Happy to share that I am now a certified NLP Practitioner! Learning a new field of communication and knowing the difference that makes the difference is the difference that most people are unaware of. This difference is what makes great leaders, coaches and mentors different from the rest of the world. Each persons different model of the world has different causes and is framed by different experiences in their different timelines. Learning how to value this difference while placing them to what you belief is a difference that only few great leaders know and they make a difference by pacing the situation to a win-win situations. THE MAN, THE MYTH, THE LEGEND... If you know anything about NLP or Hypnosis, then you've probably heard of Milton Erickson. He's considered by many to be the founding father of Modern Hypnotherapy and was the founding president of American Society for Clinical Hypnosis. He is noted for influencing a wide range of fields including strategic family therapy, family systems therapy and neuro-linguistic programming, which is where we'll be placing our focus. The original founders of NLP, John Grinder and Richard Bandler, were originally influenced by 3 individuals: Fritz Perls, Virginia Satir, and Milton Erickson. When the founders began modeling Milton Erickson, they began to notice specific language patterns that he would use over and over again. From there, they were able to extract 27 distinct patterns, which we now know as the Milton Model. These are very powerful language patterns, but like with anything, it will take time to master them.
