Poppy Playtime au: DawnDusk

After the Prototype killed Catnap and the player left, the Prototype decided to do something else with what's left of Catnap, and make use of what's left of that heretic as well.

And this is how DawnDusk came to be. A fusion of DogDay and Catnap's bodies.

"Two hearts, one hopeful, one hopeless.

Two minds, one devoted, one loyal.

Two bodies, together they make three voices."

DawnDusk is no perfect unification, not even close. Dogday and Catnap are both very well aware that they're in the same body, that in every way belongs to both of them. They hate it so much.

Their voices often are very easy to tell apart, sounding the same as they were before. Occasionally they'd synce together, becoming what those who've heard it before call "DuskDawn's voice."

They are two, and they are one. But here's one thing the three can agree on, they aren't the prototype's pet, not anymore.

The first one is a personal one for myself, the rest I'm going to sell!! I'll be keeping them in my purse in their own special bag. For the time being I just have pendants.

The last one is inspired by Secret Garden, the hardest one to make I'm selling for $45, the flowers are $25. I plan to offer similar designs with customizable colors of thread, background, and metal for similar prices.

i think the most sentimental gifts we receive are jewelry. it doesn't have to be fancy, it can be some yarn and even a couple beads tied together to fit our wrist. but it's what's most important. it's a show of pride; this was given to me by someone i love. this is a signifier of who i love. i am wearing them with me at all times. bracelets, earings, necklaces, rings. the stories they can hold, the superstitions and folktales in the symbolism of a bracelet, or a ring. it doesn't have to be diamonds and pearls, just to wear something, to show off to the world, something from someone we care about so much. it's our favorite display of love.

instagram keeps showing me advertisements for bras, which i guess is fair enough, i have spent a significant amount of time, money, and effort learning about and trying to find bras, except everything is all wireless bras, which i am Not About - they simply can't do the job--

anyway the past week or two i have been served ads for a particular company that feature a particular model and which i find compelling because of, uh, particular reasons, so tonight while talking to comrade d on the phone, i finally clicked through one of the ads to the company's page, and from there to the model's page, which is, sensibly and predictably, locked, but has a link to her own small business's page selling -- what else? -- crystals. so then i scrolled down that grid bc why not, right? and many crystals are already, well, phallic, so at first i thought it was just my brain playing tricks on me by inserting crystal phalluses into my peripheral vision but no, there actually was a crystal phallus pictured in one of the posts, and a basket full of miniature ones in another post, and then comrade d and i spent an hour clicking around this woman's website and giggling about the potential for the healing powers of mini crystal phallus pendant necklaces to close the gender pay gap and it really turned my day around, so thank you, kitty's crystals
