I picked it sucks because of disability but if i wasn't disabled i would have picked it sucks.

Teachers/Coaches were absolutely some of the worst and most insufferable people, with one of them at our school even being rumored to have been peaking at the girls???

I'd say exercise is fun, but the organized sports 1) kinda sucked and more importantly 2) didn't last longer than a week, making learning them kinda pointless as by the time you'd get used to it, we'd all have to move on.

Changing in front of the kids (especially because we were/are trans, but just didn't know it)? Don't think i gotta explain that one lol

And then yeah some trauma related to drowning made the swimming section of the year (which was like one of the only ones that lasted for multiple weeks) was essentially the most miserable time of the year. Either choose to experience Gender Dysphoria and constant triggering of panic, or sit out the entire time and fail that semester.

Having Dyspraxia only elevated the earlier issues more. The teacher's criticisized us constantly and the sports were harder to learn so we mainly struggled through them all. Having DID only elevated the learning issues further lol

Actually the most unlukcy child to not have been diagnosed with any sort of learning disorder, or be placed in special education for so long, how did the horrible grades in just about everything not tip the teachers off??? Did they actually believe we "weren't applying ourselves"??? Teachers sucks sometimes man

I remember skipping my 4th hour class nearly every day for the second semester one year because my 4th hour was gym first semester and I could go there and play and run and have fun because the teachers thought I was still in the class.

I loved gym class so much, more than any other class, including art class.

This feels like satire of the current age of the internet. at first i was like "yeah ok, haha expert woman, haha 'share food with her not against her'. whatever, dweeb".

Question: The "You got this. Keep going." posts and videos and such online don't achieve anything for me. Is that weird?

I've never understood how a post saying "you're not actually as incompetent as you say" or "you matter" actually gains any traction. Maybe it's because you scroll a shit ton, see so much negativity, that when you finally see positivity, you latch on? (Using the general "you" here.)

Like... Does the tiniest bit of validation... from a complete stranger... who has no idea who you are... and you'll likely never see again... who made the post completely without regard to helping you... actually care at all? Or are those posts just very successful at getting numbers, therefore helping validate themselves? Is it exactly what you want to hear, or what they want to hear?

To me it feels completely fake and also like it's a temporary fix at best. I can't imagine "keep going, it'll get better" matters until things are actually better, if that makes sense? If someone is super insecure about writing music, or drawing, or writing or something for example: Do those kinds of posts actually inspire you to make the art, and very importantly, after they actually make it, does it help them be less judgmental??

I've had no luck with most of these sorts of posts. If anything these posts are another reminder that i'm not making anything, despite wanting to. The "just get up and do it, stop waiting" only makes me feel ashamed of the fact i'm not doing it. I guess this is the result of mental health issues, but genuinely I kinda assumed those posts were for people like me, and not just... I don't know.

🪐 - what is headspace like for you?

It depends! So we have two subsystems that we know of, and each Group (as we call them) have access to a different part of the same area basically? So Group 1 (Lilian, Rose, Alluka/Nanika, Marionette, Victoria, Veronica, and Cina), all have access to "the house", which is basically a regular house but there just so much "off" about it. There's no bathroom (to avoid bed wetting 😂), the kitchen is not really functional, the living room changes to have furniture whenever someone's wants to sit, and the doors are "swapped" (front door is a sliding glass door, and leads to us fronting. back door is a wooden door with tons of locks that only Cina has keys to). Outside the front door there's a light, but no matter where which window you look through, you can't find the source. There's nothing outside, just a black void. Most importantly... There's no ceiling. And the shadowy void kinda creeps down the walls a bit. If people saw it irl, they'd think they were in a horror movie lmao, but it's kinda a conforting scary (when the "lights" are on anyway (keep in mind, no ceiling)). There's only 4 bedrooms but we mostly share only 3 of them anyway, lol. Mari seems to be the only one who can see a giant glowing crystal up past the "ceiling". Very much the same crystal that are in her own void-y eyes (the first time it looked like that, Veronica basically had a panic attack realizing that there might be something out in the void (because there was an alter that would always stare past the ceiling, but started staring at Mari's eyes instead)). We are the silliest, cryptic beings lmao.

As for Group 2 (Henrietta, Echo, Sen, Velouria, Hinami, and Rei), They exist on the island that apparently exists outside of our house (the door that Cina has the keys to). On the island there's a fire pit, with tents and/or cabins roughly around (changes depending on comfort or something?), they have 2 different docks, one for the alters to enjoy the view of the ocean, and one where Rei, their gatekeeper, hangs out alone, but sometimes Echo visits. Speaking of, Echo seems to be able to teleport, and also seems to be the only alter that can see everything on the island, but can't see all the stars in the sky at once (usually only a few at a time). Echo also frequently shapeshift into the others' appearances and steals their voices. (I'm just now realizing while she is switching voices she sounds like the Alternatives from Mandela Catalogue and that is knowledge i wish i didn't have lmao. Of course the shapeshifter that copies people is inspired by those thangs 😭.) Velouria and Henrietta usually handle Echo in headspace. Otherwise i can't think of much else to say besides there's no bugs or fish or anything, there seems to be a village on the island that they haven't been to much (it is inhabited by people, wondering if they're alters or just part of headspace), and there's a radio by the campfire that will play whatever music whoever's fronting is currently listening to.

In short, we are pretty scary looking, and live in scary places, for a system who does horrible with the horror genre 😭. I will also add, we have no idea where Evelyn stays. I can't tell if she lives in that room we don't use in the house, or lives somewhere in the village, or somewhere on the island, or on a different island (what exactly is Rei guarding at those docks?), so i'm not sure which Group Ev is even in. Sorry for all the "(side adventures)", but i hope it was still interesting to read!

Most of us have our own Spotify playlist which helps a lot because otherwise i'd be here for days 😭. "Onumi & Belak - SCRAPESURGE" and basically Oolacile's entire "Perciever Pt 1" LP is the reason Marionette exists, they're so heavily ingrained in its unnerving, but also silly, doll/robot aesthetic and just general demeanor. "Rogue - Adventure Time" is so tied to Victoria that it's kinda funny, even if i normally first think of rap and hip hop, that girl loves old ass Complextro. "LVTHER - Some Kind of Magic (feat. MYZICA)" immediately makes me think of Veronica singing along in the shower or something. And for myself, it's hard to think of what OTHERS would assume is a song that fits you but i think they'd go with either "LE BAWSKI - TOURNIQUET" or "femtanyl - KATAMARI"

Yes. Omfg, yes haha. Henrietta is bigender (man & woman) and takes full advantage of being AMAB and drops the voice REAAAL low (and adds tons of vocal fry, imagine like a CORPSEHUSBAND but a lot less severe, more "working man who just woke up in the morning (or is sick)". Meanwhile, Marionette is SUPER bubbly and animated while in a good mood, and i swear it sounds like THE ADHD stereotype, rambles and all. Last examples are me (Lilith) who i think i'd describe myself as "chronically online memer trans girl who doesn't try very hard to be fem, but still just kinda is", Victoria who is like perpetual dead eye stare autism until someone talks to her and suddenly she's super animated, and finally Rose who sounds like the gayest, most comically evil motherfucker here to tease and play with you. This is just our voice and general differences in talking haha.
