Has anyone ever written a RoyEd fic where '03 RoyEd meets their Brotherhood counterparts? The idea of the 4 of them being so similar yet having different relationships is just very amusing to me.

No yeah I've yet to find an active fandom on any platform 😭 there are people here and there but no major hub that I've seen. Someone once alluded to a discord server but idk if thats still a thing :((

In terms of general krattcest stuff I'm so 🥰 about them. Idk if you're asking for anything in particular, but I did post a Christmas fic for them the other day and I really hope to write more eventually!

I love the idea of Chris and Martin doing silly mating rituals as a form of flirting while the team is around. Mimicking bird dances, giving each other rocks, etc. Every new animal they research, they like to try it on each other at least one time. Though some definitely work better than others...

If you were to write another krattcest fic what would you write? Would you consider writing anything nsfw?

Tbh I've been chewing on an idea for them for a hot bit along the lines of them being stranded during an adventure (nothing serious, just them needing to pass the time until the team arrives) and doing a silly truth or dare thing. Idk I think it would be cute.

As for nsfw, I'm def not against it. I just haven't had an idea for something with them yet (tho I do wanna write them with pet play stuff at some point)

I feel like Freddy's initial reaction and realization would come much faster than Quentin's. Like he knows this isn't his doing. He can tell immediately that there is no longer a hold on him from the entity, but I think its his realization that he lacks any of his real power that fucks him up at first.

Then comes his realization that he's no longer burnt and scared - that he's back to his pre-death self. That of itself sends another wave of emotions through him because while you'd think he would be happy with the change, it really just serves as confirmation to him that his powers are gone. And if his powers are gone, what does he have

For the record, I don't think his powers would be completely gone? I think he'd still be able to use them to some extent, and maybe he'd just have to slowly grow back into them, I'm not sure, but I digress.

The other thing, though, with him missing his powers/being alive again is that I genuinely think he loses a lot of his core bravo (at least initially)? Intentionally or not he turns back into the sweet gardener-sona he was before - this is just superficially because this is still Freddy ofc its just that he 1. Isn't looking to get burnt to a crisp again any time soon and 2. It probably is a shock to his system at first how nice the people of Springwood are to him. It's probably so jarring. Plus, if their memories have been warped into them just thinking he left town for an extended period of time and only just now is coming back?

Imagine people saying that they missed him - that their kids missed him. Dude would be going through it.

Going back to Quentin, I do think it takes a few days for Freddy to get his own bearings before he realizes that if he's back, then Quentin is back. And that in hand is what pushes him to go out looking for Quentin.

In my head I just imagine this as a partial adduction. Like Freddy just grabbing Quentin and throwing him in the passenger seat before driving off, but There is something to be said about them being the only ones who know anymore. Despite how happy they both must be (in some way or another) to be free, to be given that 2nd chance, its equally as isolating. Years of trauma, torture, pain all gone physically yet carved into their brains. No matter how much they may wish to forget everything and live happily, they cant and I think it's this fact that draws them together.

It would definitely be a gradual decent, but eventually they'd come to realize that they really only have each other. There is literally NO ONE they can talk to without sounding crazy at best, or being locked up at worst. I feel like Quentin would try his best to stay away from Freddy, try his best at denying that Freddy is all he really has left of his old life, but in the end it would eat him alive.

I have a lot more thoughts on this/this AU but this post is so long so imma make a new one talking about their progression but AHH sorry I've had brain worms about them for days now.

I want a post-entity Fredtin AU where both Freddy and Quentin are sent back to Springwood and Freddy is alive again. Like he's alive and physically back to his pre-fire self. On top of that, I want everyone in Springwood to either have had their memories of him essentially wiped or rather just a vague distant memory of him- for everyone except for Quentin of course.

Quentin wakes up the day they return to Springwood as if the entity and the trials were just a bad dream. He probably thinks he's in a dream at first, that this is one of Freddy's more intricate nightmares for him to suffer through. He ends up going to school and finds that it's just a normal day - as if nothing had happened and he wasn't gone for years. He probably doesn't realize it's real until he finds himself home at night and nothing has happened and he goes to sleep on his own.

Eventually he ends up convincing himself that the trials and the entity were just one really intricate dream until he finally talks to Nancy and finds that she doesn't remember the events that took part during NoES which is weird because Quentin is sure that wasn't a dream, was it?

It all comes ahead probably when Quentin is heading home and finally sees Freddy (most likely standing next to a car near Quentin's street) and while he doesn't look like the burn scared Freddy he's more familiar with, he just knows it's him. That's Freddy.

Re my last post: I wanna write a small Fredtin fic where Quentin gets tunneled out by one of the other killers multiple times and then one day they just Stop. They stop chasing him, hooking him, literally avoid him like the plague and it isnt until he sees one of them with all too familiar claw marks that he realizes why that might be exactly.

AHHHH thank you so much 😭♥ Fredtin has been one of my favorite ships since 2017 but I've never made stuff about them before now!! I'm working on the fic slowly but surely so I hope I can have something more solid posted eventually. I might have some more snippets to throw out here until then though

I tend to focus on them in the DbD verse since there is something about them ending up in the fog together that really grips my heart. Like the despair of being stuck there together? Both of them missing Nancy for different reasons? Freddy obsessing over Quentin to a point of possessiveness? That's Freddy's boy. Do Not touch.

I feel like they just trauma bond over time. They know each other in such a unique way that no one else in the fog can. They hate each other but there is only so much you can hate someone who brings you that level of comfort when there is no escape. Freddy hates him but at the end of the day that's his Quen, and likewise Quentin hates him too but Freddy's also the closest thing he'll ever have to home as long as they're in the fog.

There is so much more I can yap about them ngl but I feel like I've already typed so much lol
