CLAY PIGEON COMMISSION DETAILS
Commission Slot List
Please see my price list for approximate prices, as well as examples of the shapes/sizes of pieces I can make
Commissions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
I reserve the right to refuse any commission
Please send me a private message to arrange a commission—not an Ask (you can also email me at [email protected] but I am more responsive here)
and I’m still accepting dibs on my unfired original pieces
I will make copies of my existing pieces, or work with you to create something new
I can make a close copy of my own work, or I can change the colour and carving choices
If it’s a new work, I will send you pictures of the sketch for your approval
Large scale revisions can only be made during the sketching phase. Literally. Once it’s carved, there’s very little I can do to change it.
Small additions or adjustments can be done right after the piece is carved, when I send you pictures, that is the time to mention anything you want changed.
Please be detailed in your description and send reference pictures if possible
I don’t charge extra for original pieces, despite sketching time
WAITLIST
If you ask for a commission when the slot is closed, I have one waitlist slot for each type of commission. If the waitlist slot is open, I can put you on it after getting some details about your commission to confirm that it’s one I would be willing to take.
If you ask for a commission when the waitlist is closed, I'll ask you to message me again once the slot is open again.
I will do my best to give you an accurate timeline for when I will start your commission and when it will be completed.
PAYMENT, ETC
I take 20% of the cost of the piece before starting
You are responsible for shipping cost, on top of the cost of the piece (I can estimate shipping cost for you, but it won’t be exact until the piece is ready to ship)
I do all my transactions through Paypal invoices
All my prices are in CAD
Prices vary depending on size of the piece, the style of decorating, and the amount of detail
Commissions can take as long as six months, depending on piece size and kiln schedules
I will do my best to keep you updated about your piece’s status and approximate timeline, but if you have questions feel free to message me
If there’s a problem with the piece (warping, a flaw in the glaze, no longer food-safe, etc), I will either lower the price or remake it, if you choose
I reserve the right to refuse to remake a broken or flawed piece, but I will refund your deposit
Once the piece is finished, you have two weeks to arrange payment and shipping. If you communicate with me about needing longer and give me a specific date, I will hold it for you until that date. After that (and a couple reminders) I will make it available for other people to buy. I can’t hold pottery for people indefinitely
If you want a piece by a specific date, I will charge an extra $20 if I successfully get it to you on time, since it’ll mean juggling kiln time with other potters and coordinating with the studio’s kiln tech. I cannot guarantee that it will be done by a specific date, I work with a shared kiln and don’t always have access. The farther out you order it, the better.
I WILL
make portraits of people or animals
make prose or poetry into pottery
make memes into pottery
depict nudity or sex
depict blood, death, or gore
I MIGHT
depict original characters
depict fan art
I WON’T
copy another artist’s work without the permission of that artist
ONCE I'VE ACCEPTED
I will keep you updated with an approximate timeline and do my absolute best to get it to you in a reasonable timeframe, but…
Please remember that pottery is a slow process.
Once I build the piece, it has to dry for a few days up to a couple weeks before it’s ready to carve. And once it’s been carved, it can take a couple months to be fully dry, especially if it’s a large piece or a mug.
Drying pottery slowly prevents warping and cracking, so it can’t be rushed, and if a piece goes into the kiln before it’s fully dry, it will explode. Any moisture in the clay will rapidly expand as it turns to steam and literally blow the piece apart.
And, unfortunately, with a shared kiln, sometimes the schedule just doesn’t allow me to fire for a couple weeks.
Thanks for reading, I appreciate it!

I've wanted to do something like this for years now to be honest, so I'm opening up character popsicle commissions!! So come popsicle your guy!! Examples shown feature several friend's ocs they allowed me to popsicle 83 character owners are listed in order in the alt text
- Currently not limiting slots, because these are very fun to do and fast - Character will be simplified if they have long hair/complex markings or very protrusive detail to fit the style - You may request it to be more or less melty or drippy, but they will ALL be intentionally wonky
Disclaimer: I am also doing artfight at this time of year and I will be doing my best to balance both things, but this means your commission might take a tiny bit longer to get to since art fight is essentially a vacation for me for the year! I still really wanted to do these though, so patience is appreciated 💛
Reblogs are appreciated!!! message me to inquire about getting a slot 83

Commissions Open!!
Hi everyone its Mod Vash!
I've said in a previous post, but I'm trying to earn money to fly out to visit my boyfriend for his birthday. Due to circumstances outside of my control, I have to leave my job, so I'm relying on work from family and neighbors to scrape by, so I'm opening up some commissions for both art made by me and character edits! More information under the cut so this doesn't get too long. (cw some of my art might be mildly eye straining to some people)
Please keep in mind that I am disabled and will work as best as I can to get your commission to you, but I might not be as quick as some others. All the commission money will go to saving up to visit my partner for a milestone birthday and helping pay down some debts!
GOAL: $600 (flights + budget for out there)
Slots open: 5
I have synesthesia, so if you commission me to do art of your name or a song you really enjoy, I will draw what I see with it.
For a simple kaleidoscope (or similar) commission, it would be $5, here are some examples of what I've made for simple names with simple backgrounds. These are probably the fastest and easiest for me to make, as I can get a good amount of colors and shapes from names and sounds down quickly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The next tier up is still a synesthesia based drawing but it is more complex- a background/more detailed drawing. These will range from $8-15 depending on how complex you want the background and how complex the name/song is- ex, lacrimosa with a cathedral background would be $15 because that would take me a while, but the name Sasha and water would most likely be $8 or so since it would be easier and quicker. I only have one example of this, shown below. (Example would have been $10 due to shading and lighting)
Tumblr media
Moving on from synesthesia is character bust shots, probably my weakest skill- but I can guarantee I will try my best. They will start at $15 and go up depending on how complex the character, how long I think it will take me, and how much detail you want included. and I will only do bust shots since I'm not good at bodies yet. Complex backgrounds are an extra $2. Below are some examples of recent bust shots of characters I've made. The first image would be $15 since the background is simple and the colors are flat, but the 2nd would be closer to $20/22 due to the background being multiple layers and having skin and hair texture.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The last thing I offer (for now) is character edits, where you can send me a picture of a character and I'll edit them however you like. These will start at $5 and go up, $1 for each character in the picture and an $1 per picture in a set. Super complex edits (like adding a lot of new hair and texturing it, or changing clothes) would cost extra, but small edits like changing the hair style or adding/removing makeup or piercings or anything would not be an extra charge. (i.e, you want me to edit one picture with one character in it and that would be $5, one picture with 2 characters would be $6, a set with the same single character with 2 pictures would $6, a set with 2 characters and 2 pictures would be $8, so on.) I dont have a ton of examples of this since I haven't done it in a while but I have a few from a while back. Super complex edits (like adding a lot of new hair and texturing it, or changing clothes) would cost extra, but small edits like changing the hair style or adding/removing makeup or piercings or anything would not be an extra charge. These catra edits would have only been $5 since they were simple edits, just changing her hair color and adding some makeup and piercings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have a paypal, venmo, and a chime account, if your interested in commissions please dm me through here and we can work something out!

Hey everyone, I have some very important expenses coming up so I am opening up five commission slots! If there is something that you might be interested in but dont see it here, or have any questions feel free to shoot me a dm! I am willing to work on some larger scale things like title cards/backgrounds etc.
I can also do non pixel art styles, but those will take longer since I am not as practiced in that art and such.

Hey guys! Stuff has come up and I'm opening a few commission slots :) I'll stick info under the cut, there's no obligation to read it, just thought I'd throw it up here. Part of this is because of money and part of it is to build up a body of work for professional reasons.
I do three main kinds of commissions: characters, illustrations, and dress up games. You can specify lined or unlined. I can veer more or less toward anime too.
Character design: throw me an aesthetic and I'll draw your baby! Handy for D&D characters. $30 as a base rate, but that can fluctuate. Open to multiple variants or outfits. :D whether you have a solid idea for design or not, I can help!
Tumblr media
Illustrations: environments, with or without characters. Some are more complicated than others, and the rate depends on that, as well as style. Flat lineless is mostly easier and faster. Rates start about $60+
Tumblr media
Dress up games: one character with pieces to mix and match and some simple backgrounds. These are generally lineless, like the following examples. Complexity for these can vary widely, and the rate is about $150 for the most basic. If you're interested, reach out and I can offer more examples. These are delivered as .psd files (if you want them) and meiker.io links, or picrew if you'd prefer, the sites have different purposes :) (meiker is working on implementing downloads.)
Tumblr media
Other types of commissions I'll do, with examples and information available upon request, includes sketches, graphic things like those 5-color palette ones I did earlier, repeating patterns (like my header!), simple animations, and more business-oriented illustrations like headers, dividers, some typography, symbols and logos. I also do a select amount of traditional work; graphite, watercolors, oils or acrylics. A lot!
If you have something specific in mind, or a certain budget, reach out and we might be able to figure something out.
Thanks for reading this far! I appreciate it. Making art and writing has been one of those things keeping me sane the last little while, and it's my dream to do it and make a living. 💜

Adopts season +CUSTOMS!
Ya girl's got a need for new clothes with 100-120˚F (38-48˚C) dry Summer heat on the horizon, and no sight of employment, so it's adopts time! PayPal/Venmo, and CUSTOMS! (On DA, I will be accepting their on-site currency "Points" as an option, since it is convertible into tangible funds)
Yes, this season, I'll be taking custom adopts orders! Not just within Kirby, but most any fandom or original stuff! [Please know that I retain the right to deny a request if I am uncomfortable with fulfilling it/goes against my policies or morals]
I have a very short stamina for doing custom art for folks, which is why my commissions have been permanently closed. However, I seem to have a little steam left for designing characters, so I'm offering this up as an option! Might do a fusion sheet (totally inspired by my pal JumpyL123 , no shame) too later on in the Summer!
There will be a bit of an unusual thing regarding these customs, however, due to my stamina issue:
I will take only one custom order at a time.
No order batches like commissions, just one at a time.
If there's enough interested parties, I'll set up a wait list, though! <3
The reason being is so then I can focus on that one order, then have it worked upon and finished moments after said order is placed. I'll do as many as I have the energy to in a day (which might be like two or three at max depending on my energy levels/time), and won't take on another order until my current one is finished! My energy is pretty limited, so that's why I'll only take one at a time, because I cannot guarantee I'll always have the energy to do more.
Taking on several orders/requests at once has always overwhelmed me to where I'd get task paralysis and completely shut down from the pressure, so this new style is something I've been trying out for a while now and it seems to be working. I get it done immediately, and there's no pressure with a looming stack of more waiting behind it. It's lame, I know, and it'll require a bit of patience on your guys' end; I just need to take care of myself too in this way ;u;/
This new drawing technique I have allows me to finish art at a very alarmingly fast pace, so I assure it won't be a very long wait depending on requested details! At most a day!
The usual adopt sheets will have either single or multiple custom slots available on top of my pre-made designs! Of course they'll be Kirby focused, but I'm thinking of adding a twist in some of the themes! I'll leave some for you guys to vote on in later Polls! (suggestions are always welcome by the way!! I love to keep a list of 'em and try 'em out!)
BUT YEAH! That is all for now! I'll make a post later with rate and payment options, as well as open status!
If this customs system works out really well, I might consider bringing back my commissions! Those will be much more rare, though, since it takes much more effort/energy for me to make full illustrations. Sketches, mmmm maybe though HMMM

hello um i got a question how do i commission someone idk what to say do I describe what I would like in details or do I send them some references of it I'm just nervous to ask and I don't want to seem stupid or rude
Don't worry about it! It's initially a scary thing, but you'll get it.
When I first commissioned someone, I was ADMITTEDLY kind of an asshole about it. I won't go into detail but once I ordered my second commission from someone else, I changed my entire attitude and approach to it, and it's been immensely helpful.
I've ordered a ton of commissions over the last couple years and here's what I've learned:
First off, be nice! Cannot stress this enough lmao. You don't wanna come off as an entitled asshole demanding work because if you end up loving the piece and want to work with the artist again in the future, the artist likely won't wanna work with you again.
Before anything, research and see if their commissions are open. Some artists will have carrds, others will have tweets/pinned tweets saying they're open. If in doubt, just DM them and politely ask. Some artists may be busy or not taking any at that particular time, or some may not take commissions at all, and while that might suck or be a bummer, it is what it is! So find out first if they're even open.
Find an artist that matches the style you're looking for. Not every artist will fit your idea, and that's no shade to artists. Sometimes you have a certain idea in your head and someone's art style may not mesh well with that. Figure out what they're good at or willing to try by looking at their past work and commission info page.
When you find an artist's style you like, and their commissions are open, message them, introduce yourself, and say you'd be interested in ordering a commission. Usually I like to combine this with figuring out if they're open like "Hey, I'm Nix and I love your art. I was wondering if you take commissions and if so, if you have any slots open."
Check their prices before you ask tho, that should be on their commissions page. If you genuinely cannot find it, politely ask them where you can find the info. Make sure they're within your price range for what you want. You should absolutely factor a tip into this total price.
HAVE REFERENCES. I neglected to do this for a large chunk of my commissions and I have mentally kicked myself for this before. Artists are not mind readers and sometimes descriptions are hard to read or imagine. They're likely a professional artists and may have a MUCH different idea of what you want in your head. Get some photos of the characters you want if they're not familiar with them, get some poses together and locations if applicable.
In addition to references, draw up what you want in paint or something. I neglected to do this as well until recently but trust me when I say artists LOVE this shit because it helps them see exactly what you had in mind instead of guessing. This is an embarrassing part for me to do because my reference drawings of what I want end up supremely shitty looking but I do the best I can and add little harmless funny comments in the pic too to take a little embarrassment out of it for me (comments explaining parts of the piece may work here too).
Learn what your artist's timelines are, but be flexible and upfront about the work. If you seriously need the artwork soon, ask them if that's okay. Some artists will charge a rush fee to get it out sooner. If not, just ask for a general timeline, but don't be surprised if you get delays. Life happens and the world sucks.
Don't be entitled to times but don't also be a doormat. If your artist said you'd get a piece by a certain timeframe (like a month or something) and it's been a month and a half and they haven't said anything, ASK THEM FOR AN UPDATE. You're spending money on this and they should be doing the bare minimum of communication.
COMMUNICATE. The best artists I've worked with have taken literal MONTHS to complete pieces for me, but I've been fine with it because they've communicated when delays are expected to happen.
When the piece is finished, ask them what their usage terms are. Sometimes this will be on their terms of service page if they have one, but if you can't find it, ask them. Some artists are completely fine with you reposting the art as long as it's the watermarked version and tagging them or using it as a pfp, etc. Some are not.
If you love the piece, TIP THEM. I like to tip all my artists like 20% or more.
I think that's about it for the process!

I. kind of hope that the current news about AI generation is reminding people to actively support real human creators of all walks of life.
I'll take it as an opportunity to remind my followers that so much of the stuff I share is my creation! I have some substantial projects that take up a lot of my time. It made more sense in my head, but basically, what I'm trying to say is - if you like any of what I create - if you want me, and other people like me, to be able to justify investing so much time and effort into their creations, your support is everything.
If you think you may enjoy my writing:
Please follow my blog, @jkpfr, where I post short stories and poems in English and French
Please consider reading my Danganronpa styled story, Murder Fabrication, which is my longest running story (2018-present); it is a Killing Game with an all-original cast and a lot of text (and a lot of love) (from me) (the author).
You might be interested in following my AO3 profile, where though I'm not usually very active, I'm currently getting started on publishing a new story.
The majority of these projects are in English, which makes them readable to the majority of my followers - although I have plans to write more and more French as well, as it is my personal preference.
If you enjoy my drawings in any capacity:
My blog is @arollingriver. I post a lot of original characters, but I also enjoy drawing my fave rare blorbos.
My pixiv is also arollingriver
My icon commissions are open and currently have all 6 slots free. I can also offer halfbodies and fullbodies to trusted individuals suchs as friends or returning customers for a slightly marked-up price (compared to what I would offer if those were included on my board by default). Even if you don't plan on buying a commission, reblogs mean the world to me.
If you wish to support me through other means or to encourage me, I am also on Ko-fi.
Among my other creative endeavours and efforts, there are:
My vocal synth covers, which I publish to YouTube and SoundCloud
The many Wikis I have administrated and/or contributed to over the years for your reading pleasure
Right now, I am alone in taking care of the Akudama Drive Wiki
Finally, all the time I've spent writing a diversity of essays both about real-life topics and fiction. (Neocities mirror) (tumblr tag, with all of them)
Thank you for your consideration and support~ I honestly wanted to put it forward that I'm always working on something. All these things I create aren't just being down by themselves in the background. I spend hours upon hours - days - years on each and every one of them.

Hello! I'm Calhoun, role-player & general Tumblr nuisance, & this is @chaoticomms, my commission blog for RPC-related graphics & resources! This post serves as a rundown of rules and my pricing. Currently open and accepting work. Slots available: 5/5 Ko-fi donations
Tumblr media
GUIDELINES. I do my best to maintain a professional and prompt communication style with my clients. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. This is a sideblog attached to my main RP account, @writtenrotten, and I won't get upset if you DM me there, even if we don't write together! Discord handles can be exchanged upon request.
I don't use PSDs made by other creators unless I'm EXPLICITLY given permission to do so. I would prefer not to, however. I also won't wholesale recreate the designs of other artists in the RPC, or attempt to emulate anyone's style (unless, of course, I have permission). I currently don't have a form as I would prefer each customer to contact me personally so we can discuss what's wanted.
I'm flexible about payments and willing to negotiate if necessary. PayPal is what I prefer but I will also accept games from my Steam wishlist, Nintendo eShop or Playstation Network cards; graphics-for-art trades are also something I'm willing to consider!
Tumblr media
PRICING Again, I am willing to negotiate these, though more complex designs (basically, anything animated, or anything that requires a lot of photomanipulation) will always run closer to the higher end. All sizes are simply my go to dimensions, but are not set in stone by any means. PROMOS.Samples.Single panel: $5 - $20 - usually 540 x 300 Dual panel: $10 - $25 - usually two 540 x 300 panels. Triptych / three panel: $10 - $30 - usually two 540 x 300 panels with a 540 x 150 separation that goes between the two, or three 180 x 300 panels side by side. Four panel: $10 - $35 - usually four 270 x 300 panels, meant to go two side-by-side on top, and two side-by-side beneath.
MOBILE HEADERS. Samples. $10 - $50 Usually 300 x 700, meant to be used stretched, but can easily be altered. POST BANNERS. Samples. $5 - $10. I'll discount for numerous banners. (i.e. 5 $10 banners will be $40 rather than $50) CHARACTER MANIPS. Samples. $10 - $50+
ALL-IN-ONE PACKAGE. One promo, one mobile header, up to three separators, up to ten post banners, and a dash icon. $25-50 MISC ITEMS. Separators - $3 - $10 Dash icons - $5 - $10 Aesthetic boards - $5 - $20 Scene/simple character edits - $5 - $20 (Mostly just brightening and color adjustments of scenes from your character's media to make them fit your preferred aesthetic, or adjustments to pictures of your FC which don't involve heavy manipulation.) Interested in something not listed above and think I might be the person to make it for you? Don't hesitate to ask! I'm always open to experimenting with new graphics.

after many years of saying i would eventually do it ... commissions are finally actually open! details under the cut, limited slots open, dm me to get it sorted!
EDIT 8/24 : sketch page pricing changed + comics on hold for a little bit! everything else staying the same =]
PAYMENT: i can take paypal, venmo, and cashapp!
MULTIPLE CHARACTERS: to add an extra character is + $2/$5 for sketch, + $5/$8 for lines, + $8/12 for flats, and + $12/$15 for shaded! comics don’t follow this rule, but the more characters a comic has (as well as the complexity of their designs) might cause me to raise my price.
STYLE: i can replicate anything before seen on this blog, so if you’re looking for a particular thing ive done before (e.g. faux papercuts, halftones, etc.) let me know and i can do it! otherwise, i will go with my “default” style, as seen in the examples of sketch/lines/etc.
CHARACTER DESIGN: mostly i do dnd stuff, but if you have a non dnd character idea (e.g. “blueberry fairy with a bubbly personality”, “bug type gym leader who loves skorupi”) i will do that too! you can come with most of the look figured out, some details, no details, whatever, and i will try to stay true to your vision. i will also likely send a few concept sketches to test the waters before doing a final ref sheet.
DISCLAIMERS: if you request something i think is fucked up or something i cant handle, i reserve the right to reject your request. i am pretty subpar at furries, armor, and mecha, but will do my best.
thanks for reading! dm me here or email me at velvetcirrus @ gmail.com to talk about a potential commission! have a good day (mwah)
