YGO ARC-V is an adventurous journey of dimension hopping where the protagonist, Yuya Sakaki, had undergone some soul searching to develop his dueltaining other than to find his friend, Zuzu Boyle, who'd gotten sent adrift, to bring her back home. The depth of Yuya's character is intriguing along with the connection between him and his counterparts in the other dimensions, which is also tied to Zuzu and her dimensional counterparts. Yuya's association with his archrival, Declan Akaba, initiates the progression towards developing his dueltaining skills. Their Action Duels have an entertaining aspect to them for keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. “Can You Feel The Power” is a great catchy, upbeat opening theme to emphasize on the entertainment presented in their duels. Michael Liscio Jr impresses with his varied voice characterizations of Yuya, his energy and emotional tone at times, and the other Yu-boys. Emily Jenness is good with her vocal delivery on making Zuzu and her counterparts distinctive from each other. Daniel J Edwards is effective in portraying the entertaining quality of Dennis McField, especially with his singsong voice while demonstrating his showmanship, and voicing a dark tone when he's serious. The pacing for its first two seasons is good with the second season paying homage to the 5D's series well. However, there's a noticeable drop in the quality somewhere in its final season where it became rushed with the Zexal and GX series' homages being short-ended.

arc-v is truly the most epic highs and epic lows of yugioh--unfortunately we have to watch a yugioh woman get screwed over by the writing AGAIN. (SORRY ALEXIS I LOVE YOU ALEXIS.) but also on the flip side this is some of the MOST bonkers kickass voice acting ive heard in any yugioh dub. michael liscio jr. went hard as HELL on this read!!! AND IT RULES.

So I went to go look up who did Z-Arc's voice cuz he sounds a lot like a certain Mignanananana and wow. Michael Liscio, Jr is pretty damn talented cuz I thought he only voiced Yuya.

Not strictly Diode-related, but here’s the best clip I can find of Michael Liscio Jr. (Clemont in the English dub) performing as Trekkie Monster (the brown hairy one) for Avenue Q. His solo is near the very end.
There’s also a delightful clip about theater etiquette with the Bad Idea Bears talking to harassing him during a production.

I gotta admit, from DM to 5D's, some of the characters' English voices were actually decent. At least they made Shō/Syrus and Johan/Jesse sound like young boys instead of girls (granted, they were voice by female VAs. For most of the female characters' voices were pretty good, too. I still don't know why they gave certain characters, like Jack, accents (not to say all of were bad, just weird). ARC-V has the worst cast (no disrespect to the VAs, but they were miscast by the company. (1/2)
If FUNimation does get the rights to the YGO series someday, I’d like to them to keep Dan Green as Yūgi, Matthew Charles (real name Matthew Charles Laborteaux) as Jūdai/Jaden, and Greg Abbey as Yūsei. I think their voices fit the characters pretty well, and honestly, I think a lot of fans will riot if FUNimation replaces Dan Green as Yūgi. xD With a better ADR director, I think they will be able to fully maximize the VAs’ range, intensity, and talent and make the redub AWESOME. :D
No disrespect to Eli Jay (Yūma) or Michael Liscio Jr. (Yūya), but their voices do fit their characters. Kristi Reed’s reels of FUNimation dub for ZEXAL with Johnny Yong Bosch as Yūma was better, but I think it’s a little too deep for someone like Yūma and I wouldn’t cast Vic Mignona as Shark since his voice is too light for the character. Michael Liscio Jr.’s doesn’t suit any of the Yū-boys. Period. For Yūsaku, I think Josh Grelle would fit. What’s your dream cast for the YGO characters?

With the dub, I think the talents of the VAs are overshadowed by the cheesy dialogue. I understand 4K feels they “have to” censor certain things, but in the process a lot of needlessly stupid lines get thrown in. I think the dub’s greatest strength is that it’s funny in a lot of places the original is not, but when it’s out of place it just becomes awkward, even cringeworthy. And then, I’m sure the VAs are also being told to act in an over-exaggerated way, furthering the misconception that they just aren’t good at what they do.
Honestly, I don’t have any specific VAs that I would prefer seeing, just because I’m not engaged with the dub to anywhere near the same extent as I am with the original. I see a character’s VA (and seiyu tbh) in the same way I do their deck archetype: whatever happens, happens. I will agree that Yami/Yugi, Judai/Jaden and Yusei’s dub voices flowed with them more than Yuma and Yuya’s.
As for Vrains, I maintain my original predictions that Yusaku’s voice will still calm and deeper than Yuma or Yuya’s, but with a youthful twang. I think Aoi’s to be a bit deeper, or at least more deadpan, than most YGO girls because she not as overtly feminine (at least not irl). Ai’s voice will probably have a robotic hum to it. Something tells me that they’re going to give Akira a random accent, which would just be… great *eye roll*. As a sympathetic antagonist who probably has a dark backstory, Revolver’s voice will probably be raspy; this may or may not be the case for him irl, depending on how ‘good’ he winds up being. And I can’t really guess what Shoichi’s voice will be like, but you can expect every other line to contain a hotdog pun.

As ygo dubs go Arc V is actually pretty decent.
While there are a few questionable voice choices- like in how a character should sound there aren’t any voice i actively hate. Imo they’re all fairly tolerable at least, nothing ear grating. I suppose closest would maybe be the choice on Shuzo and what they apparently decided would be a good voice for him but it doesn’t bother me as much as it first did.
The only other being like Jack’s voice and why both the VA and the voice director decided that yes good he should sound like angry Cockney accented Bakura (basically Y.Bakura but with a slightly thicker accent) but I know that really just comes from the fact that’s how he sounded in 5ds so why bother changing it right. Again though eh I can tolerate it and I wouldn’t say it’s a bad acting job.
Surprisingly dialog hasn’t been like butchered in editing, sure you got your funny dub moments but then you go back and realize some of the moments were about as silly in the sub.
They know how to let a scene be serious.
They don’t do a lot to tone down the violence or try to soften it make it seem not as bad as it is or anything.
Tbh some of the dub lines I think are only slightly darker sounding the whatever the original line. Or at least manage some dark implications.
Still get to see Shun bustin his way out of prison
-”Sweet Baby Shay”
Any edits to the monsters are less on the part of 4K and more distribution edits made by Konami -presumably to make them look like how the cards over here look like with the Frightfurs having glowing blades.
I honestly think a lot of this comes from that 4K is now working under/with/for Konami instead of you know being their own big ol company making whatever edits they can get away with.
At the beginning I was a little nervous but honestly I’m pretty excited to see how things go.
Also goddamn props to both Michael Liscio Jr. and Emily Baur - They do the voices not only for Yuzu and Yuya but for all of their counter parts as well (Michael also does Yusho’s voice too)

So according to dynamoduskull's post Yuuya's confirmed dub voice actor is Michael Liscio. Whiiiich means that Yuuya will sound at least somewhat similar to that ^ right up there. To be honest, I think that his voice will fit Yuuya more than Clemont! Mainly because Yuuya is older, and Micheal Liscio clearly sounds way older than an 8-year-old boy, and Yuuya will likely be 17-ish when Arc V ends, since normally they age two or three years during the series. Ono Kensho and Michael Liscio are sorta close in age, and also have a similar sound to their voice, so I'm glad they didn't give dub!Yuuya too much of a different sound. +45 points to the Arc V dub.
