I think human cop Nick Valentine was a bit less sensitive than synth Valentine.

Obviously he’s still compassionate and charming and I’d imagine he was the best fiancée to Jenny considering he loved her so much that it made Synth Nick NEED to take out Eddy Winters.

He was probably a stand up, handsome guy with a high rank, stable job and a beautiful fiancée. He was probably a little cocky. Like in the healthy way. He was confident and funny and could read a room well and make people feel at ease.

But Synth Nick. Oh my word Synth Nick.

He’s a tossed out, prototype monster made by the Institute that people hated.

That charming “I can get along with anyone” was suddenly wasted. Because they didn’t want to get along with him.

Without his Cop Valentine’s looks, rank, and friends and family. The best personality forced into a shell that didn’t fit it at all. No wonder that’s his main storyline, that must be an unbearable feeling.

The love of a woman he wanted to settle down with wasn’t even his. That woman loved NICK. Not this old synth.

So what does he do? Knowing he’s a shell of another man? He goes off a looks after people. Finds folks missing children, gives Ellie a stable living and career, tries to keep peace with people. He’s so desperate to have a legacy that’s not Cop Valentine’s that he puts himself on the line over and over. He gives up his brain to an experiment that could potentially destroy part of his brain, but he does it without hesitation because there’s a terrified parent looking for their stolen baby.

He wants to help and care for and support because when he woke up a synth, he had memories of love and care but the reality was no one wanted him anymore. So he goes off and cares for others so they don’t feel the way Nick does. He’s a broken, controversial shell with the ghost of a good man inside.

-charlie has a cousin! And she would be introduced soon in my account, her name is lottie.

-lottie and Terry used to have a platonic relationship in their teen years.

-charlie is a Little dyslexic(sometimes misprouncen word)

-charlie and Terry are some what like family is because lottie is barnaby wife so that meant they interact with eachother often!

-charlie is short for Charlotte.

-charlie absolutely hated when someone touches their wings, if you asked permesion first then she wont mind.

-charlie absolutely fucking LOVE Mille valentine. I like to imagine they would pickup Mille and they would just fly around the neighborhood.

For this day of relationships (romantic and platonic), here's some more vibrant versions of my Sweetheart Keychain designs. They were really fun to make, and had a good laugh about the Mammon one.

You can get these designs as keychains over on my store, as well. However, the Fizz x Ozzie one is currently SOLD OUT. I am looking into restocking this one within the next couple months, though! Playing Fallout 4 the first time, and becoming crazy attached to Nick Valentine only to learn you cannot romance him, is making me come up with some devastating fic ideas where Sole is forced to love someone else because Nick cannot love because it’s not in his programming. BUT SECRETLY IT IS SO HE’S SAD. WE’RE ALL SAD.
