Sing AU: Best Christmas of All
Having a plot similar to Mickey's Christmas film is one thing (I imagined being snowed in at the Moon Theater would be a plot for a potential Christmas special), but I doubt that they would canonically sing the same song (with Disney being too stingy to share their stuff), though it would still feel right for the Moon crew and others in the cast to sing it.
If there was an "even enemies are friends at Christmas" principle applying to the cast singing the big heartfelt Christmas carol, I guess even Jimmy Crystal and the bear thugs would be in the chorus (after all, their actors, Bobby Cannavale and Jim Cummings, can sing). If that was so, maybe it would be a non-canon promotional sense.
Nooshy, Jimmy's bodyguards, Jerry, Miss Crawly, Meena's grandparents, Klaus, Marcus, Stan, Barry and Judith are not pictured because I'm not sure if any of them can sing, and Nana's not there because though Jennifer Saunders can sing I'd imagine she's lost the ability to sing with age, just like Julie Andrews has.

DTVA/DTS TAGTEAM TWEET-ATHON MOVIE #34: MICKEY’S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS: SNOWED IN AT THE HOUSE OF MOUSE(2001)
Well, that made me feel all warm and fuzzy, and that’s something I needed in these trying times...
First of all, this is pretty much a long episode of the show “House of Mouse”. Now, that show was essentially a package show for old WDAS Mickey & Friends shorts as well as the then-recent Mickey Mouse Works shorts.
The idea was pretty standard, but the execution was what made it special. Essentially, all of the shorts are being shown as entertainment in a nightclub for Disney characters run by Mickey and Friends.
This idea is so bonkers, but it really works. All the best moments are watching the various Disney characters interact with each other (even if their animation styles clash horribly). I also like the group dynamic of the Mickey gang in this series.
Anyway, I digress. The nightclub gets snowed in, so Mickey decides to have everyone stay the night for a Christmas Party. This is a cute setup, even though there are several characters present who have the power to melt the snow.
Anyway, they start showing shorts to cheer up Donald, who is being contrarian for no reason. The shorts are fun enough, a 60s era Pluto short, a couple Mouse Works ones, and a Nutcracker adaptation. That last one is just a showcase for how underrated Ludwig Von Drake is.
It all culminates in the classic 1983 WDAS short, Mickey’s Christmas Carol. It saves me the trouble of reviewing it by itself. So, I’ll just say: it works as an adaptation despite its short length, Scrooge is perfect, the cameos are cute, it’s a classic go watch it.
So yeah, despite it all, this is a cozy little Christmas special. It was nice to just have an excuse to revisit this series, and it won’t be the last time we do either...
9/10: The fact that they had never built a real House of Mouse restaurant in Disney World is criminal.

Last year I tried to draw Mickey, Minnie and Mortimer in The Nutcracker. The plot would be from the House of Mouse short, but instead of Donald as the Mouse King it would be Mortimer. Should I develop this idea?

Fun fact: the only appearances Mickey makes in the WDAS are both Fantasia films (1940 & 1999/2000) and Fun & Fancy Free (1947), Walt's last time officially voicing him.
(Also, I love how over half of these are Christmas films lol)
And yes, technically, Mickey's Christmas Carol and The Prince and the Pauper fall under the "Disney shorts" category, but to me, they are long enough to make it onto this list. The other films were pulled from the Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment list. And before anyone asks, I decided to NOT include either Goofy Movie nor the DuckTales movie for this list.
Happy voting! ❤

The cover for the DVD of Mickey’s Magical Christmas: Snowed In at the House of Mouse.
Personally, I think it’s very cute, especially with the other characters from classic Disney films happily seeing Mickey about to come inside with Mushu peeking out from the present he’s carrying.
It was such a charming Christmas special featuring all of our favourite Disney characters from all of the classic movies and shorts while heartwarming moments and a lovely Christmas song at the end. I do hope everyone shares the same sentiment and affection for Snowed In at the House of Mouse as I do.
Happy Holidays!

Christmas at Cartoon Network Villains Club (Christmas Special Dream Story)
[Rating: 10+]
[Characters: Flicky(my persona), Lord Ego, Lord Ego's imp minions, Mandark, Red Guy, Mojo Jojo, HIM, Katz(non speaking), Le Quack(non speaking), Father, Delightful Children, Cree Lincoln, Agent Trout, Jasper and Scoutmaster Lumpus]
[Inspiration from Mickey's Magical Christmas - Snowed in at the House of Mouse]
[I dreamt about spending Christmas Eve at a club made for Cartoon Network villains, however the portals to their universes were frostbitten so the host/owner of the club decided to celebrate their Christmas with a party]
Today was Christmas Eve at the Cartoon Network Villains Club, the inside is showering lots of snow across the studio and many of the rooms. Many of the Cartoon Network's villains are seated, clapping and cheering to their valuable host and club's owner; Lord Ego! "That's the end every villain and thank you very much for spending a wonderful Christmas Eve with us prideful demons. And having a safe trip to your ho, ho, homes!" says Lord Ego, joyfully at the guests! As everyone heads back to their universes, Ego was in backstage with his small imp minions. "Great work our pridefulness" says the female imp. "With everyone heading home, we can now celebrate our Christmas together my lord" says the male imp! Then their new guest Flicky came in and said, worryingly "Lord Ego, They can't go back home" "How?" asks Lord Ego "The portals to their universes appear to be frostbitten" says the receptionist imp pointing at the entrance. "Now my dear, how bad can I really be" says Lord Ego while walking past the villains until they are in front of them and they stopped and said "Oh..." The portals of the universes the villains live in are all frostbitten, meaning they are all stuck in forever. "Damn it!" says Father, facepalmed. "Well, my delightful children. Guess we couldn't go back to mansion to celebrate our Christmas" says Father, by his Delightful Children. The villains think for a minute until Lord Ego thought of something, something that can help the villains enjoy their Christmas... together! "I have an amazing idea my loyal ones!" Then Lord Ego jumps and levitates himself with a grinny smile, saying to everyone "We all can celebrate our jolly Christmas party right here" "Good one Lord Ego!" says Cree, as everyone heads back to the main studio.
Then it cuts back to the main studio all decorated festively and Christmas music playing. "Hot cocoa and cookies, comin right up fellas" one of the serving imps says, by carrying a stack of plates with white mugs of hot cocoa. Then the imps set up the tree and one of them sets the fireplace and they ask one of the villains for help "Hey Father! Would you light this baby up?" "Well... alright!" Father shrugs it, then unleashes a snap of his fingers, making into a flame, and then he releases his flame at the fireplace. Then many of the imp minions carry over the tree and decorate it with tinsels, baubles and the bright, shining star on the top! "Everything's is all decorated festively for the day, villains!" Ego responds, with joy in his villainous heart. "Hey, our Lord!" An technician imp peeks out on the studio's control room. They asked "Want me to set up the videos for them to watch to?" "Happy to, my delightful minion. Start it up!" Ego replies.
With a couple enjoying the entertainment of many videos playing, and chattering around eachother brings the year's loyal and honourable friendships with the guests

Do you have a favorite holiday movie? (Whatever you like to watch around the holiday counts, there doesn't need to have menorahs or trees in it) what about a favorite cookie around this time of the year? (Or confectionary/treat if you're not big on making cookies during the holidays)
Well I think I don't have a favorite holiday movie rn, I like to watch a Christmas carol and The polar express (even tho their animation gives me the creeps lol) but when I was a kid I LOVED 'Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse' with my whole heart lol, that was definitely one of my favorite things about the holidays.
Aaaaand about the cookies... Idk I love those boxes of assorted Christmas cookies, they seem to appear out of nowhere in my house and I'm a huge fan 😂 but!!! There's this cookie that is basically my all time favorite, the Noel sultanas, they're not an exclusive holidays treat but they usually come in those Christmas cookies settings so 😅 I'm addicted to them. I also love those panettones, especially the chocolate one.
These are the Noel sultanas, they're really simple but I just adore them u.u:
