Going by what I have read of the court documents (legal docs not just the media, not just Angelina saying this happened or whatever- legitimate court documents that’s are all the back to 2008 when they bought the winery) she is the one who funded the winery. She was still funding it even though she no longer owns any part of it. The problem was he was blocking her from business and she wanted out of any business with alcohol. But he didn’t want her out because he was using her money to pay for his frivolous expenses- million dollar pools, staircases and a reconstruction of the studio? All paid with her money. He seems to be broke. Despite how much I’m sure he makes per role, I think he’s been gambling, drinking, just throwing it all away. And likely that’s why he refused to buy her out in February/March of 2020 when she first offered it to him. She then tried again in early 2021 and this time he and his team disappeared. Didn’t come back until they came back with an NDA. Saying if she agreed to not speak of the plane incident (where he terrorized her and the kids for hours on end, shoved her, choked two of the kids, tried attacking Maddox for standing up for his mom, poured alcohol on her while she slept in the bed with their kids etc etc) then he would buy her out. Now, ofc Angelina would refuse that. Does she seem like someone who would stay silent? Who could be pushed around like that? No. She definitely is not. So ofc she said no and she went to court and she got permission to sell her shares. Now Yuri Shefler (not a Russian oligarch despite what Pitt tried to claim) and his company Stoli own her half. Stoli was suspicious because just like Angelina they weren’t allowed to do business. He has blocked them too. So they asked to see the financial documents, he refused to show them to them. So THEY went to court to get the documents turned over to them. Won, and when presented must have found something suspicious in the financials because they sued Pitt afterwards. Making me believe that Angelina as right in her suspicions also. Ofc this made Pitt nervous so he sued Angelina to get the sale overturned. But it hasn’t been going well for him. He’s continuing to lose every single case… he’s also sued by others too. The winery’s as raised by the French government, his charity he shuttered? Well he still was he still was in the hook for the defrauding of Hurricane Katrina victims. Leonardo DiCaprio paid his 20 million dollar settle off because he clearly doesn’t have the money without Angelina’s funds to draw from. He is also losing in California, Luxembourg and as I said- France. Luxembourg judges say Angelina broke no Luxembourg laws. The French gov didn’t seem to believe him at all in the first place. He would do well to remember, just because public opinion is in your side doesn’t actually mean the court will be too.
