trying to improve both my bahasa (malay) and punjabi and it's funny how often the same word exists in both languages and they mean somewhat different things but i feel they may share a similar root either in sanskrit or in arabic or persian depending on the word, but may also be simply a coincidence. a lot of words fall into this category and that also makes it more challenging for me to wrap my head around both languages because of the dual meanings. like sangat in bahasa means 'a lot' or 'very much' and sangat in punjabi means 'community'. but it's kind of funny experiencing this irl because my family speaks a kind of english-malay-punjabi pidgin with each other in practice and you just end up intuitively knowing what meaning of the word is intended via context

Do you think Bo and Ahsoka ever addressed the booty smash that happened when they first meet?

(obs: your drawings are actually the reason I kinda shipp bosoka now)

Hmm, yeah, I have some thoughts on this! Something I’ve been rotating in my brain for a bit. (This is all pre-relationship btw because I looove tension)

After the Siege of Mandalore, and they both gain mutual respect for each other, I think Ahsoka would be willing to just drop it. Not necessarily forgive, but letting it go. So long as that kind of behavior doesn’t happen again.

Bo-Katan initially doesn’t have much thought on the matter. She knows she’s done bad things but justifies them as part of the mission of Death Watch. To avoid any guilt or introspection of course. It’s not until Bo spends the time after defecting from DW, she slowly unpacks how much of a sham it was. And becomes more self aware of her past actions.

I like to think that Ahsoka regularly collaborates with the Nite Owls during the Empire Era. During their time, Ahsoka and Bo grow closer. They work well together in missions. Bo is very goal-oriented and can help Ahsoka stay focused on the task at hand. While Ahsoka can see The Big Picture, and works very well with coming up with plans on the fly when things go awry. They end up enjoying each other’s company even.

For Bo this causes an unexpected side effect. A memory of something she did bubbles back up. She can’t shake it away like normal. It makes her feel… BAD? and WEIRD. Feelings she’s rarely felt before, and it’s eating at her. There’s a part of her that wants to make things right. But she’s far too proud to apologize on her own volition. Apologizing is a sign of weakness! So Bo stews with her complicated feelings, not knowing how to sort any of it out.

Then on a quieter day, Bo asks Ahsoka a question. Why would she keep associating with someone like her? They had a common enemy for the Siege, but why would she continue an ally ship with Bo afterwards? Bo airs out every transgression. She tried to kill Ahsoka all those years ago. Held her hostage, harassed her, she’s a horrible person. She bluntly asks why would Ahsoka ever associate with someone who’s done so many bad things?

Ahsoka, listens intently, mulling over what Bo said. She replies:

“So. Are you going to apologize then?”

Bo is baffled. She wants to give an indignant retort, but Ahsoka cuts her off and backs her into a wall.

“You know, you did do all of those things. And I had put it behind us. You decided to bring this up. I have no idea why, unless… you’re apologizing. I wonder if you’ll follow through.”

HELLO. HI . this is just our own batman universe ! multiverse junk and all that .so there isnt rlly like a. over arching story? (yet(🤨)) BUT we do have some character stories and alottt of headcanons. sorry there isnt alot yet we just messing around

there is a entirely hypothetical video game (none of us are game devs💔) involving harvey that we've thought about, tho its not rlly anything i can ralk about as i dont know alllll the details. ill save rhat for the other two. ill just say that is similar to disco elysium in design a wee bit

but yeah! its mainly us writing the characters how we want since dc comics cant be trusted with a good lot of them (harvey 😞). also batjokes is canon
