Fanfiction Prompt

adrien is having a hard time figuring out his love problems, and decides to draw up a tournament bracket to organise his thoughts. he thinks the wise thing to do would be to flip coins between everyone in each bracket through to the end stages, and then romantically pursue whoever wins best of three in the final showdown. he puts down some expected names such as kagami, ladybug, and marinette, and some less-likely names in luka, wayhem, and nino, as well as a bunch of other people nobody have never even heard of ("i heard marinette has a cousin named germaine? and i needed to fill that spot, so"). he asks alya to take the minutes of his attempt, and she agrees on the sole condition that if nino makes it to the finals, adrien picks the other person instead. she doesn't want to push the idea of marinette too hard - besides, she already knows that marinette is on the list three times (as ladybug, marinette, and multimouse), so she thinks marinette has a pretty good shot at it. the finals end up being between nino and some other guy alya's never heard of. she's sad for marinette, of course, but she doesn't want to give anything away on marinette's behalf, either. so she squints at the bracket and asks aloud: "who's... marino the waiter?"

Marinette would've earned so much more money if people hired her as a spy or a private detective rather than a babysitter. She has some skills there and as Joker said - If you're good at something never do it for free. Wait what babysitting? She should just drop the fashion industry and pursue stuff like these! She can sneak in everywhere, she's a legend as Marino, the way she figures out what her lucky charm is supposed to do and when she's solving sh*t and thinks and reacts quickly, she should really do this for living.

Miraculous Ladybug story idea that I’m not confident I could pull off properly, but I know there’s someone out there who can:

Genderfluid!Marinette discovers that when they transform while feeling more masculine and dressing as Marino, their personality has changed enough that it affects their superhero costume. Cue Chat getting jealous of this “Manbug” guy who’s borrowing his lady’s miraculous (because obviously it must be the boy that Ladybug’s in love with), but naturally Chat ends up in love with him too (“Dang it, I can see how Ladybug ended up falling for Manbug, he’s amazing!”)
