i truly need aeron who recently came out to his family and is ignoring the tension at home (nobody's been horrible but there's SUCH a tension it's suffocating) trying to claim who he is and getting all dolled up (and by dolled up i mean the euphoria type glitter that we all talked about ages ago lol) and going out with a friend and feeling confident and drinking which he doesn't normally do and having fun dancing AT THE CLUB like genuinely just a having a good time when he bumps AGAIN into the person he wanted to see the least (for drastically different reasons; one he has a crush on him, two he's an asshole who runs his mouth every chance he gets): davos. davos who is quite unaware of aeron's situation (davos is not straight either, and his family knows, but aeron doesn't) and he's just being his usual self, taunting the bracken boy. especially bc it's the first time davos even sees him in such a setting: a club. aeron does have friends and they go out and about but a club is not normally his scene, not from davos' pov anyway. davos is of course trying to get his attention while out with his buddies and says some mean things to him as usual. at first aeron responds with his own sharp remarks and then he tries to completely ignore davos. but the thing is.. aeron's confidence and this boost of energy and ethusiasm comes from the adrenaline of having just come out and trying to finally embrace himself openly, like trying to prove something he doesn't really need to prove. so when davos starts taunting him, at first he's just annoyed like he would any other time but this is different. he suddenly feels vulenrable. this is not what he normally does and suddenly he's so self aware. his movements start to slow down and he's looking around like "what am i doing? should i even be here?" and the thing is… aeron still has his own issues because of his upbringing that was a bit more traditional and faith based than davos'. so suddenly he feels overwhelmed by all sorts of thoughts and he also suddenly somehow feels embarrassed being watched by the blackwood too because look at him, he'd picked out a nicer outfit, he has glitter on his face.. what is he doing? suddenly it's too much and he can't breathe well

"I'm cold," whines Florida, flopping dramatically onto a couch.

"You might wanna try a shirt, sha," advises Louisiana.

Florida wraps his arms around Louisiana instead. "You're warm."

Michigan crosses his arms. "It's fifty degrees out. That's warm."

"I hate it," Florida complains.

"How do you survive the winter?" Illinois is frowning.

"Which one? Winter Park, Winter Springs, Winter Haven, or Winter Beach?"

"No, the season."

"Season?" Florida looks briefly confused. "You mean like... hurricane, or snowbird?"

Texas looks up from reading a book in his armchair. "If it's snowbird season, does that mean..."

"Yeah," says Florida. "Stand your ground."

"Oh my God, Florida, please don't be saying what I think you're saying," California says.

New York is beside him. "Eat lead."

"No, that's what you'll be doing," Florida says cheerfully. "I only eat lead paint."

"Sha." Louisiana shakes his head.

"I like it," says Florida.

California looks horrified. "You eat lead paint."

"I like it," says Florida, again.

"Oh my God." California hides his face in his hands.

"Just to clarify, Florida, people entering your state aren't attacking you," says Illinois.

"When they're from New York, though," Florida argues. "Or Chicago."

Illinois and New York exchange glances.

"I'm more than just Chicago," Illinois grumbles. "And those people are never from Chicago anyway. They're from the suburbs. Completely different."

"Florida wouldn't know the difference between a city and the rest of the state if it stood its ground against him," says New York, flipping Florida off.

"Hey! I have Cuba," Florida objects.

"It's Miami," says California, enunciating carefully in his annoyance.

Michigan facepalms. "He's going to cause us international relations issues."

"He's not the one with an international border, thank God," says Illinois. "Say hi to Ontario from me."

"And me," adds Louisiana. They don't look at each other.

"Talk about international relations issues," says Texas.

I want a post-entity Fredtin AU where both Freddy and Quentin are sent back to Springwood and Freddy is alive again. Like he's alive and physically back to his pre-fire self. On top of that, I want everyone in Springwood to either have had their memories of him essentially wiped or rather just a vague distant memory of him- for everyone except for Quentin of course.

Quentin wakes up the day they return to Springwood as if the entity and the trials were just a bad dream. He probably thinks he's in a dream at first, that this is one of Freddy's more intricate nightmares for him to suffer through. He ends up going to school and finds that it's just a normal day - as if nothing had happened and he wasn't gone for years. He probably doesn't realize it's real until he finds himself home at night and nothing has happened and he goes to sleep on his own.

Eventually he ends up convincing himself that the trials and the entity were just one really intricate dream until he finally talks to Nancy and finds that she doesn't remember the events that took part during NoES which is weird because Quentin is sure that wasn't a dream, was it?

It all comes ahead probably when Quentin is heading home and finally sees Freddy (most likely standing next to a car near Quentin's street) and while he doesn't look like the burn scared Freddy he's more familiar with, he just knows it's him. That's Freddy.

Okay I have had it with this "Lan Wangji has feelings" tag.

Of course Lan Wangji has feelings!

That was the WHOLE PROBLEM of his youth. He didn't know how to deal with his feelings. Just because he restrains himself and rarely outwardly emotes (unless with Wei Wuxian) doesn't mean he's an emotionless husk.

He feels so much that it overwhelms him, what do you mean "Lan Wangji has feelings"???

Where did this tag come from, why do you act like Lan Wangji doesn't feel anything in canon and only when you write him he does?

Also confused about the "Jiang Cheng has feelings" tag.

Dude, MDZS is filled with people who have feelings, very strong ones, which is why so much shit happens. Everyone in that world has feelings that they don't know what to do with.

post-show a few weeks ago i was talking to this group outside, and it having just rained, this fucking idiot asshole in an unmarked white van tries to pull up into a puddle on the side of the road and tries to soak us, and misses ALL of us. we werent nearly close enough to the edge of the sidewalk but this fuckin guy went for it anyway

then the bartender/bouncer comes out. big dude. definitely dont want him yelling at you.

but instead of yelling at the van, he starts talking to us, and starts this string of quite creative insults towards whoever was driving that van. i hear him say shit like "oh yeah white, windowless van, i know that guy has made some poor life choices" "i bet he buys bud light just to destroy it out of protest" "i dunno, im just gonna project all the things i dont like onto this fuck" and just kept going and going, i don't even remember most of the shit he said
