nearly outed their team from the tournament. Upon going against Damian, he traps her and Archaina inside Hades’ Gates, but they break out of the chains and Reika is almost manages to pull out a spectacular victory against him with her strongest Special Move: Sub-Zero Cannon. Both attacks collided, causing a massive explosion that covered the entire field in smoke. As the smoke slowly clears, it reveals Archaina has stopped spinning with a stadium sleepout, while Hades barely managed to keep spinning,

During the Hades City incident, she, along with Yoko, Erika, and Nichiko help Gingka and many others fight against members of the HD Academy alliance.

A year and a couple weeks later, after the defeat of Hades Inc and the destruction of the Spiral Core, a strange event occurred. A new Star Fragment similar to the one that created Storm Pegasus and Lightning L-Drago exploded and spread out twelve beams of light that fell on Earth, hitting and enchanting eleven destined Beyblades. These Beys would prove to help in a time of darkness, as the legend of the star foretells.

Reika journeys with Gingka and the others to find the Legendary Bladers to help defeat Nemesis, as well as becoming one herself, which represents Earth. It was the danger of the battle against Rago that made her realise her obvious crush on Tsubasa. As the time came for Gingka and his group to depart, Reika was unsure on how to confess her feelings to Tsubasa. While walking through the forest of a nearby park they'd met, aimlessly wandering deep in thought, she accidentally trips on a root and nearly tumbles into the river, only to be caught by Tsubasa. He comments on her clumsiness and how she should not make it a habit. Nervously laughing, she tells him that she hopes that he could be by her side to help her when she can’t help herself, and confesses her affection for him.

Years after the events of Nemesis, and working happily at the WBBA, Reika was married to Tsubasa after a long while of knowing and working alongside each other. She still Beyblading, trains newcomers to the sport. She soon became a mother and has a daughter name Reiko.

His life is partly affected by L-Drago related event but there is not much details about how it happened.

Sada is more of a "I thought I was doing the right thing" guy who got himself in an evil workplace and almost got sweep into the Hades cult.

But (maybe by luck and misfortune) he got fired before that became a thing.

And ended up becoming chairman out of the awareness of evil workplace's ethnic.

Sada's bey is Balladeer Sika (based on the deer deity in Japan mythology)

Seize by SpringZephyr was probably one of the first fics i've read for mfb on ao3. it's so funny and idc that everyone is kinda ooc, kyoya as several guys' first gay experience is somehow hilarious to me, don't judge me.

Kyoya and Affection by @andro-dino is actually the cutest and i really love the polycule of kyoya/hyoma/tsubasa PLUS nile which just makes it better. yes, give him allllll the boyfriends.

Darkness in Triplicate is so just wow incredible, i fell absolutely in love with this fic. i've always loved this trio and felt like you could do a lot with them in fan content bc yes they totally trauma bonded over the dark power possessing them and yes they have never had a decent conversation with each other. the possiblities!!!!!!!!

finally Ursa Minor is a fic i adore bc,,, what if they were actually friends? and what if they spend some casual down time together? and what if they watched bad movies and painted each others' fingernails? i'll tell you what. fuzz and feels and every good warm thing. that's what.

Ushiwamaru and Benkei is a popular japanese tale. It's a legendary take on the meeting of two historical characters. Benkei is described as a giant in comparison to other people. He's ambushing people on a bridge, attacking them, beating them and then stoling their weapons. Then, one day, Ushiwamaru decides to cross this bridge. Benkei attacks him but Ushiwamaru wins easily. It's the first time someone beat him. Benkei tries several times but Ushiwamaru always wins. He gets upset but Ushiwamaru asks him to accompany him in his travels, because he needs his strenght to accomplish his quest. Benkei accepts and gives Ushiwamaru his absolute loyalty. (In fact, his loyalty and his abnegation are his main characteristics.)

In Beyblade Metal Fusion, there are several similarities with Kyouya and Benkei meeting.

-First, despite being the same age the other members of the gang, Benkei is much taller and bigger than them. They all look like frail besides him.

-Benkei ambushes Kyouya under a bridge but there's a bridge nevertheless.

-Kyouya wins easily against him. Countless times.

-Kyouya notices his uncommon strenght.

-After their encounter, Benkei is mainly characterized by his loyalty toward Kyouya.

The main difference is that Kyouya doesn't ask Benkei to accompany him, but Benkei chooses to. But, knowing Kyouya, his "do as you want" after Benkei tells him he'll follow him is a welcoming with arms open xD

Another scene often depicted in anime as a reference to Ushiwamaru and Benkei is Benkei's death scene. He dies standing, to protect Ushiwamaru, weapons piercing his body but not making him fall. In Beyblade, Benkei isn't the one with this scene but…

Here is the new MFB OC I’ve been working on. Her name is Fifionne and she’s a character I made after being inspired by the Sessho-Seki in Japan and just the overall nine-tail fox motif. I’m still debating on whether she will be a more goofy or serious addition to the MFB verse but we’ll see.

Same as the Elysse reference I posted months ago, here is some basic info of her.

Name: Fifionne (It is not her real name, in fact, she seems to constantly change her name but everyone else as agreed to just call her Fifionne or Fifi)

Age: 18-19 (Fury)

Height: 5′7 or 5′9 (like half-an inch taller than Hikaru)

Ethnicity: East Asian (It’s ambiguous but it’s probably Chinese, South Korean or Japanese, maybe a mix of all of them? Haven’t decided)

Status: Single

Occupation: Blader.

Bey: Divine Fox (Not sure of the spin track and performance tip yet but it’ll either be attack or stamina). Unlike Elysse who added a nine-tail fox motif to her bey for aesthetics, Fifionne truly embraces her nine-tail fox bit-beast.

Suddenly, I’m tacking “Silas Carlisle is Kyoya’s kid” to my fic based solely on my Discount Kyoya joke.

And a related plot.

Sometime 7+ years after Shogun Steel (the anime), Kyoya and his 6-year-old stumble on a Magic Thingy, which then transports them to the Burst universe.

Stuck in this new world where nobody knows his name, Kyoya thinks of it as an escape from Ryuga and an opportunity to Start A New Life. They eventually get from Japan to the city BC Sol is in (or are conveniently dumped there, you pick). An kindly old but childless couple, the Carlisles, find them and take them in. After months of paperwork, the two are now living full-time with the Carlisles. Kyoya Carlisle (nee Kishatu, in the MFB world, cuz Ryuga forced him to Or Else) and Silas Carlisle. This Silas’ birth name is the deadname in the cis way. New Backstory. Silas scarcely remembers Ryuga, for the best, and King, Shun, Mimi, Benkei, Gingka cuz Memory Is Like That. So Kyoya tells him the stories himself. The two bring up their pre-Burst past to nobody, not even the kindly couple, not to anyone. Of course, in order to not stick out, Leone is converted into the Burst format, and Kinetic Satomb is born (Baby’s First Bey is back in the old universe).

And everybody but these two are Betas (no smell n’ all), and I’m pairing Silas with Valt (starts as Simp, but Valt and Shu might agree to poly with him). The heat is explained away as “a mysterious sickness~”

Extra plot if I’m feeling Generous:

King, Shun, Mimi, and Benkei stumble upon the Magic Portal Thingy and also get transported. Right around just after Valt joins BC Sol.

Or just King.

They barge into BC Sol, in the gym, on a non-canon day. King, smelling the familiar smell of his (self-imposed(?)) little brother, calls out Silas by his deadname. Silas, playing dumb cuz New Life and Nobody Knows, gets Angwy and tries to kick him out too. Too bad King is too strong. Silas has enough. So he marches up to King, and yells, “I don’t know how you know my old name,” he dies but won’t tell, “but my name is Silas now. Silas Carlisle.” And proud of it!So Silas gives him the condition, “I’ll fight. If you can beat Free.” Cuz you know how strong Free is. King obviously agrees, also cuz Fun Bey Battle.

“Here are the conditions, I’ll be ref,” King is not rushing him, “Free’s Drain Fafnir is a left-spinning Bey that steals the spin strength of his opponents.”

“That’s no problem for the King of Beyblading.” Points hsughtily at himself and laughs evilly.

“The Bey Battle you will be fighting is a 2-point system. First to 2 is the winner. If you get a Stadium-Out—a Ring-Out Finish—then Free gets 1 point, and vice-versa. If you get a Sleep-Out Finish, he gets 1 point, and vice-versus. If Fafnir explodes—a Burst Finish—then you get 2 points, thus winning the match. Obviously, a tie doesn’t count.”

“No problem for the King, Silas!”

King, obviously tremendously improved since Fury, is quite the match for Free. To the shock of everyone (except Silas, who only has mild surprise cuz Suspicions From The Stories). No Burst Finish cuz Free is Like That, but he was at the end forced to put his all into it! Or he did Burst, idk. Three battles were needed. King narrowly won, 2-1.

So Silas heavily sighs and says, “Christina, I have to check out early. Gotta take King to Daddy, per our agreement.”

And the settlement is in the city, a good walk away. They see Kyoya, the oldest Omega goes into a panic, and King catches him. They later move inside to a private-ish room of the Carlisle residence to Spill the Beans.

So in this AU, Silas is less pessimistic and is more, “Never give up on an opportunity. You gotta take them, whatever the cost, even if it has a less-than-1 percent of success!” which is inspired by their hidden backstory, of course. And now with this intervention, King sticks around for his Daddie and Little Brother and we continue fucking up canon.
