Well votes are in! Looks like you all want a prompt with one of the canon scrybes! Now since I've already written one for P03 in the past I will be refrain from writing a new one this go around. However that prompt is still open for responses on my rp blog @junosshadowlibrary which i have reblogged so you all won't have to scroll! Hello! And Welcome!

Greetings my lovely Inscryption friends! And welcome to Juno's Shadow library! This is a secondary blog that coincides with my Inscryption blog @junoscrybeofshadows!

I made this blog to help keep things organized between my main inscryption blog and any and all future rp prompts that I may post. And with this new blog there are a few rules and notes that I would like to make!

RULES and INFO!!

1.This is an inscryption rp blog only. I will not be doing any cross overs, or any HEX related stuff. This is because I've not only never seen HEX, but it is also so i can keep everything consistent

2. All Oc's and Canon characters are welcome! Feel free to use whoever you would like when interacting with rp prompts

If you do use an OC please provide a link to the ref of your oc or short summary of them when you first interact with a prompt if possible. It'll help me out a little bit to make sure I know how to interact with them and just so then i can get to know your character more.

That is unless you wish to do a scenario where characters meet for the first time. I just love seeing the oc's people create and the stories behind them!

This is not required or anything but it would help!

3. Any canon character prompts I make will involve my interpretation/rendition of characters . I call my interpretation "Shadows of the Game" versions since it does involve some of my OCS.

This means I may include, personalities i think characters have, intepretation of pre-game and post game events, mentions of ocs and so forth. I will use canon lore and stuff as well, but know that my interpretation and head canons will also be used.

Any prompts I interact that was made by another blogs while canon characters I will be focusing more on a neutral style and focus more on canon stuff.

4. Please be respectful. I will not always be able to rp so please understand that I may go on hiatus for extended periods of time. I will try to get to any and all replies when I can.

5. If you have any, concerns or questions feel free to ask them in an ask! Anons are turned on so you can ask things anonymously if needed! You can also send me a DM as well if you have any questions. Just make sure that it is sent to @junosshadowlibrary

So don't be shy on asking about a topic/prompt suggestions, concern, or any question you may have! All I ask is that you be respectful :)

6. NO NSFW! No if's and's or buts. There will be no nsfw here. Some angst and fluff stuff is fine but no nsfw comments, remarks, themes, or actions will be tolerated here.

7. HAVE FUN! And if you have any questions or prompt ideas feel free to send them to the ask box!

My little sister was absolutely crushed when I said my fiancee kissed me. Why? Because I didn't tell her right away, she found out a couple weeks after the fact. So I asked her what my romantic life had to do with my little sister. She paused, stepped out of sight for a couple seconds, then came back and said "Everything."

Now, my glasses are off because I'm eating Top Ramen and I hate it when they fog up. But I can hear that smugness in her voice. So I think for a second, I'm thinking, "how can I get this little shit back?" And it hits me!

"So, my romantic life has everything to do with you, huh? Well then the reverse is also true, so uh... Why don't you have a boyfriend? I have a boyfriend and a girlfriend, so why don't you have a boyfriend at least?"

Note: my fiancee is my GF, and my boyfriend and her know each other, it's a really weird poly situation.

She was silent and the friend that was with us was watching the drama. Then I added: "I know some guys who are single."

Her: "Guys only think about sex!" As she walked away, flipping me off. (She's ace)

Me: "No, he only thinks about knives."

Then the friend piped up with: "Well, girls think about sex too. Sex and knives. Sometimes both at the same time."

Sister: "Kinky."

Me: "..... That's hot, NGL." (I DO NOT HAVE THIS KINK.... I think anyways.)

Hello Anon!

A lot of my time is definitely taken up proofreading and testing between myself and one other. The point of publicly sharing a WIP is to get public feedback, but I'd still like it to be readable and a smooth experience when it's shared!

So I am very grateful for your offer! In fact, when Chapter 2 comes out, I'll likely be putting out a form to get feedback about the Prologue & Chapter 1 that will provide early access to the Chapter 2; then I'l be able to get some initial reactions and feedback before fully releasing it. We'll see!!

I will say that the writing process has been much, much more enjoyable after taking a break from Uroboros, giving me a renewed perspective. There might be some changes to the lore, characters, etc. as time goes on, and I'm excited to share how it evolves. I am already thinking of changing scenes in Chapter 1; for example, I am not satisfied with the absence of cyclical symbolism, so I'll be incorporating that more.

Progress has been slow because of major projects happening in my life, but I'm slowly shifting back into working on Uroboros. ♥️

I think I´ve red all I could about it and the characters, and it still doesn´t feel like enough. I used to write a lot and I just... stopped. I always have hundreds of ideas that I just push away because I say to myself that I don´t have the time, but you made me want to write again, and I can´t thank you enough for that

There are many nights I lie in bed reading back on my work, and I find myself repulsed by the decisions I made -- and you cannot imagine that, by the power of your own words, I have begun to look upon my own with more kindness. Hi guys,

Very informal update! I've been so busy in real life focusing on graduation, but receiving love over the game and the thought people put into their MCs keeps me in love with my story. Just another appreciation post and thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout.

When things calm down in real life, I might go on a NaNoWriMo-sized journey for Uroboros outside of November to make up for lost time.

I would like to promise extra content as thanks, but I'll only do so when I can get the real writing done!

All I'm doing is receiving people's kindness and consideration -- it's more profound that not only do people see my work, but take the time out of their day to ask about it and even provide me feedback. I just realized my word count tracker wasn't working for February!! I'm sorry to everyone who thought I was dead to writing for Uroboros ♥️

If anyone was unaware, I have a word count tracker for Uroboros for whenever you want to check in on updates for it!

Spoiler: I had a few coding projects this month as well as a few real-life deadlines, so I didn't write as much as I wanted! I hope to still meet the goal by writing to compensate over the next few days before February ends 💕

In the new art I'm commissioning for them, they'll have dreads that I think will look amazing!! I love their afro, but I also love exploring the many possibilities of styling their hair. It brings out my childhood glee of dressing my dolls or styling hair in Flash games 💓💓

A few things

Hi guys! Just wanted to drop by and say a few things 💕

One, I will no longer be using Wix for Uroboros, and instead will be using WordPress. This change will happen once I finish Chapter 2 to keep myself focused on priorities with the IF.

Two, I've been writing a lot of personal pieces and projects unrelated to Uroboros, but I've written a lot this past month!

A part of me is sad not to be writing on Uroboros, but I've decided to work on my writing discipline to write a couple thousand words everyday instead of worrying about editing. I hope to translate this skill to the development of Uroboros! November will be Uroboros-free for the time being, however.

I've also done this to not lose steam with Uroboros. A certain mental quirk I have is being dictated by my fixations, varying in length and intensity. While I still love Uroboros dearly as one of my first serious projects, I do not want to lose my excitement for it, and that means writing other personal pieces. ❤️

I've learned quite a bit about myself along the way. For some reason, Uroboros is taking extremely slow for me to write relatively; I used to churn out 2k words a day for any other story. Uroboros is a big departure from that, and even writing 300 words takes the soul from my body.

Another struggle I have is getting past the prologue and Chapter 1 in any story I write. With some excellent advice, I've realized it's because I'm hyperfocused on the plot itself. Plot is the building blocks, the foundation, but story is the tale of the characters themselves, and how they carry the readers through the dullest parts of the novel.

I truly needed a breather from stressing out about Uroboros' progress and its finer details. Stepping away from it has given me clarity and perspective, and I have also began to long to return to it. Distance makes the heart grow fonder!

I will most likely be posting the side project I've been working on, under a different name. It's completely and utterly different from Uroboros, and it targets a much different audience, hence why I want to keep my personas separate. I won't say what it is, however!! :)

It'll be a much, much quicker write than Uroboros, but my magnum opus will always be Uroboros, and I will not waste inspiration on anything else if I had it; it's mainly for days I cannot bring myself to be inspired, which are quite many. 🥺

Anyway, that was quite a ramble. I will hopefully see you guys soon!! 🥺💕💕 In commemoration of this mini update, I will break my rule and write a little for Uroboros today. 💕
