She recounted her day in brisk passages and then at the bottom of the page wrote in her tight script. “Discovered I am in a delicate state fucking pregnant.”

Miranda Barlow has been many things but she has never been a mother. Perhaps Nassau is the place to learn to be one. Or perhaps not.
