imagine this, you finally debut in a group, who is in your group? what concept is it? what style of music is it? what is the group name? finally, the last question, are you happy imagining this scenario?

“i’d love a happy and powerful concept, i think– as for those in my group. chaewon, ryujin, minju, jiwoo or seoyeon?” yeji chuckles, trying to imagine her friends in a group with her, “i would be very happy with all of these girls in my group. it would be uplifting and cheerful music, something every age could listen to… dance/pop!”

falling down

[ insert trigger warning: bullies. ]

vernon would like to think of himself as a good friend to those around him but it’s another thing when he finds that minju is aggravated for some reason. she’s quiet which isn’t usually the case for such a friendly girl. he feels that he’s done something to upset her because first off, this was his ridiculous idea. 

sure, vernon, bring an innocent girl to a wild party sounds like a great one.

but there’s no point in standing, doing nothing about it, so he searches for his friend who he let go off from his sight because he just wanted to get a quick drink to quench his dry mouth. eventually, he finds his friends throughout the piles of human bodies crowding the house party and it’s people, messing with his friend. who knows what they could have said to her? what if it was bad?

worried, he steps in the circle to speak up on the behalf of his friend. “let her go, she’s my little sister.” this excuse will surely push away the bullies but he doesn’t want to make a scene that leads to objects in the house being smashed and broken. “minju, are you okay?” he pulls her away from the group of immature boys and girls that aren’t even his friends.

it’s his mother’s birthday in approximately twelve hours ago. he’s a terrible son for today only, and he’d like to blame the onset of things-to-do and things-you-were-supposed-to-do-but-haven’t he’s been juggling with, but that’d make him a worse son, and jeno’s trying for redemption today. 

he knows close to nothing about his mother’s favorite perfume, or her style of clothing. all he has is information from his father that ‘mom’s favorite flower looks like a bunch of grapes or a bunch of stars,’ which has been nothing close to enlightening. 

the flower shop jeno’s ventured into today, nestled in a more quiet residential neighborhood of gangnam, is a maze. it’s hard to ask for help when he doesn’t know what, exactly, to ask. the shopkeeper looks preoccupied anyway, working on a bouquet that’s bigger than both of their heads combined. jeno falters for a bit, pacing back and forth between roses and flowers that look like roses but probably aren’t ( tulips, maybe? ). 

jeno is close to giving up and buying a gift card ( seriously, the worst ), preferring to play it safe than purchasing a random selection of flowers his mom won’t like, when, at the last second, he looks up and his gaze lands on a girl he doesn’t remember seeing when he entered twenty minutes ago in a carefully muted panic. 

he contemplates his options for a second before taking a few careful steps to approach the stranger, careful to keep a respectable distance when he greets her with a modest, “ uh, hi. ” jeno laughs sheepishly. “ would you happen to have an eye for flowers? ”

the event he was working for seemed to be for some idol group. yugyeom had seen a post about it briefly when he was scrolling through job listings and the pay had been enough for him to not care what the job entailed--to an extent. he’d been cut back on hours with the convenience store, so this was rather important for him to get some extra money. if he wanted to help pay rent this month and not have jinyoung on his ass. so far they’d just been having him run errands like a pack mule or something, which is fine. but he was also starting to get a headache from going in and out so much. the cold outside compared to the hot inside making him want to just curl up and sleep. 

the other part of this that had him a little freaked out was the collection of people all waiting in a line to get into the venue he’s working for. a good handful of them looked like they should be in school and while yugyeom wasn’t the best roll model he still couldn’t help but frown. as he carried in another box, the dancer paused. “yo kid, aren’t you like 12 or something? shouldn’t you be in class?” he asked, glancing at the line before back at the girl he paused at.

As few of you may have noticed my activity has been pretty spotty- I blame that partly on my freshly sparked muse for game rp again but also on the fact I have outdated threads I no longer have any muse for. Alas I’m gonna do a quick head count of the replies I owe and which of those threads I’ll be dropping.
